-Ari and Miyu head to Dr. Geoffrey's class. As they teleport(Ari is getting used to it but still feels nauseous) Ari tells Miyu about the drama in Mr. Toadler’s class-

(A) They said I might have to participate in this competition because i'm technically a student! But I would have no chance! The principal is crazy if they make me do it.

(M) hm… I think I know one of the reasons why the principal might decide to let you join. The first couple tests are group tests and there is no fighting. However, after the second that's when the fighting starts to get your place in the ranks. The two beginning tests are just to weed out the weak.

(A) I am weak. What's the point?! I'm going to die and I haven’t even gone outside of this little town!

-Ari continues to fret while they walk into the hut. The squawking ‘animals’ alerted Dr. G that Ari and Miyu were here-

-Dr Geoffrey pops up from a pile of potion bottles-

(Dr G) Girls it is an exciting day! A day that will go in the history books. Ari are you ready?”

-Ari nods-

(A-inner mono) I’m nervous but I want a taste of power, even if it’s for a second

(Dr G) okay, this is my first time having a human try my potions, let alone a potion that gives you abilities. Ari, thank you.

-Are nods again. Miyu goes and grabs the bottles they both prepared. There were 4 bottles. Each of the individual bottles were also filled with liquid of different shades of soft neon blue-

-They head outside the hut and walk a distance away just in case-

(Dr G) Okay Ari, you can pick to start -gestures towards potions-

-Miyu looks super excited and gives Ari a thumbs up. Ari picks up the darkest neon blue colored potion bottle and unscrews the lid off. It didn’t really smell like anything which relieved her. The potion was clear, no sediments, just a strange color. Ari looks up from the potion and she can see dr g and miyu looking at her expectantly-

(A-inner mono) you got this!

-The potion bottle wasn’t big but more like a shot. She takes it quickly, a bit scared. It didn’t really taste like anything but it had this sandy texture to it-

-Nothing happens-

(Dr G) ...

(M)...

(A) ..?

(A) !!!! Guys I think I'm feeling it! Something is burning like fire throughout my body!

(Dr G) -excited- like fire? Cold flames or hot flames? What was the taste like? Does it make you feel dizzy?

(M) -concerned, checking Ari- Her vitals are fine

(A) Uhh…

-Ari sprints accross to the trees and vomits neon blue liquid

(M) ....

-Miyu runs to help Ari, she pats Aris back until she’s done barfing-

(Dr G) -walking up to the girls- Well I guess I put too much mana in that batch, I should’ve known humans can’t handle this stuff.

-Ari wipes her mouth and is dizzy. However she is determined and grabs the 2nd bottle and takes a quick shot. They all wait and Ari’s stomach now starts rumbling. She couldn’t help but feel embarrassed-

-Ari was about to speak but it hit her, the need to vomit. This time she didn’t have enough time to run and barf but instead she barfed right there-

(M) ARI!!!

(Dr G) -confused but not paying much attention to Ari- I wonder why this isnt working

(Dr G) -softly- Ari the last two ones have less magic mixed in, do you think you can still continue?

-Ari groans in protest but nods that she can do it. She worked too hard yesterday for this not to work! She took another vial and felt very heavy. She fell onto the ground struggling to get up-

(Dr G) this one seems to be working a bit! The earth is pulling you to the ground instead of you pulling it up which is a problem...

-Ari just face plants into the dirt and gave up trying to struggle and just laid there. Miyu is squatted next to Ari patting her back. After 20 minutes the effect wears off and Ari, as if she was out of her mind, drank the last vial-

-They all waited tensely, Ari felt something rumble in her stomach and warmth spreading through her body-

(M) Ari… is it working? You look fine. :/ Yes, this seems to be the one tha-

****Burp****

-Ari unleashed the loudest burp, it sounded like a roar and she couldn't stop herself. It lasted an embarrassing 30 seconds and she thought she was gonna throw up by the end of it-

(Dr G) -sighs- Nevermind

-The next second they all hear a crash and then a noise like someone was dying-

(Everyone) ...?

-The look over at a distant willow tree and see a small figure rolling on the ground laughing till tears came out. It kinda looked like he was crying-

(Kid) BWHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHA

-He was holding his stomach and rolling around dying of laughter-

(Dr G) -as if he knows who it is right away, he marches over- What are you doing here?

-The kid doesn’t answer but on his back he just continues laughing and then points at Ari

(Kid) That... ahahahha... you deserved that!.... hahahhshahah.... the look on your face!.... hahaha.. so ugly... hahaha”

-If Ari wasn’t weak from all the potion drinking she would’ve grabbed a branch from the tree and would’ve started beating up this rascal. Instead Ari just gave him death glares which made him laugh even more-

(M) Lets head back, Dr G will deal with this

(A-inner mono) oh that brat is goi to get it

(Dr G) Kintaro, I told you not to come on this island unless you are in my class -sighs-

(Kint) Aww come on, this is the only place where there is literally no one, it's a good place to take a nap

-Ari hears this literal remark and she is irked passed her limit but miyu has an iron grip on her so she can’t turn around-

(Dr G) I warned you before, but honestly I will tell Principal Volkov, I don’t think your family would want that

(Kint) -shrugged- I mean what can they do, stop me? Ya right

-in a blink Kintaro teleported infront of Ari with a smug face-

(A) (╬ಠ益ಠ)

(Kint) Look at you, you look pathetic -snickers- I’ll be the gentleman and allow you to apologize to me about our incident yesterday. You caused me a lot of problems. Unforgivable!

