After knocking on the oak door, it creeks open to a messy room with various books, toys and food littered on the seemingly dirty brown carpet. Near the very edge of the bed, two feet are slightly visible.
“Is this …. heaven...?” As Thomas spoke loudly to the feet.
As quick as lightning those feet disappear then quickly out of thin air a boy sized entity appeared in front of Thomas. Greatly shocking Thomas as that figure was as normal as it can be but the mainly reason by the panic was that it lacked a face well more like it had a burry face. “Errh no this is my room…Who are you and why are you able to enter here?”
*Aeee* As Thomas screech and his face went as white as a ghost by unable to process what he is seeing in front of him. Thomas turned around to ran back out of the door, only to see that the door is now gone.
“Wait wait don’t run. Oh, it seems you’re just a wandering spirit you can’t perceive my existence. Sorry but wait a second,” with a wave of the boy’s hand some white particles floated from his palm toward Thomas head. gave Thomas an ability, Astral Mind.
Ability AcquiredAstral MindAllows the user to see past any barriers, protection and wards
Extra: No restrictions to any being.
Thomas entire body squirmed around like he got struck by lightning. After a few moments pass, Thomas regain his composure. “What did you do to me? “As the blurred face boy came into to focus to a freckled face boy.” Oh now I can see you. So how did I get here, the last thing I saw was a truck running over me. Did I die?” Starting at the boy waiting for an answer.

After a long period of silence, the boy said,” Ah yes, it was my fault, I was playing a new game my father gave me. It’s called, Truck-kun Simulator, so I was playing on a new world I finally unlocked. It was called planet earth, which I found it fun as I ran over humanoid beings. Oh boy I did rack up the points which gave me a new vehicle, semi-truck. So after I ran over the last being who didn’t even move out the way, I received a hidden achievement called Final Destination. And this is how you met me.” As he is smiling with glee at Thomas, who’s face is turning bright red from the irresponsible of that boy’s actions.
“So can’t you just take me back to Earth. Please.” As Thomas pleaded with the boy. “Oh I can’t…well I can but earth is gone by now.”
Thomas with a puzzled face asked,” What do you mean by that and how is it gone?” The boy quickly responded, “Well there is a time difference from where you live and here. One minute of time here is about one billion years on your earth. The only thing I can do is send you to another world, since I was the one who ended your life I’ll give you a bonus which would make your life much better.”
Thomas is shocked that everyone he knew was long dead, heck maybe even the planet is gone as well. “So ok what type of world that you are going to send me to? Also what kind of bonus can I pick?”
“Not to be mad or anything am kind of lazy to explain to you about how everything works,” as he passes me a book. “The contents all that you need to know. Also you can obtain any power besides the power of god.”

Looking at the god, Thomas then looked at the book as it lands in his hand only to drop on the ground with a hard thump. “You call this a book?”
Around a month passed, Thomas is diligently studying the massive book or encyclopedia. “Ahh…that book was crazy, so this is the world that I am going to… huh.” and give me a second to tell you my wish.”
World of VeritasThe Spring of LifeThe world contains fantasy creatures, with science and magic.
The world is governed by a system that is similar to a famous JRPG ” Dragon Quest”.
Placing his hand to his chin, Thomas proceed to tell the boy god, “For my bonus ability, I want the ability I want is to access the state of anything in the world. Well to simplify it I want the power to see hidden rules of the world and how they affect the entities of that world.”
The boy god was thinking as well trying to formulate a skill with those requirements. “Here is the next best ability I can muster up at this time. So I bestow to you, Thomas, Peerless Insight with this skill you can see all the potential of entities of the next world."

‘Huh…is this skill rude or what. What is a Echoran and why he has an Earth name’ As Thomas was about to open his mouth, he was completely cut off mid thought.
In a rush, the god told Thomas this, “Oh Thomas you have to hurry up my Father is coming home, he doesn’t like visitors so what race you want to be? Hurry up man.”

Fallout: Vault X
An original novel set in the Fallout universe, written to be accessible to all, featuring unique people and places. Vol.II. out now Fallout: Vault X tells the story of John. A vault dweller, who spent every day of his twenty five years underground. Like his father, and his father before him. Proud to live in the last remaining bastion of humanity, all that survived The Great War of the atomic age. Hidden deep below the surface of the earth, toiling under brutal conditions. Year after year, decade upon decade. All to expand into the natural cave system the Vault occupied, building for the future. However, John knew what his forefathers did not, that everything he’d been taught was a lie. After finishing school at the age of ten, John received his standard issue pipboy. An arm mounted personal computer, worn by everyone in the Vault. Used to coordinate the relentless pace of expansion, needed to work as an apprentice. To learn the craft that would be his life’s work. A noble calling to ensure a future for all that remained of the human race. A quirk of fate saw John equipped not with the crude, clunky, pipboy model his father wore. That almost everyone around him wore. His looked smaller, sleeker, finished in a jet black sheen. And capable of doing far more than its drab counterparts. The world above had been ravaged by atomic flames, yet life clung to its bones. The Red Valley fared better than most in the century since the bombs fell. The clean water and rich soil protected by rolling hills. All spared from direct strikes, for the most part. Life survived here. Trees spawned from charred ground, misshapen, green leaves turned red. Along with simple crops, grown wild at first, then cultivated by the survivors. The scavengers of the old world were inventive, hardy people. All determined to rebuild in the ruins of a world they never knew. In the decades that passed settlements emerged. They grew, spreading along the valley floor. Reclaiming the pre-war remnants of the once industrialised heartland. Salvaging the robotic wonders of a bygone age to build their walls and work their fields. To protect them in the dark of the wasteland. But such things are uncommon in this world, and the rarer something is, the greater its value. And the worth of pre-war technology had not gone unnoticed. The last, real, power in this world rested in the mechanised hands of The Brotherhood of Steel. Forged from the mortally wounded old world military. The Brotherhood used its access to the weapons made for a conflict no one won to strike out into the wastes. Men and women were equipped with advanced armour, aerial transportation, high grade weaponry. Accompanied by the training, strength, and will, to put them to use. They established chapters and set up outputs far and wide. All dedicated to a single purpose. To ensure the technology left abandoned by its long dead creators didn’t fall into the wrong hands. Namely, any hands that were not their own. This is the world John escaped into. A place of horrors brought forth from atomic fire. A place where survival meant battling against the darkness. Fighting a war each day to get to the next. And war...war never changes
