《Epoch of A.K. (DROPPED BUT BEING REVISED)》V1, C7

Its been three months since A.K. started his training with his mother. Her stomach was growing bigger and bigger every day. Soon A.K. would be surprised with a new little brother or sister. His mother refused to tell him, although they could check the gender of the new child easily. Over these three months, his mother had taught him a few spells, and how to move the magic throughout his body. Plus how to absorb the magic from the surroundings. She also taught him about his two bloodline skills and how to use the one that came from her family. His Starlight Gaze and Magma’s Carnage were the two abilities that System categorize as ‘???’. They were currently both level 1 respectfully and were very powerful bloodline abilities. In the first stages of Starlight Gaze, it drew the target of focus within the starlight and put them into a powerful illusion. It also directly influenced the target's psyche and turns them more favorable to you and your suggestions. However, it drained magical energy at an alarming rate.
He could safely use the ability for roughly 8 seconds. That would leave almost most of his magic drained, however, if he uses it for 10 seconds he would not only drain himself completely dry of magic, and may end up suffering a backlash from the drain. A.K.'s schedule currently consists of his daily lessons, then training for most of the afternoon. After most of his magic was drained his mother would have them sit and meditate to draw in the magical energy within the surroundings and recuperate. She taught him baseline abilities for a magic caster. Such as [Magic Bullet], pure magical energy without an element. Then she taught him the base of each element, which included earth, water, fire, and air versions of the bullet.
Most mages focused on the main element however it was important to have comprehensive knowledge in at least one other element in case you were countered. Air to support your fire, or water to support your earth and vice versa. There was light and dark magic, and the elves and a few other races could use nature magic. Most healers used light magic, as light could rejuvenate and restore. Darkness was used to destroy and cleanse. Infections and diseases could be targeted by darkness magic while light was used to restore to its natural state.
A.K. was also taught how to form a shield from magic as well. According to his mother, the spells counted as tier zero spells and were the baseline for every mage to learn.
There were several tiers of spells as well as unclassified spells according to his mother. Tier zero spells were spells that most common people could learn to pick up and use. The tier also included basic cleaning spells that most households used in their daily upkeep. Currently, it is known that the Empire can perform spells up to the pseudo 9th tier. As that was how they put an end to the Extermination War.
A.K. return to practice, originally his mother set target dummies all over the field, however, A.K. found that it was all to easy to stand in place and hit a target. He had Murnia get a few guards and placed them in charge of moving objects through the air or even towards him as he fired spell after spell increasing his proficiency with them. A drive for strength had bound itself to him ever since was thrust from his home.
A.K. didn’t have a chuunibyou goal to become the universe strongest or anything like that. He just wanted enough strength so no one could take advantage of him. He wanted to be treated like an equal. When [ Beyond ] looked down on all of Earth's humanity he realized what an ant must feel when humans look down on it. He was nothing but a bug that could be stepped on at any time. That was part of the reason he got into such a childish conflict with Moriah. A.K. felt as if she was looking down on him even if it was childish belittlement. Something just took over him at that moment and he wanted vengeance. Now he was in a position to do just that. Son of the Duke of the West. His family guarded the Empire's borders for centuries. A System to back him up where he could plan exactly how to enhance his strong points. The only thing he was missing was a class and luck.

A.K. suddenly paused in the middle of his training and was hit in the head by one of the targets for it. He raised a hand and all of the targets stopped and lowered to the ground. This was his signal to stop. He returned to where Murnia was waiting and told her he was done training for the day and he would like to return to his study.
His mind was working at a furious pace as he recalled every and anything he knew about how systems worked in other stories. Especially the fantasy-type worlds. A.K. realized he was missing several stats and was worried if he got a broken system. Was it too late to get a refund? Finally arriving at his study A.K. dismissed Murnia and sat down in his custom chair. A.K. commissioned a chair to look and worked as a gaming chair, but better in every way as the materials it was built with gave him comfort like no other. It was here in his study where he wrote his thoughts down in English. He wanted to use this as a sort of study/lab as it was a large room but after learning about airships and trains already existing in this world he wonders what could he even provide to help bring about a change. Focusing his thoughts he started a conversation with System.
‘System it has come to my attention that my status is missing a few other attributes.’
What attributes did you have in mind A.K.? System is currently up to date and, sees no need for further improvements.
‘It come to my attention that I am missing a class and attributes such as luck. Now that I think about it, charisma too. What is the reason for my missing class? Hell, I’m even given the title Harbinger, but don’t get any status buffs for it. Nor do I see a title section.’
A.K. was recalling every show, game, and book he read that showed off such abilities and found it increasingly strange that he didn’t have some of these stats. If he could send an accusatory gaze towards System, he would.
There is a reason that you have not unlocked the class function yet. There is also a reason for ‘missing’ attributes.
‘Go ahead and explain that reasoning them. Don’t give me the flowery words either.’
System is waiting for you to gain sufficient strength to unlock the class feature. System must also have you reach the stage of the third magi ascension before allowing you to take a class. Classes and your attribute points can alter your body in ways that could create a monstrosity. It is the reason, while you can see the number of attribute points you’ve obtained, System has advised you to not use those points yet. Your body and all young users underneath System must grow to a sustainable state before higher access is granted.
‘That's fair enough, but what about Titles, luck, and charisma? Why do I not have a feature for these stats?’
System does have the luck stat ready to be added on and a section for Titles and its benefits will be added after a small update tonight. The reason there isn’t a luck attribute is that you have not bound this world and all its inhabitants to System. Luck is not randomly generated by System it is calculated. If you can conquer an isolated area and bind all its inhabitants to System a luck stat will be unlocked for that area.
A.K. pondered on the explanation for a bit. There was a hidden luck stat and a title area would be incorporated into his status window as well. He was relatively satisfied with the exchange he got from System. He now looked to the designs and blueprints scattered all over the wall. These were the blueprints for nodes.

