The three were led to an office inside the prison. The walk to the office was rather long. On the way there Altara would look in every single cell to see if Konstantine was in any of them, but his efforts were useless.
The two wolven guards closed the door behind the three who were now in black handcuffs, standing in an office that had black bricks lined with red both on the walls, floor, and ceiling. There were various firearms on the wall right to the three, on the left were cryptic religious paintings that had inverted colors. At the end of the room was a desk in front of a large window, sitting at it was a man in a red suit and pants, whose shoes were black. He slowly looked up at the three, his marked wolven face keeping a lazy yet somehow concentrated look at them. His eyes were brown and his hair was black with only a slight fringe. He stood up and walked in front of the three cuffed men.
"Hm. So it was you three that took care of our contacts in Homstala..." The wolven said, his voice was low and menacing.
Hugo kept his eyes locked onto the wolven's. "It was only me. The other two weren't involved in that."
Kry and Altara looked at Hugo in shock, Altara then cleared his throat and looked at the wolven. "He's lying. I was involved as well."
Hugo looked at Altara with a face that said you idiot, the wolven looked at the two before slowly walking back at his desk, pouring himself a glass of scotch.
"Well, either way, I have an offer for all three of you."
The three quickly looked at the wolven, who spoke once more.
"The Wolven Empire could use people like you. Ones that have taken down a criminal organization with only two men, ones that have survived an attack by one of the Braveye users, ones that are strong with magik."

"Braveye?"
Kry asked, his eyes expanding.
"That must have been-"
"It was what Krow used, the masked man that was assigned to kill you...until plans changed to this." The wolven interrupted.
Hugo looked at Kry. "What is it? What's a Braveye?"
Kry looked at the floor. "I am not quite sure myself, but I have heard of them...that they're magikal techniques that only those chosen can use."
Altara kept quiet, only listening.
Hugo furrowed his brow before looking up at the wolven again. "But about your offer..."
The wolven kept his glass of scotch in his hand, listening to Hugo.
"...We decline, harshly."
Hugo started to walk out, Altara quickly looked over his shoulder at Hugo as he started to leave, before turning fully around to his teacher. Kry then shouted out. "Hugo! Don't be so bloody mindless!"
Hugo stopped in his tracks, staring at the wooden door as he responded after a moment of silence. "What? You would rather work for these war seeking mongrels? I consider that more mindless." Hugo waited for a response, still staring at the door.
"They will soon kill us if we decline, and we won't be able to even get a chance to find Konstantine. You don't want that, none of us do." Kry said, turning to him. Altara nodded in agreement, speaking afterward. "Hugo, please stay." He walked a few steps forward.
Hugo heard Altara walk slightly closer and closed his eyes, remembering when he took Altara in that day as he was walking out the doors to the Tower of Magik. He slowly walked back in line, the other two smiling slightly.
"Hm. So you accept?" The commander asked, sipping his scotch.
"We do." Kry simply answered.
The wolven grinned. "Good..good. You will not just be working for us, you will be working to be apart of the Kalamitus, an elite group of agents. Krow is apart of them, so I am sure you and him will be working together here and there..heheh."

Hugo simply glared at the wolven. "It would be nice to have a name from our recruiter."
"Lurk, Kaptain Lurk."
He responded, the doors behind them opening as two guards walked in.
"Take them back to their cells..."
He then looked at the three, sitting down at his desk.
"...Your training starts tomorrow."
The three were soon escorted out, Lurk's face forming into a frown as he stood up, walking to the window behind him and dialing someone on his phone.
"Keep a good eye on them for me. They are definitely planning something."
...
As they were being escorted back Kry spoke quietly to Hugo next to him. "I hope you realize that I wasn't being serious. We are going to use this as an opportunity to get into the government."
Hugo simply kept walking, giving Kry a quick look. "Hm, yeah, I know."
Altara suddenly stopped walking, one of the guards shoving him with his gun. "Keep moving."
Hugo stopped and looked over his shoulder at Altara who stumbled slightly before speaking, looking up at the ceiling. "You didn't hear that from above?"
Hugo looked down up at the ceiling, his eyes slowly widening. "No...but I feel it..."
Kry looked at Hugo, who nodded. "I do too..."
"...I can now..." Altara said.
"HYAAAAAAAH!"
Hugo summoned a crystal helmet on his head which he used to headbutt one of the guards, shattering the helmet and the guard's face. The guard fell onto the floor as Kry dragged the three's cuffs apart with his gravity. Once free Kry used his gravity to pull the other guard's shotgun out of his hand which landed in Altara's hand. Altara panicked for a second before swiftly shooting the shotgun at the guard's leg, blowing it off. The ricochet from the blast caused Altara to fall back into the arms of Hugo, who stood him up straight. The guard was passed out on the floor. Altara saw this and slowly walked up to the guard, realizing he had a wedding ring on his finger. He was woken up from his brief trance by Hugo, pulling him away and running.
"Keep the shotgun! We've gotta get outta the prison!"
Hugo shouted as the three started to run through the metal hallway.
"Someone must've busted the Kanceller. What was it that you heard, Altara?" Kry asked as they turned a corner, leading to more cells.
"A-An explosion, then a thud." Altara said nervously, keeping the shotgun close to him.
Kry suddenly stopped as an alarm sounded throughout the prison. "Gh, we've gotta find an exit and fast!"
..But before they could run anymore a group of guards in red and black riot gear had formed a line in front of them at the end of the hallway.
"Dammit..." Hugo formed a shield and stood in front of the other two. Altara looked at Hugo. "The plan we used at Eternal Chrome's base isn't going to work!"
Before Hugo could answer the door behind the guards exploded open, the guards themselves flying forwards becoming either dead or unconscious.
A figure walked out from the now destroyed exit...
