《The Crawford's Multiverse of Madness》Chapter 294 - Life Code of The Soul

It had been an hour into the flight when Jenny finally found strange changes occurring to the complex runes on the sarcophagus.
Jenny was not sure what changes were occurring with the sarcophagus. It was strange that she felt the changes but could not visually discern anything out of place.
It was akin to that itch you just could not locate, but you could still feel it.
Jenny mused that she was imagining everything due to the pressure, but the ethereal nature of the Sarcophagus was becoming ever more apparent.
Many times she had to fight the urge to wake Zeel up since she could only discern the vague feeling of change, instead of witnessing anything truly substantial.
Jenny knew that Zeel's annoyance tolerance was very small, so she refrained from awakening him until she had something truly conclusive.
Zeel still sat in a meditative state next to Jenny, only Zeel's mind was somewhere else entirely.

Within Zeel's mind, codes materialized all around him.
These were not the usual codes for the nanites, these were the very essence of his existence since escaping Universe Zero.
These codes were the primary reason that Zeel was not affected by the power of Absolute even after all of his species had died out.
Inside Zeel's mind was an entire galaxy that housed the portion of his memories that were not guarded by the Forbidden Cube.
It was fascinating to think that his memories filled an entire galaxy even after many memories were locked away by the Forbidden Cube.
Zeel sat in the middle of his galactic nebula directing neutrino bursts into visible codes that governed his nanites.
Far off in the distance, a particularly complex, unfathomable, series of unidentifiable code materialized at the center of Zeel's galaxy.
Zeel raised his head and stared at the center of his galaxy for a moment, and shook his head to get rid of the pain that assaulted his mind space.
The moment Zeel laid his eyes on the galaxy center, he knew that he was still far from comprehending his own making.
Literally, at the center of Zeel's galaxy contained the very core of his being, his Life-Code.
All Homo-Superiors had a Life-Code which was a blueprint of everything they were, are, and have the possibility of becoming.
Angels had their souls stored within their halos, humans had their souls stored within their hearts, and Homo-Superiors had their souls stored within their minds as codes called 'Life-Code'.

The Higher Dimensional Being you were, the more complex your soul would become.
Because of the unique position of Homo-Superior souls, to truly kill a Homo-Superior, their brains would have to be eradicated in an instant.
Zeel's Life-Code was so important that even his divinities were not allowed access to this section of his mind.
The Draconic-Energy was especially kept from Zeel's brain since that would cause him to become a lesser-dragon in the true sense of the word, with no chance of reversing the change.
Zeel tried to glance at his Life-Code many times over the years but never once made any progress with understanding his composition.
His father, Tom, was probably the only person alive that comprehended the secrets of Zeel's soul.
Actually, Alice had more understanding of Zeel's Life-Code than he did. Alice had once accidentally accessed the deepest parts of Zeel's mind once and found his Life-Code.
Of course, she was immediately locked out before she could cause any changes, but Zeel felt appalled by the fact that Alice seemed to be much closer to him than he gave her credit for.
He would have loved to run experiments and see what Alice could discern about Project Pinnacle – the Project that created Zeel Crawford.
However, allowing Alice access to his Life-Code would not only be putting himself at risk but also the soulmate whose soul is also entwined with his soul – Aurolana.
Aurolana and Zeel had many secrets that Alice, or anyone else for that matter, could never find out no matter what.
That was one of the things that made Aurolana and Zeel beyond compatible as soulmates… the darkness of their past intertwined around each other like the Ouroboros Dragon.
Processing all the random thoughts that would usually run in the background, Zeel found himself feeling more attuned to his senses than previously.
Ever since leaving Universe Zero, Zeel had locked away a portion of his senses since Homo-Superior senses often perceived too much information from the world around them.
Just as Zeel was about to start coding for the cloaked Cargo Plane once more, he felt a ripple of golden energy within his subconscious and immediately identified it as Fate Energy.
"Did Henry tag me while I was distracted?" Zeel questioned himself.
"No, he didn't…"
"Then who does this belong to?" Zeel asked, holding a thin string of golden energy between his fingers.