Nodes were, in a basic explanation, towers that would grant the intelligent races access to System. A few days after he unlocked and received some explanations from System, these blueprints were loaded into his mind. The nodes were sort of like cellular towers from Earth. They would cover a wide range giving people access to System. Although even without the nodes they could still use System. The true purpose of the nodes was to retain knowledge and categorize skills. If you were a blacksmith and had knowledge on how to craft a better sword than the blacksmith down the block. That knowledge would be given to System and incorporated into its network. A.K. didn’t know what the purpose of gathering all that knowledge was for, but he assumed it was for something like the internet. After he commissioned the first node to be built, System would go over all of its benefits. The materials needed to build the nodes weren’t anything special. Just steel and magic crystals placed in certain places to power it. The nodes were circular pillars with 5-6 crystals placed on the outside. The special thing about them was how the pillars were built from many pieces then put together. When done properly it would become an active server for System.
…
A.K. paced around outside of his mother's quarters. High Priestess Stella was here once again. One month passed since his talk with System and today was the day he’d be receiving a new sibling. A.K. was honestly excited, as he had a big family before he came here and wasn’t used to being an only child. Now, four months after his own birthday he’d once again have more family. A.K. knew he had an uncle, but he’d yet to meet the man. He wasn’t even sure if he had any cousins from the man. He asked his mother about it but she told him it was his father's responsibility to tell him about his side of the family. Since then it left his thoughts as his father was usually stationed at the Wall.
Today his father was here. He was actually in the room with his mother, A.K. was left outside until the child was to be born. After everything settled down he decided he would ask his father about it.
“Waaaaaaa,” A.K. suddenly heard a loud cry come from the room and he stopped his pacing.
He waited outside the door for permission to come inside yet after serval minutes nobody came out. He would have rushed in if he had not heard continuous crying from the new life.
“WAAAAAAAAAAA,” A.K. heard another loud cry and his pacing suddenly resumed.
Both babies continuously cried out and the door finally opened. It was another priestess of the Golden Pastures, who came along with Stella this time around. She was a young human girl of around 10-12 years of age. Her name was Isabelle, and she was Stella's disciple. She was a stoic-looking girl with skin the color of bronze and piercing golden iris.
“Congratulations, young master Kan, you now have a healthy little sister and brother,” Isabelle said, her expression never lightening up the entire time.
A.K. gave her a smile before speaking, “Thank you, Isabelle, is it alright if I go inside now?”
“Yes, young master.”
As he stepped into the room he saw his mother breastfeeding both babies. He could see the famous Kan hair on both babies, black with hints of red-tinged all throughout. His father was next to Stella discussing the children. A.K. watch as his father handed her another bag of riches before returning his attention to his mother. She looked up at him and smiled.
“Aegeus, my little shield! Come and meet your little brother and sister.” Keala said while beaming at him. A sudden apperception appeared in the air as he stepped closer. Motes of starlight filled the room and the lights darkened. It was like they were in the galaxy surrounded by stars. A.K. heard a whispering but couldn't make out what the voice was saying
A.K. looked around in astonishment and everybody in the room froze. Before giggling broke the silence. A.K. looked to the source and saw his mother laughing in joy. She had a slightly crazed light within her eyes as she opened her mouth.
“Cheee-heee-heee! Chee-heee-heee! My children have been blessed by the Star God! What a great day! Such blessings, thank you Star God. Thank you!” His mother exclaimed. The babies who were just falling asleep reawaken by her jittery movement.
“Congratulations!” Stella said as appeared next to the bed and gently took the children away from the still laughing duchess. Two cribs had already been prepared for the children.
A.K. still watched in amazement as his mother laughed. If he was a bystander he definitely would’ve felt creeped out by the laughter. He turned to look at his father and saw the same gleam within his eyes. However, his was much more hidden and under control.
“Who is the Star God?” A.K.'s voice suddenly rang out cutting his mother's laughter off. She turned towards A.K. and let out a wide smile eyes turning into crescents before opening her mouth and answering him.
“Aegeus, my little shield. The Star God is the grand ancestor of my clan. The originator of our bloodline. He is everything. He has blessed your little brother and sister. Our family will rise past this puny empire and become something more! The Star God hasn't given us blessings in generations. Everyone who gets one move past this tiny realm!”
“Keala, enough.” Duke Kan's voice rang out not quite screaming but definitely agitated. He glanced at Stella and another bag appeared in his hand.
After hearing her husband's voice, reason seemed to be returning to the duchess. She took a deep breath before the image A.K. knew of his mother reappeared. It seemed whatever took possession of her state was back under control.
A.K. knew that several gods were worshiped throughout the empire, but he had never seen that level of fanaticism in any of the priests or priestess he’s interacted with before. What he knew about the gods of this world was that most of them were in some sort of higher realm on this world. There were many, many gods, but the Empire only worshiped a few such as the ones who even bothered to give humanity blessings. The rest had little interest in his race. A.K. returned his attention to his mother and father discussing something. Stella and her disciple had taken their leave. It was only when he realized how silent it was that he noticed their disappearance. His mother and father had some sort of barrier around them to prevent A.K. from hearing what they were discussing. He looked to his new siblings sleeping peacefully in their crib, and it came to his attention that he didn’t even know their names yet.

