《Wrath of The Dragon Slayer》Volume 1: Chapter 1: Path to Destruction
Advertisement
Within the vast universe exist countless realities, each stranger than the other.
Realm of Alem belonged to humanity, Realm of Sulum belonged to Demonkind, and many others followed such suit…
The realm where this tale takes place is called Pandora, a world that is both ordinary and strange in its own ways.
Once it was a peaceful realm… until hundred years ago, when the dragons, the vile beasts of destruction, have invaded this world.
Ever since then, the world witnessed an unprecedented change. In case of humanity, for the worse.
Multiple kingdoms were burned down to the ground, leaving only a few survivors.
One of the few kingdoms that was spared from the devastation was the Holy Kingdom, a kingdom that was founded long ago by angels who have visited this world.
Now the Holy Kingdom is led by three Holy Maidens, who are the head of the kingdom. The Angelic Protection they were bestowed upon allowed them to protect the kingdom against the ongoing onslaught of the dragons.
But what of the other kingdoms that were not so fortunate?
What was their fate?
What of the humans who were caught in the middle of it? Unable to use magic, many human beings ended up killed at the hands of these monstrous beasts.
Angels have long left this world; prayers were no longer answered. None was left to step in and save them.
But when the world is at stake, the ones who challenge the powerful will always rise.
As such, it was inevitable that some brave brazen fools would take up arms against the dragons.
These people came to be known as the Dragon Slayers….
…And the tale that follows is of the man by the name of Arma Blood, a man whose sole goal in life is to kill all dragons.
It is a tale of hatred, vengeance, and carnage, marred by betrayal…
Jumping towards the danger, avoiding the stream of fire and the razor sharp claws, he bravely plunges his blade into the dragon’s enormous skull…
And when his foe is finally defeated, he carves out and eats the dragon’s heart….
This is not a story of a hero or a villain…it is a story of an avenger.

Summon Imp!
Travel with a newly born demon as he grows and learns in his own world as well as in other worlds as he gets summoned again and again. Usually to die or kill for others in strange and exciting places, but it's never certain what the next one will bring. It has its perks. With each new world comes a new story with new experiences and new lessons. There is always more to see, more to learn and more to know. Maybe, someday, it will all make sense. For now he will just work hard to become stronger, to be useful and, hopefully, survive that way. A coming-of-age story, but different. Things start to slow down to a crawl. Colors blur into one another until my vision is completely white. All I can think is "Shit, not this again!" I hate being summoned. _________________________________ updates once a week until I get more time The idea for this story began in two places. One was the ridiculously rapid pace of gaining power in many novels. Both in games and in novels, I enjoy the struggle of the beginning character, why always the rush? The other was the way many monster or non-human MCs always seem to hurry to become human (again). It always felt like a cheap way to grant the character extra powers without the difficulty of writing a non-standard thought process. Thus I wanted to write the slow(ish) progression of a monster character gaining strength and intelligence, while remaining distinctly non-human. There are no stats, xp or systems, no reincarnated soul or completely formed being to start with - unless I want to make fun of those. While the MC 'evolves', the process takes months if not years to proceed step by little step. Sit down with me and imagine, what would it be like if...

Heart of the Dungeon
A lazy, wingless, blabbermouth of an imp, smearing goat’s blood all over the crystal – that is the unpleasant view this new Heart wakes up to. “I’m your Prime!” the imp says. The Heart reluctantly agrees. In an unknown world, filled with dangers, it needs every help it can get – even if said help is not…optimal. The Heart tries its best to succeed, even after being tricked by shrewd traders and having less than useful minions. Rival races settle in the Dungeon, causing even more headaches. The heroes, as they call themselves, sets their aim on the ‘new and defenseless’ Dungeon. The heroes are always lurking in the shadows – well actually, they are standing in the open, under the sun, hiding nothing – but either way, their evil intentions, no matter how they claim to justify them, only cause needless death. “Am I really that precious? Must you hunt me so fiercely? Why are you doing this to me?” The Heart does not understand their motives. Perhaps its lack of understanding has something to do with the fact the Heart has no physical limits nor material needs. Why take it from someone, when you can simply will it forth? Just pay for it with mana rent! To make things worse, the real dangers are not from above, nor from below, but from within…
