chapter 22 : Positive Outlook in Life

When both Kim and I finished what we were doing, she suddenly left me with a bad mood.

Dressing up then moving towards the door and calling me an idiot isn't something that I had expected.

Now i'm in our room... alone

But this time i wasn't sad or depressed like i used to.

Remembering how she looked at me and how she called out to my name during that short exchange is beyond my imagination.

This wasn't a dream, it actually happened.

I was ecstatic, i'm so happy right now and I feel like I can destroy a couple of kingdoms and it still wont be enough to compare with the joy that i'm feeling.

Killing bandits was fun and watching them bleed to death but it wasn't like this.

Kim.... Kyaa~ tehehe...

At first I thought that she only loved me as a friend, but this was even better.

I tried to stand up, and follow her out when she left but unfortunately I couldn't feel my legs.

so I decided to rest for a little bit longer.

( I wonder where she got that idea... ) I pondered in my mind.

The thing that Kim made caught me by surprise, it was a two headed dildo... normally I would try to avoid the world of pain that was coming and threatening to take my precious virginity, but her being on top of me was one of the reason why I didn't try to resist.

Don't get me wrong, it hurts when she plugged it in, but after a while the pain receded and I could only feel nothing more but pleasure.

The second reason is because I wanted someone to love me, when she slapped me earlier and said that she hated me I was pulled back by my sad emotions, then I started to feel like I wanted to jump off another building.

However, she was licking my neck and had a flushed face when she said it so I was a bit confused.

so when I noticed that I could now stand up, I picked up my clothes and dressed up.

going down the stairs was a bit difficult and my legs were wobbling but I managed without the other compatriots noticing.

Two of our guests, the ones that I rescued was sitting at the table alongside Lotte and Kim.

Prim was probably still unconscious so it can't be helped, not healing her completely was my choice.

I wouldn't want her to cause problems until all my skills have reseted and become usable.

when I reached the table, I sat down and started to introduce myself to the other two.

" Goodevening. I believe I haven't introduced myself yet, my name is Aria, I was the one that rescued you both, would you be kind enough to tell us your names.

The pink haired girl stood up and took a bow.

" Thank you for saving us back then, uhm... miss Aria... in behalf of our companions who are no longer with us, i offer you my heartfelt gratitude, My name is Reina and the other one is my friend Sylvia.

Judging from their looks and what my gut was telling me, both of them was around 18-20 years old... Reina had long flowing pink hair with a great figure, and Sylvia had brown short hair just above her shoulders, she also had the same hourglass figure just like her friend Reina.

Looking at their large breasts was enough to knock a bit of my self confidence but I didn't let it bother me too much.

Even though my chest size was a bit depressing, atleast I knew I wasn't alone.

Taking a glance at Kim's chest put me at ease and I was back to my usual self.

" I'm glad that your feeling okay despite what happened, again i'm sorry that I couldn't get to you sooner, during that time my hands were a bit tide up, I had to protect an injured companion and escort the rest of my group outside before I could even consider going back to where you both were.

Reina : " Its not your fault, to tell you the truth, if we hadn't moved inside the labyrinth none of this would have ever happened.

I took notice of the other girl named Sylvia, she was awfully quiet and non-responsive, in an attempt to get to know her more, I called out to her.

" how about you miss Sylvia, is everything alright?

she looked at me, a bit of animosity was emanating from her, then she answered...

Sylvia : " Why didn't you save us the first time that your group came and saw that we were greatly outnumbered, with your strength you could have easily dealt with them before those... hik..... sniff... before those monsters were able to rape us...

The girl started to cry, and I tried to ignore the fact that I forgot to change my wet panties before I left our room,

or that I was caressing Kim's legs from under the table without them knowing.

Kim, pinched my hand and my thought began to drift back into the conversation and I replied to her grievance.

" I'm sorry, but both of you were unrelated to us, and I had no obligation to your group whatsoever, but do keep in mind that I did comeback for you, and because of that you are alive, doesn't that count for something?

this is wierd, why am I scolding someone who is older than me, have you no shame...

the girl stopped crying when her friend Reina, held her close and patted her head, and Reina started to speak for the other.

Reina : " I'm really sorry, please forgive her, a lot has happened and one of our beloved person was killed in that battle, she's just... its hard to move on from all of this, especially now that we were the only ones left of our group.

I stopped my train of thought for a moment then gave them a solution to their problem, which I figured would be best for the two.

" Why don't you join my group then?

