《DarkVoid: The God of Death》3

He paid his attention back to the demon. Even though he couldn’t see it, he knew that its patience was running thin. “I was only taking a nice break nothing more nothing less.” he casually said
Just as he thought, it's patience was very thin as it added more pressure to his head, which caused him to flinch.
“There are no breaks in Hell!” The fiend moved Its right hand a bit, uncovering Jon’s left eye. Now he was able to see what he was dealing with here. He tried to get a glimpse of its full body, but due to his limited point of view, he could only see its head.
It wasn’t a big deal to Jon; the head was all he needed to be able to guess the size of the rest of the body, just like any other demon he had encountered. They were all similar from head to toe.
From the looks of it, the demon had rough, charcoal black skin. Now, Jon wasn’t entirely basing it on looks alone, the large hand on his head felt sharp enough to slice the skin off. So, he presumed the rest of his body was also this same texture.
What surprised him the most was his head, to him it resembled a skull of a human, but not entirely as there were some noticeable differences. One of these differences was the medium sized horns with some minor cracks that protruded out of its head.
Another was that his eye sockets didn’t have any eyeballs whatsoever; he only saw black, like the eyes of a skull, and the nose was a small nasal bone. The last thing that Jon was able to see was an angry expression directed at him where its mouth showed rows of sharp teeth.
Just the way it looked plus the way it acted, he knew that he had to be cautious with this demon, but at the same time, deep in his mind, he wanted to see where this would lead.
“Look you fuck face motherfucker I’m giving myself a break here because I’ve been working myself very hard since I’ve been here. So, let me rest just for a little while, then I’ll do my punishment for another 300 years. Is that alright with you?” He tried his best to be calm, but anger was evident in his voice.

Just like any other demon, it didn’t take this lightly as it added even more pressure to his head, which Jon groaned at this pain.
“What did you call me mortal!? I don’t think you know who you are dealing with here." It lifted its other hand to tighten it into a fist, "I am Terik the second strongest demon there is, behind the God of Sin of course!”
Terik lifted him slowly until he was eye level with Jon, “So, show me some respect sinful mortal.”
Anger was slowly seeping inside of him, but he stayed calmed and spoke, “Oh, so you want respect? Okay, let me give you some respect.” He spat in Terik’s left eye.
“ARGH YOU DISGUSTING MORTAL!” Terik forcefully threw Jon a couple of feet away onto the rocky ground.
On the receiving end, Jon landed on the ground face first with a couple of bones broken from the fall, he struggled to stand up, but as he did, he felt an immense headache. Most likely caused by the constant pressure added to his head.
“Ow my fucking head!” he said in discomfort as he rubbed his temple, “To be honest, I'm kinda surprised that even worked.”
Enduring the throbbing pain, he turned his head to gaze at Terik, and to say the least, Terik was a demon he should not have been messing with.
Terik had massive, lengthy arms that would most likely be able to destroy a volcanic rock in one single blow; his massive legs were just as, if not lengthier than his arms, they made him around 7 feet tall.
Just as he thought, the rest of his body had that rough rocky texture, with his chest having large black scars etched into it. His feet were like that of a human, but with much sharper nails. His hands were the same.
“How dare you spit your disgusting filth in my eye!”
“Quit whining. You don’t even have eyeballs, so I don’t fucking know how that even hurt, to begin with.”
“It’s not that it hurts, it's more the fact that a mortal of sin disrespected me by spitting in my eye! For that, I’m going to break every single one of your bones like a toy.”

“Psh I’m not afraid of you nor your race. Do whatever you want to me, but I’m not going to kiss your ass and let you give me orders.”
“Is that so?” Terik cracked his neck and bulged up his muscles even more, “Then I’ll be happy to reinforce that fear back!” Terik walked towards Jon with a red aura slowly surrounding him, which made him more intimidating to look at.
However, Terik wasn’t what he worried about the most. The suffering he was going to have to endure was what bothered him. It was never the aggressors that scared him. It was their cruel methods that made him want to scream. Even though he tried his best too not show, deep down, he wanted to yell every time he felt the worst of pains.
The only feeling he ever felt besides anger was the pain. It was all he had ever known. But what hurt him the most was seeing people getting tortured, their screams of agony haunted him. Each time he closed his eyes he could hear their cries, resonating in his mind, their faces all showed true anguish that he never wanted to experience.
But of course, he had. He experienced those terrible methods. He was once like them. A weak-minded individual, but as he was continuously tortured, his mind became stronger each time he suffered. With the help of Void, never again would he be a weakling.
He now had a new-found commitment, never to let hell or the pain of suffering get the better of him. To not let these demons, get the benefit of seeing him in torturous pain.
He nervously stared at the red aura surrounding the angry demon as he thought, “Never again you motherfucker. I don’t care how big or strong you are. I won’t give in.”
As Terik continued to get closer to the second, Jon stood his ground, “Hm maybe, this is a good time to intervene Void.”
”Heheh, I’ll wait a little longer until the good part starts.”
“And when’s that?!”
“Soon enough... heheh.”
Jon sighed at Voids incompliance to help, “Well I expected that.” He reluctantly limped his way towards his aggressor, “I’m not going to let fear overrule me.”
Stopping 5 feet away from Terik, the size difference between the two was instantly noticeable. Terik’s overall body structure dwarfs Jon’s in comparison, who was only 5’11 with a fatigued body.
He stared into the pair of black eyes that bore into his mind.
“I must admit mortal. You got guts to stand in front of me without any fear.”
“It ain’t guts. I just have bigger balls than you.” Not waiting any moment, Terik launched a surprising punch to his gut that made Jon crouch to knee level as he wrapped his arms around himself.
He coughed up large amounts of blood until he struggled to slowly look back at Terik with a half smirk, “Hah what kind of a pussy punch was that.” He said still out of breath.
Again, Terik pounded at his face for 5 seconds until Jon had fallen to the ground. Blood was seeping out from his nostrils, ear canals, mouth, and eyes. His face was so unrecognizable that he could’ve been mistaken for a corpse.
Blood was clogged up in his ear. He couldn’t hear anything, only his thoughts. “This pain… I’ve put up with it for so long, and yet I can’t do anything to stop it...” Anger was swelling within him, but he knew he couldn’t act on it, not in this condition.
“I don’t want to feel… any more pain...But at least I didn’t give it that benefit…” His eyes slowly closed as he struggled to keep them open, but before he went out, he heard Void’s voice one last time.
“The good part starts… Now.”

Reborn as a DRAGON
My name is Tim, or it was until I died. There was no light at the end of the tunnel, no white room to choose any cheats from, nor was there any meeting with God. I didn’t die heroically while saving someone, and I certainly didn’t get hit by a truck. My death was rather stupid and anticlimactic, I had apparently bumped my head while sleeping and passed away... That should have been the end of the road for me, but like many self-proclaimed main characters, I joined the army of multi-dimensional travelers and was reincarnated. Being an avid light novel and manga reader, I would have been excited about the opportunity, if not for my new siblings, who tried to kill me as soon as I was born, or for my mother, who seemed to have a thing for throwing me off cliffs. And let’s not forget my murderous father, who forced me to flatten a small country as my Rite of passage. Oh, did I mention I was reborn as a Dragon?