Midthalion Saga
+++Working on new chapters. Share what I've posted with your friends and family! Be sure to build strong bonds with those who are important to you. We only have each other in this world for so long!+++ Can Roderick XXIII gather together and train a party of adventurers to clear out Madeon Caves and bring peace to the wildmarches of Midthalion? Sent from his home monastery in the west to the wildmarches of Midthalion, Roderick the Holy Avenger is devoted to living out his oath to bring the Holy Light to the dark corners of the world. He enlists the help of an old friend, Ulrich Vogelbrandt the dwarf druid, to train and prepare a fighting force capable of defending the west from the evil they both see gathering and growing in the east. Eoroth is an ode to Tolkienesque epic fantasy, Robert E Howard and H.P. Lovecraft's pulp fiction, and Gygaxian Dungeons & Dragons. I like to write about serious topics because I think it's fun. I hope it makes for a fun read. Place: Eoroth, a vast, flat world with many continents set in oceans that reach out and mingle with the Celestial Sea. Our story takes place on the continent of Thalion in the middle, unsettled region called Midthalion. Peoples: Races in Eoroth aren't different species; the species of man is just incredibly diverse, consisting of many known races (and perhaps some unknown). There are no humans in Thalion. Thalion's races include variations of elves, dwarves, halflings (billowits), pierros (clownish men), bergeracs (long-nosed and swarthy men of honour), orcs, trolls, goblins, and hobgobs. The Church: There's one dominant religion in Westhalion. The faith of the elves is an analogue to Roman Catholicism while the dwarves practice an Eastern Orthodox analogue. (Forgive me for not having figured out names yet.) The practitioners worship a triune god (the All-Father, Son-of-All, and Holy Light). There are many powers in heaven, all created by God. These include the Twelve High Thrones, individual, created beings who take on the role of guiding mankind in different aspects, drawing them closer and closer to God. (That should be the essentials. I could write pages on the theology. Comment where something's unclear in the story.) Natural World: There are plants and animals in Eoroth, but the world is also inhabited by spirits called aeons. Aeons are transformative beings; in the wild, they'll change based on whatever is happening nearby. Pollute a pond? Expect to see toxic toad-men running around. Leave a bunch of dead bodies strewn across a battlefield? Expect the place to become haunted with ghouls and ghasts. Druids are important for making sure that the aeons are pacified; that their needs are met so that they don't become rampaging monsters. Where the wilderness becomes overgrown, so too do the aeons. Aeons and People: Long ago, men learned how to trap aeons in stone tablets and use them for war. Now, anyone can capture an aeon into a special staff made by a druid. Men train, raise, and bond with these aeons. Druids often build entire ranches devoted to raising healthy aeons as allies and companions. Aeons are divided into twelve known families, and the church sees these as corresponding with the Twelve Thrones in Heaven. Direction: My goal is to get the story to one million words by June next year. I have tons of content in mind for the world. I want to release novels set in different ages of the world depicting different historical events. I hope to expand the setting into a tabletop role-playing game as well as a series of old-school JRPGs. But, it all begins with writing some stories and publishing my novels.

Once you go Wuxxia you never go back. [Not a Parody but moreso a revised wuxxia.]
Robert Nord wakes up from a deep sleep, one he regreted to ever take. Instead of waking up to his well-known, stark, eggshell-white ceiling, atop his luxurious 800€ mattress with down feather duvet and fluffy cushions, he finds himself staring at molden planks of wood, a stench of sweat, blood and iron mellowing in the air. A world of swords that sunder oceans and fists that crack mountainsides. This is a world known throughout the dimensions, a world of wuxxia and xianxia. (This fiction will be parodying many a wuxxia and hopefully do a good job with it. Not only will I try and stress the most ridiculous down-sides of wuxxias but I will also take a shot at making it enjoyable while I'm at it. And don't be fooled by the Lit-RPG tag, after all, every MC needs his secret weapon, regardless how much they try to deny it.)