The two women were surprised at my proposal and quickly tried to decline, however...

" I know what your thinking, but hear me out first, even if you both decide to refuse my offer, don't you think that you girls will be hard pressed with your current situation, I know that you are both members of the guild and have acquired a bit of reputation for yourselves but the thing is... I dont believe other groups will take in two women who are considered nothing more but extra baggage. Realistically speaking, it would be in your greater interest if you both choose to come with me.

the two started looking at me with suspicion and Reina began to speak her mind.

Reina : " What's your reason for wanting to take in two strangers into your group? it would be easy to understand if we had strength that is comparable to yours but we don't, care to enlighten us miss?

" True, but I have no other reason. I guess I just wanted to have more friends, thats all...

I smiled at the two, they just kept quiet for a while so I decided to pick up a piece of bread that was on a plate and started eating.

Kim grabbed my free hand from under the table and I looked at her, she was smiling and I in turn also smiled back.

Lotte started eating her soup and soon enough the rest followed and began to eat.

I was pleased when I saw the look on their face when they were eating, they really enjoyed the food.

well, if they did try to complain I would have thrown them out, I spent two hours cooking for their sake, the least that they can do was be happy about it.

When we finally had our fill, I took a glance at Reina and Sylvia then told them that they can give it some thought before deciding if they would join our group but before I could leave the table.

Reina stood up after Sylvia nodded to her, and went around the table to my side and took my hands before saying...

Reina : " we've decided, from now on we will be under your care miss Aria. "

" I'll be under your care aswell. " I said in return.

Kim stood from her chair then slapped Reina's hands away from mine and all of us were surprised at her actions.

" Kim? " I called out to her for an explanation.

Kim : " Your being too close... try keeping your hands to yourself Reina. "

Kim was visibly pouting and I really found it quite cute.

Thankfully, Reina wasn't offended and just gave a wry smile at Kim, but Sylvia looked like she had something to say in the matter, however she chose not to speak about it.

" well then, if you need anything else I will be in our room. "

As I left the table, Kim followed me from behind.

Inside our room, Kim asked me a few questions regarding the new members.

Kim : " So, what are your plans regarding Reina and Sylvia? are you also planning on having that knight included in our group?

I hugged her from behind, while she sat on the chair beside the window and whispered to her ear.

" Are you jealous?

Kim : " Should I be?

" Don't be silly... if you want I can have them all killed before the sun rises. " I said this like it was the most natural thing.

Kim : " Stop! Aria, please don't say such things like it was nothing. Its wrong, and I feel like a certain part of that personality of yours is starting to rub off on me too, I thought you said you wanted to be their friend?

" I do want to be their friend, but if it means that it would cause you problems then I would rather cut ties with the two, I only saved them because you asked me, and regarding Prim, the knight, she was supposed to replace you once you decided to leave me, but since your planning to stay, I no longer have any use for her.

Kim : " Just like that huh? you haven't changed... fine then, If your doing this for my sake then lets do it properly. I accept them... Reina, Sylvia and that knight Prim... please take care of them for my sake... and in return, I will never leave you, but promise me this Aria... don't replace me, thats my only wish...

a grin appeared on my face when I heard her words.

" So you were Jealous~

Kim : " I am not!!! hmmp!

Outside the house the two new members decided to have a private discussion regarding their future and what it holds.

Sylvia : " Uhm... Reina...

Reina : " Yes, Sylvia...

Sylvia : " Is it really alright for us to join their group? We barely even know them.

Reina : " I think this is for the best, the little miss Aria seems more than capable of handling any situation that arises, compared to our previous members, she is definitely a lot stronger, but I have to agree, she is a bit cold and indifferent.

Sylvia : " I know, if it was Kaito, he would have jumped out and saved people who were in need unlike her.

Reina : " Sylvia... you might hate me for this, but I regret having joined him and his weak group.

Sylvia : " What are you saying Reina!? he was the kindest man that I ever met, he may not be the strongest but his compassion for other people isn't something that makes him weak! and I loved him for that!!!

Reina : " I loved him too, but now he' dead... in the end, his compassion for other's is what killed him. A good leader has to be cold and calculating in order to ensure the safety of his members... that's why, I couldn't say that miss Aria was in the wrong when she decided to leave and ignore our plea, we were unrelated to them... but miraculously she came back to help. I actually thought that it was the end for us, and I was blaming Kaito for his weakness... I was cursing him while we were being raped by those monsters... tell me Sylvia... am I wrong to think that it was better if we never met him?

