《The Crawford's Multiverse of Madness》Chapter 222 - The Lethality of Alice
Advertisement
Elizabeth and Alice did not heed The Red Queen's warning but soon regretted it the next moment.
At The Energone Universe, in the Mirror Dimension, a Gravitational Ball now laid dormant.
The next moment, the Silver-Ball reduced its size by half as a massive surge of Reverse Energy was sent towards the endpoint in another Universe – Zeel.
Alice and Elizabeth watched as the collapsium particulates eroding Zeel's body began to rebuild his hands instead.
They were both confused by this development, collapsium was supposed to collapse virtually anything down to its basic components.
Both girls knew that Zeel had a method to stop the collapse, but the way he did it was different from their expectations.
It was as if Zeel convinced the collapsium to do the opposite of what it was meant for - rebuild instead of collapse.
"Reverse Energy from Energone Universe Mirror Dimension," The Red Queen enlightened them "It can Reverse the composition of any energy in the Universe but requires huge expenditures,"
After Zeel's body was in a better shape, except for the scars on his arms caused by Elizabeth's cuts and Alice's burns, Zeel stood once more.
Zeel entered a completely different Time-Zone.
Elizabeth and Alice appeared frozen in time as Zeel walked over to their location with swaying steps.
Constantly using his divinities had only been sustained by stealing Elizabeth's and Alice's energies so far
Zeel was barely keeping up with the current battle, only killing both girls was on his mind due to their Threat Priority.
A sword made of the nanites slowly formed in Zeel's hands.
Arriving in front of the frozen girls, Zeel swung his sword at their heads, fully intent on decapitating them in a single strike.
However, Alice seemed to be able to track Zeel's speed in the separate Time-Zone, but could not move fast enough to stop him.
Alice and Elizabeth were linked to Zeel so they could exert some semblance of control over his Time-Zones.
Zeel could also resist their flames and rainbows to a certain extent.
Still, Alice managed to move ever so slowly and knocked Elizabeth over. Despite her slow actions, Alice picked the perfect timing to barely dodge the sword grazing their cheeks.
Their cheeks turned black in an instant, signifying that Zeel's strike was not a simple strike, it carried the command to corrupt the nanites in their bodies.
At this point, the nanites had become a fundamental part of Alice's and Elizabeth's bodies. Corrupting the nanites down would allow a higher chance of death from normal attacks.
The moment Alice collapsed onto the ground with Elizabeth, Zeel was ready to strike once more.
Zeel moved much faster in a new Time-Zone so the girls could not dodge this next attack. Yet, Alice was reluctant to give up and prayed that her flames could perform a miracle.
Suddenly, the ground felt hot and boiling.

Zeel exited the Time-Zone and jumped back a couple of meters.
Magma shot up from below the ground he was standing, Alice had called flames directly from the Hell Plane.
In her moment of desperation, Alice had unconsciously weakened the barriers between dimensions for a fraction of a second.
It was a desperate attempt for Alice, and she was sure that she couldn't sustain the flames for long.
Still, Alice was also not someone to make the same mistake twice and immediately knew what needed to be done to regain the advantage.
The nanites in Alice's body instantly shifted and ceased the forceful resonance. Alice also possessed some control over the nanites in her body.
Elizabeth also rose to her feet and found that the nanites no longer restricted her actions.
Zeel staggered, barely able to stand, clearly severely injured from the battle and overuse of his divinities.
"You need to put him to sleep before his body breaks down," The Red Queen said.
Zeel steadied himself and drew the figure of a Rune in the air.
It was a Hybrid Rune and a trump card that Alice and Elizabeth also possessed – Beyond Rune.
The Hybrid Rune for Beyond was a Rune Zeel created that allowed them to break through their limits without the power from Lorien.
However, your body would cease to function after the limits were back in place.
The atmosphere grew tense as Zeel's power increased once more.
Everyone was watching everyone, Alice watching Zeel, who was watching Elizabeth, who was watching Alice, who could not afford to take her eyes off Zeel.
As if on a signal, Alice, Elizabeth, and Zeel disappeared from their spots.
An elbow was directed to Alice's head by Zeel, but a cloud materialized below Alice's feet, sending her a bit out of Zeel's projected trajectory.
Alice stepped on the cloud as she gathered Divine-Energy and attacked Zeel from above. A flaming sword materialized in Alice's hands, swinging down towards Zeel's exposed head.
Zeel's body entered a completely different Time-Zone and appeared behind Elizabeth in a burst of transparent lightning.
Alice's sword missed entirely but she still directed the flames onto the ground below. The resulting explosion knocking both Elizabeth and Zeel away.
The world froze while Zeel was mid-air and codes flickered across his pupil, planning his next strike.
Mid-blast, Zeel warped away and appeared behind Alice, ready to strike a decisive blow, but Alice had already predicted such an action.
Massive blue, flaming wings emerged from her back and threatened to burn Zeel to cinders.
The world around Zeel became surrounded with transparent lightning, slowing to a crawl as he exchanged positions with Elizabeth's body without a moment of hesitation.
Zeel was hoping that Alice's wings of Blue Flames burn Elizabeth in his place.
However, instead of burning Elizabeth, the flaming wings embraced her instead.
Alice and Elizabeth did not have a moment to enjoy their survival for the first round.

