《ADEPTAVERSE》7 - First Fury Arc: Go! Go! Hugo!

As the battleaxe formed in Hugo's hand the bandits' eyes widened. Hugo simply stared at them.
Altara stayed way behind Hugo, more people leaving the club as he stood there.
"KEH! KILL THE BASTARD THEN!" The leader ordered roughly, motioning the three others behind him to attack, which they did.
"HYARGHHH!" One battle cried as he ran towards Hugo with a machete, swinging vertically down at him. Hugo simply blocked it with the pole of the battleaxe above his head. He then sent a kick to the bandit's groin, causing him to grunt loudly and weaken his push on Hugo's block. Hugo took this chance to headbutt the bandit, spinning around and slamming the head of the axe right into the bandit's chest. This made the bandit cough blood and drop his machete, his arms flopped to his side before he lied dead on the head of the axe, slowly falling backwards off of it. Hugo looked at the bandit drop to the floor and swung his axe downwards over the dead body, cleaning the axe of most of the blood and making it go over the body.
Altara saw this, going pale as he went to hide behind the bar. He noticed the bartender hiding there too, who was loading a pistol.
"No. Let him handle this." Altara said calmly to the bartender, who was shaking but complied with Altara's instruction.
Hugo meanwhile dodged a thrust from one of the other's knives and ran swiftly to the dancefloor, moving the battleaxe in front of him in a defensive pose. "Come come!"
The bandit with the knife threw his knife with accuracy at Hugo's head. Hugo quickly swung the battleaxe down onto it, causing it to chip into the floor below him. The three bandits saw this and started to sweat at how fast Hugo was. Hugo quickly pulled the knife out the concrete floor and looked at it, the blade was blunt from the impact.

He then glanced up, throwing the dagger which was now enchanted with electricity at the original owner. It struck the man straight in the head, causing him to spasm. Blood sprayed out his head as this happened.
Hugo chuckled and leaned the battleaxe over his shoulder as the electrified man flopped to the floor, the body smoking.
One man started to run away, but Hugo quickly threw the axe over his head and towards the fleeing man, striking him straight in the spine and sending him flying into the wall of the club. The axe then desummoned and summoned right back into Hugo's hand.
The last bandit remained, who had a steel club in his left hand. His right hand was behind his back but Hugo didn't notice. Hugo started to slowly walk up to him. "Bounty on me? Why?" He simpled asked, frowning.
The bandit gulped. "Okay okay! I'll tell you everything! The boss set a bounty on the most powerful teacher's heads because we were planning on raiding your tower! I swear that's all!" He shrieked out.
...
"But that doesn't really matter." The bandit's voice suddenly went dark.
"H-Huh?" Hugo stopped walking, his brow furrowing.
"BECAUSE I'LL KILL YOU ANYWAYS!!!"
The bandit quickly pulled his right hand from behind his back, pointing a revolver at Hugo, but before he could pull the trigger a spark of lighting hit him from the side and the hand holding the gun was suddenly cut off.
"AARGGHHAHHGHRH!"
Altara stood behind the bandit with his sword extended across the right side of his body, his sword enchanted with lightning. The bandit's hand fell down next to him which was still holding the gun. The bandit started to shake on the floor, lightning running through the whole of his body as he screamed more. Altara saw this and quickly stood back. Hugo grabbed the revolver from the sliced off hand and put the bandit out of his misery, dropping the gun right afterwards. Altara flopped against the bar, panting whilst lazily holding his sword in his right hand. "I...I killed.." He muttered.

"No. I did. Your electric wasn't enough to kill him." Hugo said, the electric running out on the body which now lied there in a pool of blood.
"But the han-" Altara was then interrupted. "The hand wouldn't have been enough to kill him." Hugo stated strictly, starting to loot the body. "You stay there and catch your breath, we need clues on where these guys came from. Bounties on all of the major teacher's heads are not good at all."
Altara gulped and nodded. "Okay.." He faced the bar, the bartender slowly stood up and looked around.
"Y-You two need to leave.." He said nervously, still shaking.
Hugo ignored him and Altara looked at Hugo, before staring down at the bar after seeing him ignore the bartender.
Hugo soon finished looting the bodies and motioned Altara to follow him, walking out the club.
They got back to the car and Hugo sat in the driver's seat. In his hand was a piece of paper with a picture of Hugo on it and another piece of paper with some coordinates, underneath some jagged writing:
MEET ME HERE WITH CONFIRMATION OF HIS DEATH.
Hugo shook his head. "Idiots." He then leaned over to the satnav and typed the coordinates into it, giving the papers to Altara who looked at them. Hugo started to drive out of the city.
"They left some coordinates?" Altara looked confused, looking at Hugo.
"They did. They obviously have a big ego thinking that they will fail no matter what otherwise they would be scared to put their damn location on a piece of paper." Hugo chuckled. "Also..." He looked at Altara. "You doing okay? You know you seemed pretty out of it after the fight in the club."
Altara coughed slightly and put the papers on the dashboard. "I've never been in a fight before, and my first ever fight involving me cutting someone's hand off?..."
"Oh, right. Yeah, that makes sense." Hugo looked back at the road. "Sorry for getting you involved, but uh, thanks for saving me from getting shot."
"No no, it was my choice." Altara looked at Hugo with a weak smile.
Hugo looked at Altara and gave him a smile back.
