"I'm so sorry."
The cloaked figure said bowing. Now that the figure was in front of them, they could see that they were male and had bark-like skin like wood.
The raccoon was also being quite docile unlike before, rubbing its head against its master and looking up at him with a cute look. One wouldn't believe that it had been running around beating people up.
Cyan still doesn't trust it.
"Apologize, Ricky." The cloaked man said to the raccoon. The raccoon then begins to whimper and whine in protest at what its master had said. The figure's voice then became stern. "Ricky, apologize."
Ricky turns to the adventurers and innkeeper, lowers its head, and made several noises before turning to look at its master as if it had been betrayed.
The cloaked man turns to the adventurers and innkeeper. "Again I apologize for Ricky's action and this is compensation for his actions." He then tosses a small bag of coins to Brick to which he caught before opening it. Inside were a bunch of gold coins. "Hey, are you sure you di—" Brick try calls out to the cloaked man but the man was nowhere to be seen.
"Where the hell did he go?" Brick asks the other.
"I don't know, he was there, and then he wasn't there," Cyan said. "So...I don't owe you any money now?" He points toward the small bags of coins.
"No, you still owe me money."
"Oh, come on."
*With the Cloaked Man and Raccoon.*
"Felix, Good to see you!"
The cloaked man shook hands with Felix, smiling. Felix had Savant follow him to a table with some chairs with cups and a teapot.
"Likewise Savant," Felix replied. He gestures for him to take a seat to which Savant did. Taking a seat, Felix clears his throat. "As you know, I didn't ask to come here to discuss trivial things," Felix said seriously.

Savant nods as he pours him a cup of tea. "I presume that it is something dangerous enough to warrant something from me," He said.
"Yes, yes, you see, there had been assassins spotted trying to kill some adventurers and innkeepers," Felix took some photos of the Bronze Turtle, Cyan, and Brick and put them on the table.
Savant observes the photos. "I just met them today," He said. Ricky ran to Savant carrying a bronze coin showing it to its master. Savant moves his hand to pet Ricky while looking at the photos.
"You met them?"
"Yes, I met them when Ricky here was causing in their inn," Savant said petting Ricky.
"I see," Said Felix nodding. "Anyway, a citizen had reported hearing gunshots and smelling blood and so they and went and calls the guardsmen and when guardsmen were sent to the inn they were attacked by assassins and one of their leaders and called for supports and the guardsmen called for us to help them. When we finally got to the inn we spotted their leaders and were about to capture them before they fled," Felix said. he then narrows his eyes. "However a strange thing was that in place of the other assassins were puddles of blood."
"Puddles of blood..." Savant said then his eyes widen in realization. "People disappearing with puddles of blood in their place, just like them."
"Yes, just like them," Felix said. "It seems that no matter how far we run away and try to forget about that place it seems we have to confront it." Felix looks at Savant straight in the eyes. "We have to get others together."
Savant sighs. "Yes, it would seem so. But would be hard to get the others together and some of them might not wants to," Savants warns. "And, your body is not what it used to be."

"I know that."
"Well, I'll still have contacts with the old lizard, the knight, and the brute," Said Savant. "So I'll try to get them together."
"Good."
*With the main cast*
"Lester, can I borrow some money?"
"Hell no. We spend most of our money on armor." Lester said destroying Cyan's hope. "Just go questing."
"Yeah, I guess I'll do that," Cyan said. He then went upstairs to get what he needs to go questing.
Lester nod and lean onto his chairs and listen.
It was quiet. Too quiet.
"Hey, Cyan."
"AHHHHHHHH, WHY THE FUCK ARE YOU IN THE TOILET!!"
There we go.
"What the hell?" Lupin asks as he looks upstairs. Cyan ran downstairs as a drench Peter walks down the stairs frowning.
"Why the fuck are you?" Lester asks as he looks at Peter.
Peter took a seat at one of the nearby tables ignoring Lester's question. "Can I have a coffee?" He asks Brick.
"Yeah sure," Brick before grabbing some coffee beans from the cabinet. Peter then turns to faces the others.
"We got a problem and this concerns you."

Survival Recommended
The universe is destroyed and its inhabitants are thrown into Existence. Eli finds himself in a new world, with a new body, and a System that's more interested in how he'll die. Follow him on his journey of survival in Realms above ours. The story is already completely planned as far as major plot elements go, and it's LONG, chinese novel long. The premise isnt exactly the most original, but after a couple chapters you won't mistake it for any other novel. Be warned this has little in the way of childish wish fufillment and lots of characters are going to die, so don't get too attached. As this is my first attempt at writing, the begining will probably be a bit rough. Please don't shy from criticisms, and I plan to rewrite most of the begining chapters as I get better.

So, we will start at three points; you'll have to figure out where they are in the overall story. The story of Hal and instinct, a pair so close that they might as well have been one. The story of The Husk, a creature on a hunt that would span generations. The story of Mask and a hero. How one will come to learn of the other's past and the many faces they had.
