"Die."

The monster launches the crystals that were in his arms at the adventurers and innkeeper causing them to scatter.

"Fuck, fuck, fuck!" Lester curses as he ran.

One of the crystals embed itself into Brick's legs, causing him to wince in pain, suddenly, he felt his body went numb causing him to fall to the ground. The monster smiles as his arm shift into a whip and swing it at Brick.

Basil rushes toward Brick and grabs the whip before it hit the innkeeper. The whip shifts into a blade cutting into Basil's hand, blood from his hand drip onto the ground, causing him to let go of the whip.

The monster was just about used the whip to cut Basil's head but was stopped when a grenade was thrown at him, exploding in his face. The grenade was thrown by Lester who had pick it up from one of the bodies.

"HA! How do you like that ya creepy fuck!" Lester yells as he uploaded bullets at the monster until he ran out and had to reload.

Basil was about to charge at the monster, but Lester stops him from doing so while reloading. "Grab Brick and run as fast as you can away from this guy," Lester said.

Basil nod and threw Brick over his shoulder and start to run away.

"I'm not gonna you run away again."

Lester was about to start shooting again at the monster but felt a sharp pain in his right arm, causing him to drop the rifle as blood was leaking out of his right arm. He clutches his right arm in pain, then he had his head slammed into the wall by the monster.

The monster then proceeds to throw a flurry of punches at Lester, causing blood to land on his face, all while laughing.

"HAHAHAHAHA! COME ON, SCREAM, SCREAM IN PAIN! COME ONnn...Huh?" The monster laugh before stopping. Lester's face was coated with blood, blood was also on the wall and ground around them along with some of the blood on the monster's body.

"How disappointing, I was hoping that he last longer, so I can vent more of my anger on him," The monster grumble. "Oh well, there are still those two...hahaha, argh!"

Lester had pierced one of the monster's eyes with a dagger that he picked up from the ground. He was on the monster's back, digging the dagger deeper into the monster's skull causing the monster to screech in pain.

The monster threw Lester off, Lester winces in pain as his face met with the cold hard ground. The monster approached Lester as he pulls the dagger out of the eye, the injured eye then proceeds to heal at a rapid rate.

"You would have lived if you had just stayed down," The monster said while smiling. "Then again, I am quite happy to see that you're still happy since I can get more fun out of you."

"Fuck...You," Lester growled.

The monster just continues smiling. He raises his hand and was about to chop Lester's head off his shoulder before he was a bullet hit him in the head.

"Hmm?" The monster turns around to see Basil swinging a warhammer and send him flying, slamming into the wall, leaving a human-sized hole. Basil had a murderous look on his face as he gripped his hammer tightly, a band could be seen on his arm.

"Hey, Lester you all right?" Drake, he walks to Lester and helps him stand up.

"What do you think the answer is? I probably look like shit right now," Lester jokes.

Drake chuckled, his face turned into one that was serious when he saw the monster getting up. "Hey, doesn't he look like that guy who had no face? What was his name Order or was it Ordell," HE asks.

"Oh shit."

Drake duck behind a pile of debris, the bullets missing his head. "Just how many mages do they fucking have," He grumbled.

"Maybe we wouldn't have to deal with this if Peter didn't shot those two guards! At least use some sort of silence spells or enchantment on his goddammit gun!" Lupin yells.

"Fuck, fuck, fuck!"

"Cover me!" Peter yells, he closes his eyes and began chanting as a magic circle appears above, facing the guards.

"Hunt down your enemies,

No matter the cost,

The multi-headed beast,

Guard of the Underworld,

Hound of Hades,

Cerberus!"

A massive three-headed dog, the size of a truck, eyes red, skin dark, and a snake tail that was hissing appeared out of the magic circle. "BARK!" The three-headed dog barked, causing guards to cover their ears due to how loud it was.

Cerberus then lunge at the guards, tearing them apart, spewing out fire, acid, and frost. The adventurers look at Peter with fear.

"You can summon Cerberus, the guard of the underworld itself?" Lupin asks.

"I'll explain later," Peter said looking a bit pale and not answering Lupin's question. "Besides, we don't have time," He added.

They then heard someone panting behind them. They turn around to see Basil, out of breath with Brick over his shoulder like a sack of potatoes who had a red crystal in his leg.

Drake and Lupin rush toward Basil, who collapses to the ground. Lupin pulls out a flask and puts it up to Basil's mouth and lets Basil drink the water out of the flask, while Drake had lay Brick down to a comfortable position with the help of Cyan.

Basil was done drinking the water, he began to start talking, "Lester...He need help." He then starts coughing, he then got up with the help of Lupin.

"Hey, Lupin, come over here."

Lupin and Basil walk over to Drake, Cyan, and Peter standing over Brick observing the wound that was on his leg and the red crystal that was embedded in it.

Peter had gloves on, his hands on the red crystal but hasn't started pulling it out. "Do you have a potion on you?" He asks. Lupin nods. "Alright, have a healing potion on ready and be ready when I pull out this crystal."

Lupin pulls out a healing potion and Peter pulls out the crystal with some effort causing the wounds to start leaking blood. Lupin pours the potion over the wound, causing it to slowly heal.

When the wounds finally finish healing, Brick struggle to sit up but was unable to, after a few more minutes, Brick was finally able to sit up. "Arghhh...my body feels so numb and tired," He groans.

Peter held up the blood-soaked crystal. "See this crystal? This is the crystal that was grabbed from that warehouse," He said. "This is what causes you to be so tired and your body numb. This means that the people who kidnapped you are the same people who been kidnapping people from the slum."

Lupin curses under his breath, Drake groans, Basil just tired and Cyan was looking around nervously.

Peter then threw the crystal over his shoulder. "Alright, where is Lester?" He asks.

"We got attack by a monster, a freak of nature," Brick said. "I got one of the crystals embedded in me after the monster began firing those crystals, Lester had Basil carry me and run away. The last thing I saw was Lester getting slammed to the wall."

"Fuck, we need to move, fast," Lupin said.

Peter nods and whistles causing Cerberus to appear beside, surprising the other. "Hey, you done with those guards?" He asks.

Cerberus nod and bark, while wagging their tail.

"Good boy," Peter said petting the hound. "Say, can you let give me and those guys a ride?" He asks, pointing to the others.

Cerberus's heads bark and nod, their tail wagging even faster.

"Good."
