Taking a look behind me from running i saw Dave.

[Avion: Dave good job on plan C, code name Tactical Retreat]

Dave nodded, his flames expanding and compressing as if he was out of breath.

[Avion: Dave, do you breath and if so how do you breath?]

Dave tilted his head a little, looking as if i said something silly, he pointed towards his eyes,

[Dave: Life flame, it needs air]

I nodded to myself having a, oh so thats how it works face, but after the smal distraction i thought back to how that gang of 5 people were waiting on me and Dave meaning that they wanted to kill us.

Cold anger surfaced within me, thinking to myself,

If that is how you want to play it then so be it, lets play this game

I fell into deep thought afterwards i gave Dave a look and asked him if he wanted to go look for any other monster who could possibly join our group, Dave agreed thinking it would be fun to have more friends on the team.

And so another week passes within that time we encountered the group again, we fought a bit after which Dave raised his cloak to block their view and i threw a dagger and we did a tactical retreat again.

In between the week we also found two more compatriots willing to join our cause of joint friendship to prevail over the evil forces of this world.

-Merchant piety(Active) : if used, enemy and ally alike will hesitate to do anything if level is lower the effect is greater , if the level is higher the effect will be reduced to a certain extent.

-Tortures sadism (Active) : Able to injure enemy and gain health back slowly through stimulated senses.

-Psuedo Hero Call (Passive): Able to encourages others on the outlook while being scared as shit on the inside.

-Exchange: Able to swap items of same value with others, consent not needed.

Description: A cat who has learned the way of a good hustle.

Together the lonely group now looked less lonely and more pathetic than ever, having a skeleton with gray cloak walking infront as vanguard, shady cat strategist in the middle, a slime with a fabulous mustache on the side and a sagely looking young man at the back.

Together they marched forward encountering evil after evil (monsters)

They killed and plundered groups of singel monsters making themself quite loaded on gear and xp, by the time Avion and Dave reached level 16 and 15, Germo and Kajiel had finally reached level 12 making their stats less pathetic compared to the other two, like this they once again encountered Varus and his Gang of Manipulated minions.

But this time Varus and his crew were the ones being stalked from the shadow, being inspected and looked upon like pray.

When the lonely group attacked varus gang of misfits, Varus was suprised or so he acted in synchronization they jumped to the side making the lonely group enter into a whole then a magic shield and Varus laughed his as of telling them how he made them enter a hidden dungeon with a boss monster in it, to say it softly a lot of curses were thrown at the mentally unstable Varus, but he dint care and told them to have fun and walked away and so the crew stood there in complete silence...

[Avion: shit, Kajiel you have any ideas?]

Kajiel hit the shield a couple of times then licked it, thought and said

[Kajiel: the only way to get out is by making someone of atleast level 20 perform magic break, i hate to be the bearer of bad news but we need to do this :/ ]

Avion first looked at Kajiel with a understanding gaze and looked at the two others, Dave could not care less but stil gave a simple nod and Germo just jumped up and down making his bouncing mustache look quite dashing.

Avion closed his eyes like a wise sage about to say something

[Avion: All right, like all cliques i should probably say some things, its gonna be dangerous its gonna be epic, this is a once in a life time adventure together, he he lets go gang!]

By the time he opened his eyes he could see Kajiel and Germo already walking and Dave stood halfway patiently waiting on Avion.

"Great..."

Avion and Dave caught up with the other two, together they marched on after some time they finally arrived at dome shaped cave, infront of them stood a 3 meter lizardman with slighty bulky body and sharp glare, at the front was Kajiel with his arms crossed looking unperturbed by the cold gaze of the lizardman, Kajiel gaze was also extremely calm and sharp as if could cut someone in two just by the glance of it, trully a shocking scene to behold, Cat and Lizardman what a glorious happening.

At the back the three others looked on thinking how epic, but if they knew Kajiel thought right now they would not be looking on in admiration but shiting their pants from the laughter they would be having.

Avion looked at the lizardman, its stats showed up to him

Name: Calsion the Colosseum lizardman champion

Job: Colosseum Champion, Boss monster of Maroth Dungeon

Description: Captured and enslaved Calsion people were taken to be used, Calsion has been traded several times in his life time and eventually ended up in the Dungeon of Maroth as hidden boss.

And so the battle started,Kajiel used merchant piety distracting the lizardman while Dave used Tempest Blade as usual, the lizardman has swift reflexes but even it did not expect to be hit with a burst of a combo, the blade swiftness coming at was already allot but coupled with the distracting gaze of the merchant cat it was deadly to say the least.

The lizardman deflected the blade at the last second, while it was busy deflecting Dave blade, the perverted mustache slime Germo used this oppertunity to sneak up on it from behind and use his skill Puddle, Kajiel also dint sit still after shitting himself.

Kajiel used Dave as jumping board and activated his skill tortures Sadism, this all happened within a short time, the lizardman was suprised and took a step back to collect himself, but when he did he stepped into his dooming end known as Germo Puddle of doom tactic.

The lizardman known as Calsion slipped backwards while being able to just barely deflect Kajiel Claws but when he did, he had the shit luck of losing the grip on his blade, the blade plunged into the left side of the lizardman chest making him go into cardiac arrest.

In the groupchat a message appeared for the first time in a while,

[System: Ding, Kajiel the shady cat merchant activated luck mechanism]

For the first time in a while everyone was silent just looking at the monster known as Kajiel and his luck of being able to make the opponent go into Cardiac Arrest.

Avion also made a mental note

[Avion: Germo use Choke!]

Germo did as told and chocked him to death, afterwards we sat on the ground taking a breathing, eventhough it happened so fast it still drained all of us mentally and fiscally.

After having gained enough rest we all noticed something in the party chat,

[System: Ding, you have all defeated a high level enemy together, Dave party leader please choose reward pack one, two or three]

We talked about it for a bit and decided on pack two which three level up per party member it also has gear, skill book and Job book of lizardman which required 10 agility

The distribution was as follows, the gear aka the shoes, chesplate, helmet and shoulder pads, Kajiel and Dave would share, the skill named iron fist i got, to teach it to everyone later on and Germo got the Job book which would allow him to finally gain a job.

After doing all that we decided to camp the night in the cave to gain some rest and you never know if the enemy would be outside, so staying in was the safest option for now.
