《Tales of Idiots.》21. The Pain...

Cyan regrets being born.
"Come on, it won't hurt...At least I think..." A doctor was holding a massive syringe and was looking for Cyan.
Cyan sighs. "So annoying, how did I get myself into this?" He mutters. Drake twists his body to look around in the cram spot that he was in.
He then saw something that made him smile.
* A Few Hours Before*
Cyan was in extreme pain.
"I want to die..." Cyan groans. There were several needles stuck in his behind as he lay on the couch with Drake sitting on the same couch cleaning his rifle.
"Why did you think chasing after a group stun quills would be a good idea?" Drake asks, looking at Cyan. "You do know that stun quills will immediately launch their quills everywhere when they detect for a tiny bit of danger." He then went back to cleaning his rifle.
Cyan groan.
Stun Quills are porcupines whose quills have venom in them that can make someone to unable to control their body and is very painful. The venom wasn't dangerous and couldn't even kill a baby bird, they just cause pain.
Their quills are very valuable to alchemists due to how many uses they have, because of this, alchemists would post requests for their quills every day. So, there should be a lot of adventurers would look for them, right?
Well, not exactly. Because stun quills will launch their quills at even the tiny bit of danger, adventurers would be covered in quills when they look for stun quills and as we just said, their quills are very painful.
So, after cases and cases of adventurers being covered in the stun quills' quills, they just left the stun quills alone. Nowadays, only beginners would take on requests for stun quills.
And one of these beginners is Cyan.
"I just can't resist the rewards that the requester said that they would give. Besides, I did get the quills, right?" Cyan chuckle.

"True," Drake said.
The two stay on the couch in silence. No one besides the two was in the inn as everyone else was either shopping or was in the forge with Grimmnarl.
"...You know, I know someone who can get those quills and venom out of your body," Drake said searching through his pocket. He then found what he was looking for and pull out a business card.
"Really?"
"Yeah." Drake got up, carrying his sniper rifle. "Come on, get up." He said, nudging Cyan with his rifle. Cyan groan.
"I can't move..."
"Oh."
*A Few Minutes Later*
Everyone was giving Drake and Cyan looks.
"Is this really a good idea?" Cyan asks.
Right now, Cyan was laying in a garden cart that Drake found in the inn from somewhere and was being carried to somewhere by Drake.
"It's either this or you walk in constant pain," Drake said as he cart Cyan. "I don't even know why Brick has this if he doesn't use it."
Brick always complain about having to carry too many groceries whenever he had to restock and whenever he went to the grocery store, the shopping carts were all gone and so he had to carry all of the groceries by hand.
He also didn't own a car which brought the question as for why he didn't just use the garden cart to carry the groceries.
"Hey, you there, stop!"
"Hmm?" Drake turned to see a guardsman approaching him. "What is it?" Drake asks, stopping.
"You are under arrest for causing a public disturbance!" The guardsman said pulling a handcuff from his belt ready to arrest Drake.
"What?"
"Well, you're not being arrested, just have to pain a fine and I don't know what the crime for carrying a fake dead body in a garden cart," The guardsman said. "However, you are disturbing everyone with that fake body so you are charged with disturbance of the peace!"

"But this isn't a fake dead body," Drake said pointing to Cyan.
"WHAT? Did you murder this man?" The guardsman said putting his hand near his baton.
"No, he's alive and we're taking him to the doctor to treat him from stun quill's venom," Drake said, still pointing at Cyan. "Hey, Cyan tell the guardsman you're still alive. "
"I'm still alive..." Cyan groan.
"Oh...I AM SO SORRY!" The guardsman yells bowing. "PLEASE GO ON YOUR WAY!"
"Oh...Ok..." Drake said before going on his way, carting Cyan. After he was out of earshot, Drake mutter about how weird the guardsmen was.
After a few more minutes of walking, the two arrived at their destination.
"Doc. Lexis's Medicine," Drake said as he carts Cyan into the building. The building was wooden doors and there was a sign that said Doc. Lexis's Medicine.
The inside of the building was clean and there was a desk with someone sitting there typing on a computer.
"Hello," Drake said.
The person lookup with a flat face which turns to a smile when she saw Drake. "Oh, it's good to see you again, M—Ummm, what is your name? I didn't get it when we first met." She was the mom that Drake had met when helping her lost child find her mom.
"My name is Drake Coffin."
"Ah yes! Mr. Coffin, I still can not thank you enough for your help! Anyway, what is your business here, Mr. Coffin," The lady said. "Oh! Forgive my rudeness, I am Dr. Lewis, the best and only doctor in this town," Dr. Lewis added.
Dr. Lewis wore a white coat and a tie with a untuck shirt, messy hairs and a dress pant.
"My friend here got his behind filled with stun quills' venom trying to complete a quest that needed stun quills' quills," Drake explains gesturing toward Cyan who only groan in pain.
"Ah...We can get the venom out of his system quickly! Do you still have the card I gave you?" Dr. Lewis said.
"Yeah, I still have it," Drake said pulling the card out of his pocket and hand it over to her.
"Alright, follow me," Dr. Lewis said taking the card. She stood up and gesture for Drake to follow her. Drake follows her, still carrying Cyan on the garden cart, to a room. On their way there, Drake notes that the place was empty.
"Here we are," Dr. Lewis said, opening the door.
Drake cart Cyan into the room. "You can leave and wait in the waiting room if you want," Dr. Lewis said. Drake nod and left the room and back to the waiting room and took a seat.
After a few minutes, Drake then heard cries of pain coming from the room.
Dr. Lewis walks into the waiting room taking off gloves.
"Your friend no longer has those needles in his behind but he still needs to take his medicine to get all of the venoms out of his system," Dr. Lewis said grabbing a clipboard and papers. "Oh, and let me make this clear. Do not use any potion or healing magic since they'll just make the venom worse, got it?" She added seriously.
Drake nod.
The doctor then hands Drake the clipboard and a pen. "Sign these since we have to have our clients sign these in order for them to get their medicines," She said.
When Drake finishes signing the paper, he heard loud crashing noises.
Dr. Lewis turns to noise. "It would seem that your friend is trying to run away," She said. The doctor then pulls out a giant syringe and smiles at Drake. "After all, your friend needs to take his medicine!"
Drake considered asking why she was using a giant syringe to inject medicine but decided it wasn't worth the trouble.
"...Sure..."