-He stops Miyu in her tracks and Dr G is hurriedly running to catch up to them. Ari is silent. She looks into Kintaros eyes, her face is messy, stained hair patchy and vomit stuck on her shirt, there is blue drool coming out of her mouth. Kintaro couldn’t hold it in and started bawling laughing again by just looking at her-

(A) ...

-With her hand she wipes the blue drool that was coming out unintentionally and flicked it over to kintaro-

(Kint) !!!!!! How dare you get your disgusting germs-

(A) You’re diaper is more disgusting than this!

-Miyu and Ari walk past him and Dr G catches up-

(Kint) If it wasn't for the rules, I would’ve killed you! Do you know who I am!? A mere huma like you has no chance!

-Ari ignores him and continues walking to the hut. He runs to catch up with her-

(Kint) why are you so mean!

(A-inner mono) I am so lucky that my younger brother is at boarding school. It would be hell with him around.

-Ari continues on ignoring Kintaro, he starts fuming-

(Kint) Don’t ignore me!!!

Ari reaches the hut, opens the door, she is greeted by the squawking of the unspeakable creatures. She finds her little back pack and puts it on. Kintaro comes in fuming and ranting, Ari just ignores it-

(A-inner mono) where is a fly swatter when you need one.

-Dr G walks into the hut and Ari walks up to him still ignoring Kintaru-

(A) Dr Geoffrey, can I go back to the dorms? I’m not feeling well, sorry I know it’s not my place to leave but I don’t think it will be good for my mental health to be around this thing glares towards Kintaro-

-Dr G is taken aback but nods-

(Dr G) Miyu take Ari, Kintaro, you stay

-Kintaru kicks Ari in the back but she feels nothing (she doesn't give a shit) and he’s a kid and she has a backpack on.

(Kint) No >:( Im leaving now, she needs to be punished!

-Dr G grabs kintaros collar, when it looked like he was gonna escape Ari turned around with a menacing stare-

(A) can you shut up and listen to your elders

-Kintaro stops in his tracks startled. Ari walks out with miyu and leaves the island. Kintaro is taken aback by the brashness this human showed him-

(Dr G) Kintaro, give her a break, do you know how hard it is for a human to come up here? The magic level is intense and she is barely handling the pressure. Go annoy some else.

(Kint) but she should know not to treat people like that! She’s insane for a human! How dare she throw me off the island!!!

(Dr G) off the island?! You were here yesterday?!

(Kimt) -realized he slipped up- hahaha.. no I wasn’t I’m just saying things

(Dr G) What did you do to them!? I knew that the runic bark was off...!!!”

(Kint) I didn’t do anything! I might’ve stolen it but they caught me! I didn’t have enough time to poison it!

-Kintaro realizes he’s spilled the beans once again-

(Dr G) -squeezing his temples- Kintaro.... let’s go to the principal's office now!

(Kint) wait wait!

-Ari and Miyu arrived at their dorm, the plants tried to make fun of her but Ari was not in the mood. She glared at them and they shriveled behind Miyu-

(M) Ari why don’t you lay down, it's been a long day…

-Ari grunts, drops her backpack and faceplants onto her bed, she is too lazy to change or wash up. The plants slowly inch up to Ari with the permission of Miyu. They gently take off her socks and put a light blanket on her. Ari allows this to happen because she could care less, she’ll thank Miyu and the plants later but right now she is done with life-

-Miyu sits down on her bed, she looks over at Ari and can’t help but feel horrible-

(M) Ari, i’m so sorry! I didn’t know it was going to be like this.. You don’t have to do it again or be my friend

(A) groans and doesn’t lift up her face but mumbles- Miyu, don’t say sorry. It was my decision

-Miyu is about to fret to Ari, but she stops because she can clearly see Ari’s aura is not in the mood. Her plants are also quivering behind her-

(A) U-um Ari… I know you're tired but I should warn you about Kintaro…

-Just by hearing that name Ari is irked. Her face is still on the bed but her aura changed from tired to angry instantly. She doesn’t say anything to stop Miyu, so Miyu takes it as a signal to keep on talking-

(M) Um, well you see Kintaro is from a really affluent family…

(A-inner mono) his brattiness gave that away

(M) He is actually the son of the Dragon family… well… when it comes to strength.. Um… they are a part of the 7 legacies… which… um falls under the rank of titan -Miyu looks at the ground, scared to see Ari’s reaction-

-Ari just layed on her bed silently for a while. Then she let out a long and sad groan. She then mumbled-

(A) That brat kid!? Ugh! Of course, in mangas there is always that one arrogant ass who turns out to be from a powerful family. I just didn’t think it would be a puny brat! I am in sooo much trouble Miyu….

(M) don’t worry Ari, Kintaro isn’t the type to bring in the admin or do anything. He doesn’t like attention.

(A) -Ari lets out an angry scream- He isn’t the type who loves attention!? From what I can tell, that's all he wants! I can still hear him screaming right now! You know what Miyu, i hope he kills me because i fucking hate this world.

(M) -taken aback- Ari what are you saying! Don’t say things like that! It’s not good for you, he won’t do anything I promise you! If something does happen then I will take the blame because I didn’t tell you sooner!

(A) -sighs(still face planted on her bed)- Miyu, don’t. I will be responsible for my actions. I can’t let that little twerp get the upper hand.

Next day in Dr Geoferry’s class

(Dr G) today we have a new student joining us. Under principal Volkov’s order Kintaro must join our class as punishment for him. Honestly I don't think it is punishment, but due to your rank kintaro it must be embarrassing.

-Kintaro is just a ball of anger, blushing because he’s embarrassed by Dr. Geoffery’s remark-

(Kint) This is stupid!

-Ari is standing with Miyu silent. Her soul has left her body-