Suddenly, they both felt massive impacts in their stomach area, Zeel appeared with his fist buried in their guts.
Just as Zeel was about to form sword from his nanites, piercing through the body of both girls, Elizabeth created a collapsium explosion using her Ring Swords.
*Boom*
Both girls were blasted away, Elizabeth barely managed to enlarge her Sword Rings to become floating platforms to dampen their falls.
They no longer had access to the antigravity boots without the nanites. Fighting without the calculation capabilities of the nanites was like fighting with one hand tied behind their backs.
Elizabeth did not fully understand the capabilities of her Ring Swords but could guess more or less from the materials Zeel used to create them.
Zeel did not perform a follow-up attack, instead jumped back with his haste as his intuition blared.
Earlier when he sent Elizabeth and Alice spiraling away, Elizabeth formed a cloud near his feet. The cloud contained trace amounts of collapsium inside.
*Boom*
*BOOOM*
Zeel was blasted away in the opposite direction, but he quickly warped and used the momentum to send himself towards the weakened Alice and Elizabeth.
Both girls were coughing out pieces of internal organs onto the ground in front of them. Without the nanites, damage suffered meant damage kept for a longer time.
Their healing factor was not as efficient without the nanites directing areas of importance to healing.
They had no pain suppression or rapid recovery talents. Still, Alice ignited her fist with flames and threw a punch with all her strength at the incoming Zeel.
Alice had put her all into this punch.
Moments before receiving the punch, Zeel opened two connected warps in the air that connected Alice and Elizabeth.
Alice's punch was now directed towards Elizabeth's face and this punch was by no means weak.
Elizabeth did not know what to do, the punch was too late to doge and Alice was too invested to alter the direction.
Suddenly, The Ring Swords in Elizabeth's hands rippled with water-like droplets as they became crystal clear.
The Crystal Ring Swords showed Elizabeth who she wanted to see most – Zeel.
The moment Alice's fist connected with Elizabeth's face, Elizabeth's body rippled like water and dispersed, reappearing in front of Zeel.
The momentum made Elizabeth collide with Zeel and they both skipped across the ground, sustaining severe damage on both sides.
Elizabeth resisted the pain and grabbed Zeel while they were skipping across the ground. She closed her eyes as her body glowed with the brightest light she could muster.
It was like electrical currents running through Zeel's body, it instantly burned away the little resistance he had remaining.
When Elizabeth and Zeel came to a stop, Alice ran over with all the strength left in her body. She saw the crying and battered Elizabeth embracing a struggling Zeel.
Even with all the wounds and burns on his body, Zeel was raging to finish the fight. It made Alice and Elizabeth know just how trauma Zeel hid behind his stoic face.
Zeel did not seem to have any more strength left to resist, and that should have been the end of the conflict.
However, at that exact same moment in Purgatory, Aurolana removed the last pure piece of Zeel's soul to preserve it within her own soul.
As soulmates, Aurolana and Zeel each had a piece of each other's soul buried within their own soul.
Aurolana had taken back her piece of soul along with a part of Zeel to conserve it in the worst-case scenario that Zeel's soul became completely corrupted one day.
However, such an action caused Alice's soul-sensitive nature to go beserk.
Alice could not cope with the sudden change, and the lingering dark emotions in her mind surfaced once more.
At first, Zeel had a red spot on his soul that showed he had loved and lost, it was a sin but it was a sin of passion and love.
That made it bearable for Alice to tolerate his existence, but his soul had now become entirely black.
Alice grabbed Elizabeth and tossed her aside, Elizabeth was too weak to respond to the sudden show of aggression.
Alice knelt over Zeel's body and began pounding his face with her fist recklessly. Even as Zeel's face disfigured without healing, Alice continued to pound without stopping.
Alice willingly wanted to kill Zeel for the first time since the battle started. It was painful for Alice to hear all the whisperings and prayers of those Zeel had destroyed, hurt, or killed.
Elizabeth stumbled over and threw herself onto Alice's body with tears in her eyes.
Unknown to Elizabeth, Alice was also crying blood tears, hoping to stop hurting her husband but she just couldn't muster the will to resist punishing him.
"Stop, you're going to kill him," Elizabeth yelled hugging Alice and dragging her away.
Even as Alice's flames burnt her skin, Elizabeth refused to allow her lovers to continue the meaningless battle.
Alice struggled fiercely, intent on finishing her job of bashing Zeel's head in, but Elizabeth would not let her go.
The flames on Alice's body burned Elizabeth, but she still refused to let Alice go. How could she let the woman she loves, kill the man they both love?
Sadly, Elizabeth reacted a bit too late.
Another one of Zeel's trump cards was on the verge of activation.
Zeel's body began to be surrounded by darkness, several runes engraved themselves into the ground and formed a summoning circle.
This was a circle Zeel had never used previously, but his mind now deemed it necessary to unveil this extremely dangerous trump card.

