《The Crawford's Multiverse of Madness》Chapter 155 - The Chase Around The World

After Elizabeth dusted off her hands, she walked back towards Zeel who was currently comforting the edgy Alice.
Elizabeth immediately intervened since she could guess that Zeel's presence was essentially what kept Alice on edge the majority of the time.
While Alice hadn't told Zeel about her discomfort near him, she had told Elizabeth to try her best to keep them apart until she was under the control of her birthing divinities.
Divinities changed your personality and compelled you to indulge in them.
It was like a child who would always cry when it was time for bed. Annoying as hell but still have to take care of them anyway.
*plop*
The trio turned their heads to see David collapsed on the floor trembling pointing at them as if they were monsters "You just killed that guy. You know that right?"
David's voice shook as he spoke, barely managing to formulate his words adequately.
"You heard what he said, he was a monster – and I use that term loosely," Zeel said as they began walking towards David in a cautious manner, the last thing they needed was for the guy to run all over the world.
"Wait!" David yelled and so they stopped "Are you a Jedi? I mean that mind thingy you did?"
David could only see a flicker of silver lightning and Elizabeth standing in Roland's place – wasn't that too supernatural?
"hmmm," Zeel put his finger under his chin contemplating how to answer but using that time David vanished from his spot, jumping to a location nobody would guess.
"They always run," Alice muttered to herself as they all simultaneously tinkered with their Mbeamers for a bit before running towards the direction David was previously.
Soon the three also disappeared from the penthouse.
David could be seen running in the streets of Tokyo in panic, for the first time since he unlocked his ability, he was genuinely scared out of his mind.
His theories ran wild in his head, he judged them to be from aliens to enhanced humans – both conjectures which would be considered correct to a certain extent.

Suddenly Alice, Zeel, and Elizabeth appeared behind him, startling him to almost the point of passing out.
'Fuck are they magicians too?' David thought.
Then a mad chase ensued.
Zeel dashed forward grabbing David as they jumped away to the top of the pyramids, Zeel hanging onto David's waist was disoriented for a moment since their methods of jumping differed from each other.
Zeel and David could be seen falling from the top of the pyramid as they scuffled and rolled down, every time David was about to collide with the pyramid rocks, Zeel would reverse their positions.
Though he had amazing abilities, Zeel had noticed that David's body was still just that of a human, maybe even less than that of a human if his unhealthy lifestyle was taken into account.
Just as they were about to collide with the ground, Alice and Elizabeth appeared above them in a diving position crashing into the duo, and they all subsequently disappeared just before contact with the ground.
The tourist who had seen the entire ordeal were shocked beyond belief.
*Smash*
The group then smashed into the side of a bus in New York City, Zeel once again taking the brunt of the collision for David.
He was beginning to get annoyed at the abuse but he then remembered Roland came with electronic equipment to capture David, 'Could these guys be weak to electrical shocks?'
But he didn't have the chance to put this to the test as they were jumped once again to the canyons in Arizona.
Zeel, Alice, Elizabeth, and David collapsed on a small cliff at the top of a huge landmass. Everyone scattered in different directions to disperse the force.
Truly, they separated because Zeel, Alice, and Elizabeth did not want to hurt David by collapsing on top of him. Soon everyone was standing on the small cliff, Zeel was about to pounce on a disoriented David once more.
Suddenly,
*Crack*
*Crack*
The ground began to shatter as lines ran across the cliff.
Elizabeth reacted the fastest, in a flash of silver-lightning she disappeared and reappeared with her arms locked around David's neck.

*Whoosh*
The cliff shattered as everyone entered a free fall. Due to the uneven layout of the land, Alice and Zeel were about to collapse on an incline portion of the canyon.
Zeel antigravity boots soon let out blue streams and he slid on the side of the canyon.
Zeel pushed Alice into the open air to avoid collision with the inclined canyon, but doing this caused his Antigravity boots to become damaged by scraping the ground.
Alice used the momentum of Zeel's push to grab hold of Elizabeth and the barely conscious David.
Zeel dissolved his malfunctioning Antigravity boots and ran barefoot on the canyon for a moment. Then he leaped to the other side of the canyon a couple of meters away.
The rock formation beneath his feet cracked as two feet imprint were left behind.
Using the momentum gained, Zeel pushed himself into the open air in a diving fashion. Latching himself onto Alice, who held onto Elizabeth, who held onto David who was now awake.
*Flash*
The trio disappeared from the canyon a couple of feet above their demise.
This time the trio appeared underwater in the Pacific Ocean, not the best choice by David given Elizabeth's inclinations.
Even if Elizabeth currently specialized in lightning and ice, she still had access to other elements just to a lesser degree, meaning she needed an area high in elemental concentrations to perform her respective elements apart from lightning and ice.
Where can you find more water than the Ocean?
Elizabeth acted quickly and caused the water to surge up below her, trapping David in a ball of water, as she created a platform for Alice, and Zeel to stand on.
"Water, one of my least used elements finally has time to shine," Elizabeth bragged smugly until she noticed Alice's eyes glowing red with swirls of black on the inside.
That was not yet surprising though – what was surprising was the way she was looking at Zeel like he deserved to be punished for all the wrongs in the world.
Alice's gaze was bordering from punishment to hatred, no doubt influenced heavily by her divinity and the constant jumps which left her already fragile mind disoriented.
Then as if to confirm Elizabeth's suspicions, just as Zeel was about to send an electrical surge into the water holding David.
Alice jumped and made a fist of flames, striking the unsuspecting Zeel in the back, searing her fist into his skin and then his left shoulder blade.
Zeel's hand injury from previously getting burned by her flames had yet to recover since the flames were divine in nature, and though he wouldn't mention it, Zeel had been on edge ever since the burn since it made him have nightmares of everyone he'd ever killed.
That was a lot of people since Zeel had been killing almost all his life.
Feeling his shoulder blade crack, Zeel leaped forward deciding to go with the momentum instead of against it, grabbing David in the process as they both disappeared alongside a huge chunk of water.
After calming Alice down, Elizabeth looked at her shocked "What did you do?"
Alice was trembling severely from what she had done, after smiling bitterly to herself, Alice asked the question plaguing her "Do you think he will just kill me after this?"
Elizabeth shocked by the question immediately answered "Of course not, he loves you more than anything even if he doesn't show it,"
"Then that's worst because it means he won't trust me anymore. Zeel not trusting me is worse than him killing me, in a world like this; lack of trust means hesitation in critical times which means -"
"Death!" Elizabeth said shuddering at the thought of losing Zeel's trust, who was paranoid to the extreme below the surface.
Zeel always had plans to counter anything, and the mere fact that Alice managed to hit him in the back meant that he had at no time recognized Alice as a threat to himself, even subconsciously.
This was no doubt a rude and unhappy awakening for Zeel who valued logic and rationality over all else.
