《The Crawford's Multiverse of Madness》Chapter 197 - Gabriella

"Hey!"
"Hey!"
"Angel-Winged girl with transparent hair and pretty eyes!" Gabriella yelled with all her might to get the attention of Aurolana.
"You are so beautiful. It would detract from your beauty if you did not help me," Gabriella yelled "Beauty also comes from compassion. Please help this little one, Big-Sister!"
"Big-Sister, I will not survive if you don't help me. I am the most pitiful here, I am only human!" Gabriella shouted hoping to win some sympathy from Aurolana who simply ignored her.
"You Ug-"
The moment Gabriella decided to shout profanities, she could not even finish the phrase 'Ugly'.
Aurolana appeared in front of her, clutching Gabriella's mouth between her fingers.
Zeel watched the human and angel intensely.
"Crazy people are everywhere," Zeel lamented and continued to run his calculations.
Aurolana directed a stink eye at Zeel, hearing the latter describe her as Crazy. Then she turned her gaze back to the human struggling to speak.
Gabriella struggled loose of Aurolana's grip and immediately knelt down, hugging the legs of Aurolana as if she was clutching onto dear life, well, she was after all.
"Big-Sister, may the heavens bless your beautiful soul with endless happiness and harvests. May your good graces shine upon those …"
Aurolana blocked out Gabriella's praises from the moment they started.
She did not know that humans were such a talkative race, but she still secretly indulged in the praises.
Apollonians were known for their pride and lavish lifestyles.
Feeling that the praises were suitable to earn the human some good graces, Aurolana decided to answer the inquiries of the human.
"Don't you find it weird that the Dimension is Collapsing on others all around you, but you – a peak human. Have yet to die even though you don't even know how to play the game," Aurolana asked testing the IQ of humans.

Gabriella glanced around "Now that you mention it, I can see that I am very lucky,"
'Lucky? Is that even enough to describe it?' Aurolana thought.
Seeing Gabriella still confused, Aurolana decided to enlighten the lost kitten "You are on the only Path that guarantees victory in the game. This path should not even exist, you are beyond lucky girl,"
Gabriella looked at the path beneath her feet, and suddenly her face grimaced "You stupid woman! How can you say something that sensitive out loud? What if the others hear?"
Aurolana stood stunned, did she not try to ignore the girl begging for help earlier for this exact reason?
Because the path Gabriella was on, was the only way to guarantee that she finished this game? Now, she was being called dumb?
Just as Aurolana was about to lose it and throw Gabriella off the Golden Path, Zeel walked onto the Path and stared at the both of them curiously.
"What?" Aurolana asked coldly.
Her attitude was the complete opposite of the pseudo-gentle attitude she took when talking to Gabriella.
Aurolana knew what Zeel's race was, she knew that you would always have to remain vigilant near a Homo-Superior.
"Ah, cousin! Family, you have come to see me," Gabriella bellowed walking towards Zeel with the intention of getting a hug.
Homo-Superiors were once humans thousands of years ago so Gabriella thought she had another thigh to hug.
However, the moment Zeel gazed at her with his eternally cold eyes, Gabriella flashed to behind Aurolana in an instant.
Zeel definitely was not someone she could try her comedic acts with. Gabriella was only slightly playful, but she was by no means naïve.
She had a peak human physique and was fairly intelligent as well. It was just that in this Universe, Humans did not amount to much technologically or physically compared to the others.

It was like a sword-user amongst gunmen, she could still probably kill a few gunners with skill alone.
But the fact that a gun was superior to a sword would not change no matter how much she wanted it to.
"Have Homo-Superiors fallen so low as to bully their Human Kin?" Aurolana mocked Zeel.
Zeel said nothing for a moment, but suddenly turned around and said "Jump!"
The moment those words left his mouth, Zeel had leaped a couple of feet in the air.
Aurolana and Gabriella did the same, such an action required minimum exertion from them.
The moment the trio jumped, it was like a veil that shrouded them were lifted.
Their eyes went wide as they stared around in disbelief, everyone stared around in disbelief.
Golden Pathways filled the horizons of the Unknown Planet, Zeel could roughly estimate the number of people at a glance.
"Roughly five million, and that is not accounting for those that died before reaching this checkpoint," Zeel said.
"This is impossible. No one should have this kind of status, and connection to kidnap the rarest and strongest species in our Universe," Aurolana answered.
Gabriella was also startled, her playful attitude evaporating entirely "The Homo-Superiors are the strongest race in this Universe, and even they wouldn't be this blatant,"
Zeel and Aurolana silently agreed, they knew that both their races combined would not be able to pull this off.
The millions of distinct appearances were an indication to the various races that now stared death in the face thanks to this trial.
"Unless all of them agreed?" Zeel suddenly spat out.
Aurolana immediately dismissed the idea "All the races coming together to agree to this? That is impossible,"
"Wait!" Gabriella commanded in an authoritative voice that surprised Zeel and Aurolana.
"Look at them," Gabriella said "You notice something weird about the distinctive features of all the races gathered here?"
Zeel looked around more carefully, then he silently praised Gabriella in his mind.
"They are either Royalty, High-Borns, or have the purest of Bloodlines," Aurolana stated.
The trio continued their discussion as many others tried to board their Golden Path, but Aurolana was an exceptional deterrent.
Everyone in Universe Zero knew not to mess with the Apollonian Race, and the Homo-Superior at her side made the stronger reconsider.
Zeel watched as thousands of races collapsed by Dimensional Shift every second.
By the time this trial was finished, Zeel had no doubt that the five million would be a little over three million.
Aurolana wore a disturbed look but was not really bothered, Zeel could not care less about those dying.
Gabriella had tears lingering at the edge of her eyes.
All those dying had a profound impact on her psyche, because they were a part of the Races, just like herself.
All of those deaths were just an act of mass murder.
Witnessing the scene for the first time caused something inside her to crumble, but she soon regained her wits with a strong pulse of Golden Light from Aurolana.
"Get used to the sight. Your mind was on the brink of collapse, I cannot pull it back every time," Aurolana chided sternly.
"How can you guys stand to watch this?" Gabriella asked between heaving breaths.
Aurolana answered "Homo-Superiors are logical race and can only experience emotions when the other race is a Homo-Superior as well. Apollonians guide the dead to Heaven's gate, so we are familiar with the experiences of all those who suffer,"
Gabriella clenched her fists, forcing her feet to stand tall once more then nodded gratefully to Aurolana.
Zeel, seeing that Gabriella's state had improved, simply grabbed both girls by the arm as they disappeared from the Golden Pathway.