I am a 22 year old, Physics, Electrical Engineering double major at Stanford in my senior year. It had been a long day prepping for semester finals, I needed a good hot shower. I was on the way back to my dorm from the Green Library having returned some books on Quantum Mechanics, the Interaction of the Strong and Weak Nuclear forces under the influence of Strong Gravitational fields, and a book on the history of modern electronics. It was about 8:45 PM on Monday, November 15th, 2021, and I was getting ready to cross Campus Drive near the Student Services center, when unexpectedly, Lisa, my younger brothers girlfriend called out to me. I turned towards her, twisting my ankle in the process, and started to fall. I am looking at her face, I can see her eyes widening in shock in the street-lamps glow. I can see her start to scream the word “NO” when I am suddenly plunged into utmost blackness.

The Complete Alchemyst book 2
Continuation of the Alchemyst book 1 Sometimes to be the good guy, you gotta be the bad guy. This is a story about Louis, a guy that was just trying to get along before he got kidnapped and forced to play cook by a Cartel. He's no Heisenberg, however. Now that he's out of Prison and put a beat down on some of the folks that put him away, he's facing the real pressures of Life as a single-person superpower: Everyone wants to use him for their own purposes. Along the way he's met a few girls, some good, some bad. He's looking to save the world, establish an evil empire, secure a future for the people he considers his, and maybe finally kill that damned superhero that started it all. This is not 'the boys'. Not all superheroes or supervillains are evil, The 'super' world is expanding to include aliens, magic, and the children of ancient deities and legends. This is NOT a superhero genre deconstruction. Many heroes truly are heroes, and they don't all need to be destroyed to make a good story, but it does look into the dark side of superpowers and the unreasonable and often contradictory demands placed on exceptional people. Please note that this book has extremely graphic and sometimes gross fight scenes, heroes as villains, villains as heroes, opinionated and often politically incorrect characters, some graphic sex scenes, dad jokes, dirty jokes, realistic depictions of romance and flirting, bondage and dominance themes, and more than a few cuss words when they are really appropriate.

He murmured, his lips only inches from my own.I blinked, my lips parting, as his heady scent encircled me. He licked his lower lip, running his teeth over it as his electric blue eyes burned into mine. The heat of his bare chest seeped through my thin cotton shirt, thawing my icy irritation."Even when you're being cross." He added in a low voice. He leaned closer, before I could respond, and ran his teeth along my jaw.I suppressed a moan. "I wouldn't be cross if you weren't so keen on irritating me." I said, unable to hide the smile in my voice.I felt his answering smile against my neck. "How can I make it up to you?" He whispered, planting gentle kisses up and down the column of my throat. He moved to the other side of my neck, flicking his tongue once against the mating mark near my shoulder. My hands slid up his abdomen, exploring the dips and hard lines of his muscles. Inside, Kess finds an even darker side of the city bent on killing the Errant-using any means necessary.