Zeel tossed the string into his mouth and activated the full brunt of his Homo-Superior senses to process the information extracted from the energy.
"This tastes familiar," Zeel murmured "I am familiar with this unique signature, but I need more samples to figure it out…"
Slowly, Zeel became distracted by the unique taste of the energy that lingered on his tongue and forgot about everything else.
His mouth unconsciously began to whisper the words discerned within the string of energy.
"The First Strum of Deceit and Revenge…
The Second Strum of Love Last…
The Third Strum of …"
Just as Zeel felt like he was on the verge of a breakthrough, his intuition screamed for him to awaken.
Zeel's eyes snapped open, and the world around him slowed to a crawl as he accessed his [Deep Time-Zone] immediately after.
Within his deepest time zone, one second became exactly three minutes for Zeel, which should have been enough time to process his surroundings.
Sadly, Zeel knew that he could only spend thirty seconds in this Time-Zone before his surroundings would be obliterated by the stray divine lightning that would shoot from his body.
[Deep Time-Zone] was also incredibly straining on his divine energy, but Zeel knew he made the right call when he saw the situation at hand.
Exactly one inch from his head was a golden crystal that surged with Fate energy. No doubt the trump card Henry provided Jenny to ensure her survival in a worst-case scenario.
Jenny had shot it towards his head like a bullet.
Still, Zeel did not immediately jump to conclusions, he remained seated and closed his eyes to take in all necessary information from his surroundings.
First, Zeel noticed that the plane was no longer cloaked since his calculations had ceased when he lost concentration to examine the strange Fate Energy.
His lack of concentration must have been for about thirty minutes at least since there were two American SR-71 Blackbirds outside the Cargo Plane.
Specifically, there were currently five missiles locked onto the Cargo Plane that had already been fired.
Zeel could feel the missiles frozen in the air, but also inching forward millimeter by millimeter just like golden crystal Jenny had fired from the gun in her hand.
Zeel could still see the spark of gunpowder visible in the air as he entered a different Time-Zone instantaneously after Jenny shot the bullet.
Zeel focused on the missile and frowned when he found the inside hollow, but the composition of the missile held a lot of Golden-Essence flakes.
Next, Zeel turned his gaze to the sarcophagus and noticed that some of the silver runes had turned entirely black.
Death Energy was gathering near the sarcophagus, and would probably have some strange effects on the environment.
Unlike everything else around him, Zeel's change of Time-Zone had no dominion over the death Energy gathering around the sarcophagus.
After all, death had nothing to do with his divinity, so he couldn't touch or hinder the concept using Divine Abilities.
The gathering of Death Energy meant that Ahmanet had slowly begun to infect the restraints he had placed on the sarcophagus.
Then Zeel directed his gaze at the soldiers inside the plane. He wanted to see if dying alongside himself was always the plan, or was the soldiers also caught off-guard.
After all, the most useful pawns were those who lost belief in something or were betrayed.
Greenway had a look of anger but also resignation as if fulfilling a great responsibility. This meant that Greenway was aware that they would be killed with Zeel on board.
Yet, Half the soldiers in the plane had a look of horror, while the other half stared with disbelief at Greenway.
Of course, two soldiers were already dead, one of which had no remains and the other committed suicide.
It seemed that Greenway neglected to inform his soldiers about their planned untimely demise.
"That could prove useful information," Zeel murmured aloud, forgetting that he was in a different Time-Zone so his voice created ripples that distorted the near-frozen air molecules.
The final thing Zeel noticed was Chris being strangely embraced by death energy as he sat next to Nick's corpse.
After finishing his observations of everything, Zeel had a precise mental simulation of every event that occurred during the thirty minutes' concentration lapse.
"So it went like this…."
