Chapter 13: Tragedy of Stone Village
Village Chief Shamix’s expression turned sour after hearing Cool Breeze’s words.
Elder Stanley by his side began to mutter. “It’s all over, we’ve offended a prince of the Demonic Cult Crew. These savages only need a small reason to kill.”
“The people of the village are innocent..” Village Chief Shamix spoke up before being interrupted.
“Hahaha, innocent? So what if they’re innocent or not? This place is simply a nest for trash. Yet not only did you think about killing this prince. Your shitty people insulted, and even tossed trash on this prince.” Cool Breeze smiled indifferently. He already set his mind on exterminating this village, and nothing could cause him to waver!
“Damned brat. Our Stone Village won’t just roll over and die for you!” The third elder who was in charge of the Elite Village Guards suddenly bellowed in rage.
“Guards, raise your weapons! Although our Stone Village might not be the strongest, we still have our pride! These are men, not gods!”
The elder raised his battle axe, he furiously rushed towards Cool Breeze. He truly despised the arrogance of this brat.
“Charge!” The elder shouted out. The guards who stood around the arena only hesitated for a moment. With the elder leading the charge, the guards who lost their will to fight, suddenly felt a fire lit up in their chest.
Cool Breeze smirked, he waved his hand at Dark Eyes.
“Oh, by the way, even if Dark Eyes wasn’t here I wouldn’t need to fear any of you.” White energy began to gather around Cool Breeze’s body as he spoke.
When the elder was ten meters away from Cool Breeze. Cool Breeze swiped his finger down, unleashing a thin wind strike.
The speed of the strike was unbelievably fast. The elder held his battle axe defensively only a moment before the strike reached him.
“It’s pointless to resist.” Cool Breeze smiled.
The wind strike went through the battle axe then slashed the Elder in two. All while Cool Breeze spoke.
“See?” Cool Breeze began to swipe his finger in all directions around him. With each swipe another wind strike was shot out. They all were accurately aimed at the charging guards who had yet to react.
In only a moment everyone who watched the scene felt their hearts chill.
The group of guards who just barley started their charge was all cleanly sliced into two. They landed onto the floor with pools of blood surrounding them.
Not only was the crowd of villagers shocked. Even Raven and Blacky were left in awe. Blacky suddenly remembered all the times he teased Breezy. He thanked the gods that they were on the same side.

Village Chief Shamix began to laugh bitterly. These people were the elite of Stone Village. Most of them were at the late stages of the Spiritual Warrior realm. The elder was only second compared to himself. Yet they were all slaughtered without any chance of fighting back. With that their Stone Village was more or less finished.
“Dark Eyes, this isn’t even satisfying. End it.” Cool Breeze disdainful voice was heard.
“Yes prince.” Dark Eyes who was standing by the side began to fly up into the sky.
The stunned onlookers watched how the mighty Mortal King flew into the air. Something they could only dream of. There were also a few people who began to run away in terror. However Dark Eyes didn’t mind.
Black clouds began to emit out of Dark Eyes’ body. They quickly shrouded the area around him. His figure was just barely visible.
“Darkness come!” Dark Eyes spoke as his hands reached out.
A dark sphere of energy began to gather above his palms. The sphere was only a foot long in diameter. Yet the moment it appeared, all of the people around the arena sensed a change in their surroundings.
Even villagers outside the arena began to notice that dark clouds began to gather above the arena. They couldn’t exactly tell what the clouds were for. All they felt was fear.
Dark Eyes closed his eyes then clapped his hands together. The dark clouds which were gathered around him began to tremble.
“Thousand Needles of Darkness, annihilation!” Dark Eyes’ ghoulish voice was frightening. It roared throughout the entirety of Stone Village.
“Fall!” Dark Eyes opened his eyes which emitted frightening dark light.
The dark clouds began to shoot out small particles, similar to rain. Their speed was frighteningly fast. Even Raven, an Elemental Warrior couldn’t see any of the particles.
A moment passed and Elder Stanley fell onto his knees, as he saw the destruction which befell the arena. “This… Something like this.. Jayson..”
Village Chief Shamix saw no life around him. Dead, everyone was dead other than, Janna, Clarke, Stanley and himself. Even Jayson the grandson of Elder Stanley, his family members, the villagers.. They all were all lying around lifeless.
Village Chief Shamix began to laugh bitterly. There was simply nothing he could do, nor understand. If he could go back in time he would’ve never offended Cool Breeze.
Of course that was impossible.
Cool Breeze laughed as he saw Shamix’s reaction.
“You’ll torture this prince?” A flaming white sword appeared in Cool Breeze’s hands as he spoke.
“This sword is called, Flames Horizon. It’s a sword created for a Celestial to use. I don’t expect you to understand though, so I’ll explain it to you simply.” Cool Breeze spoke with a playful grin.