Slvia : " It's getting late, I'll be heading back to my room... Reina... I didn't blame him for what happened to me, but I feel sorry for him because he fell in love with such a despicable woman.

Reina : " and I feel sorry for myself for falling in love with a man that couldn't even protect the woman he loved.

The morning came and with it, is the start of their new lives together, after eating breakfast " courtesy of their cook Aria " the group prepared to leave.

Aria decided to leave Prim because she was still out cold, telling Lotte to take care of her while she was away.

After preparing for a long journey, their feet brought them to a familiar building inside the village.

The first one to complain was Sylvia.

Sylvia : " Tell me oh great leader... what exactly are we doing infront of the adventurers guild? I packed a lot for a long journey thinking that we would immediately head out.

Aria : " fufufu, me and kim will finally be registering with the guild! " puffing out her chest.

Kim : " Banzai! Banzai!! Banzai!!! " throwing her arms up and down in excitement.

Reina : " Wha... what did you say!? you mean to tell me you haven't registered until now? " surprised by the sudden revelation and massaging her temples.

Aria : " After many hardships, I was finally able to clear our schedules, and now all that is left is to register our names and we will officially become members of the guild, another reason for this is because i want to register our party members. Its better to start fresh, i'm also doing this for the both of you. Reina, Sylvia, its time to move on, this step is absolutely necessary.

the two of them looked at each other before nodding in agreement.

Reina : " to a fresh start. " a smile visible on her face.

Sylvia : " i'm gonna miss them, we've only spent less than a year together but I treated them like they were my brothers. from this day onwards the blood wolves has officially been disbanded...

The group entered the building and all eyes were upon them, a white haired girl wearing her school uniform, a black haired swordswoman wearing black overall armor, a pink haired healer wearing a red ceremonial dress and a short brown haired archer wearing leather tights.

other people inside quickly made way for the newcomers, and the group of four young women were greeted by the clerk sitting behind her desk.

Catherine : " Why hello there Aria. Its been a while since you came, how are you?

Aria : " I'm surprised you remembered me.

Catherine : " I always remember a new face. Hi, Kim, Sylvia, Reina...

the rest of the group also greeted Catherine and Aria explained the situation of Reina and Sylvia, telling her that she came to the guild to register along with Kim and also to form a party with the other two.

Hearing the story, Catherine was a bit saddened by their loss, but knowing that this job entales the danger one will encounter along the way, she can only give a silent prayer in return.

After giving the gold, both Aria and Kim were given the lowest rank which was " E "

The white haired girl then proceeded to take a piece of paper which was placed on the billboard where all the requests were written.

Being rank E adventurers allowed them to accept requests one rank higher than their own, so Aria took a request that was rank D

Walking up to the counter, she placed it infront of Catherine and She read it a loud infront of Aria to confirm that the request has been accepted.

Catherine : " hmm... Bandit subjugation? are you sure about this Aria?

Aria : " Don't worry miss Catherine, we will be coming with Reina and Sylvia who are both rank D adventurers, if it gets too dangerous the two of them will protect me and Kim.

Catherine : " Normally I would not allow such a thing to happen, sending mere children to fight against thieves because of the dangers involved but since Reina and Sylvia will be there I guess its going to be alright...

Aria blinked at the two while giving an impish smile and they could do nothing but agree with her.

Sylvia : " Don't worry we'll take care of them...

Reina : " I promise that no harm will come to these two children, you have my word.

The group of four left the guild building along with a certificate stating the request.

on their way into the forest, Aria was walking like she knew where they would be heading, and soon enough, after five hours of travel, they found the hidden camp of the notorious bandit group " Laughing Coffin "

The next scene that came to view infront of Reina and Sylvia, was Kim, mercilessly killing bandits left and right, while Aria rained down lightning magic on the bandit's camp after completely destroying the fifty foot wall infront of her.

Reina stood there in shock, not able to use her healing magic because it wasn't needed, watching a number of magic swords flying around Kim and killing everyone that dares to come near, the last thing that the bandits saw was Kim's black laced panties while she was jumping around from one man to the other.

Sylvia fell on her knees clutching a hunter's bow, and seeing groups of men being burned to a crisp as Aria's Lightning Magic danced through the air killing everything that it touches.

At the end of the day, the name of Aria's Party became well known for being immediately promoted to rank B a few hours after being formed.

The party of female adventurers...