“When one is killed by this sword, not only will they die in body, they will also die in soul. And it’s a type of suffering that none can withstand.” Cool Breeze’s eyes shone with viciousness.
All of the remaining people suddenly felt a chill when they heard Cool Breeze’s words.
Cool Breeze used a high level movement technique. He appeared by Janna and Clarke’s side who were watching everything in a daze.
“Don’t worry. I haven’t forgotten about you two siblings! Haha, old dog, watch what happens when you fuck with me!” Cool Breeze stabbed out twice with the Flame Horizon in his hands.
Cool Breeze stabbed Janna and Clarke’s stomach. The strike couldn’t be considered fatal, but they both fell onto the floor holding onto their wound.
“Ahh!” Janna and Clarke both began screaming in pain.
Village Chief Shamix had no chance to react. He appeared by his children side in panic.
“It hurts..” Janna whimpered as tears dripped down her face.
Clarke was in no better position, he cried as he held onto his head with both of his hands. “Kill me! Kill me! Kill me please!” Clarke howled out in pain.
“Bahahahaha, what do you think, oh great leader of trash?” Cool Breeze laughed wildly on the side.
“You brat, you’re simply a devil. One day you will definitely be punished by the heavens..” Village Chief Shamix pulled out a dagger from a small pouch with his trembling hands.
“What a load of shit? What heavens? In this world there are only the strong and the weak.” Cool Breeze snorted. He slashed out twice with the Flames Horizon.
Village Chief Shamix’s arms were both slashed off. Blood began to pour out of the wound.
“Haha, did you plan on ending their misery for them? Did you think I’ll simply let you?” Cool Breeze was like a little demon. He smiled as he saw Shamix falling into despair.
Janna and Clarke on the side began to lose their voices from all their howling. They visibly began to age. Both of their hair had become grey, wrinkles covered their face. They, who were only young, appeared like elderly people reaching the end of their lives.
Village Chief Shamix appeared to have a stronger soul. He watched everything with tears in his eyes, feeling completely powerless.
Cool Breeze snorted in disdain. His cold gaze landed on Elder Stanley.
Stanley felt a chill run through his body. He picked up his sword, and then ruthlessly stabbed himself. He saw the torture which Janna, Clarke and Shamix went through. He simply didn’t want to be a part of it.
Cool Breeze smiled faintly, feeling quite good about himself.
“Fuck you!” Village Chief Shamix could no longer endure the pain as he raged in anger.
“Haha, how pitiful, both of them have already died!” Cool Breeze laughed in reply.
Village Chief Shamix crumbled onto the floor. He laid in front of the lifeless bodies of Janna and Clarke.
Blacky simply couldn’t comprehend what was going on. In front of his eyes, thousands upon thousands had lost their lives. The family of the Village Chief all seemed to grow old in only an instant. Their screams were truly haunting.
Village Chief Shamix’s hair had all fallen out. The Village Chief which was looked up by countless people met a miserable end.
Cool Breeze then turned to smile at Blacky.
Blacky felt chills run up his spine. He couldn’t believe that Cool Breeze slaughtered so many people, all while smiling and laughing. Cool Breeze surely thought of human life as a joke.
“You’re not afraid are you?” Cool Breeze continued to smile as he walked towards Blacky.
Blacky awkwardly returned a smile before he spoke. “Hahaha.. Of course not.. I only look up to young master.”
“Is that so?” Cool Breeze stood in front of Blacky. “But, your heart is beating so fast. Is this the first time you’ve seen so many people die?”
Blacky nodded his head up and down. Of course it was! Something like this wasn’t even imaginable to him.
“Ah. I guess it makes sense considering that you’re also trash from a village.” Cool Breeze began to rub his chin in thought. “I presume you’ll be participating in the tournament at Tifili Village. If you don’t win that tournament, as your master I’ll really be disappointed in you.”
Blacky felt bitter inside as he replied “Yes young master, I’ll definitely win.. For you..”
“Of course you will! If you don’t I’ll have to teach you a lesson as your master.” Cool Breeze grinned as he looked down at Blacky.
Cool Breeze let go of the Flame Horizon sword in his hand, which began to hover in front of him. White Flames erupted around his body. He casually took a step on the sword.
Under Blacky’s stunned eyes Cool Breeze disappeared. There was only a white trail which led into the sky.
Blacky then turned to look at Raven with a questioning gaze.
Raven coughed as he ignored Blacky’s stare.
“Well that mission wasn’t so tough.”

Lone: The Wanderer [Rewrite]
Nine-to-five. The daily grind. Life. Painful years of school. Working as a slave for some undeserving corporate big-wig. The monotonous life of unemployment. We all experience this in one way or another, and we can all conclude one thing: it's dull. Such a fact rings true even for the fabled Lone Immortus, a powerful nine-tailed Golden Foxkin. However, what would you do if your monotony was suddenly ground to a halt and you were thrown out of your comfort zone along with a young girl forgotten by time? Perhaps you might have done things differently, been more organised, immediately died, gained control of the world in a matter of days, but this is Lone's tale, not yours. Watching two insecure people struggle to survive and find their place in an unfamiliar land just might be enjoyable to witness. Who knows? One thing's for certain: it won't be an easy path for them to tread, and what could possibly be more entertaining than watching people endure hardships and grow? I know of at least eight gods that would answer with, 'Absolutely nothing.' I wonder, after seeing this journey from start to finish, how would you answer?
