Countdown: 6209 days left to.....

A young boy with black hair and a pony tail with taints of red hanging down from his shoulder was currently sitting crossed legs, sweat coming down his face releasing energy all around him looking inside his body absorbing that pitch black source of energy, this boys name was Aku Moriarty known in his old world as Akira Josepth, he was training in a location not far from his village right now, the purpose of this training was to be able to control the black heart at will, the tool used by the ones who were the closest existence to gods, he was having trouble advancing in his training stuck without any idea of how to proceed.

'The Black Heart still confuses me, it's a lot harder to control than my blue orbs for some reason I can't mix the energy from the black heart itself with my orbs without losing all the strength in my body, if there was someone who used it before that I could ask for tips from this would be a lot easier, with magic I would only need to ask Mother, yet all the known users of The Black Heart have died, therefore I have little choice now I'll just go one step at a time there's no need to rush, it's me that I'm talking about here nothing is impossible for me I'll master it.'

After his daily workout he heads back home seeing the sun going down, as he enters the village he starts to think about what he has done these last 13 years.

'I have improved quite a bit since I came to this world, compared to when I was born my physical and mental condition is a lot better, I also learned what those blue orbs of mine are through a book that I found when I was searching around my training ground, it was nine inches long, ten and a half inches wide, and two inches thick. It was bound in a black cover and was in fair shape, The cover also had weird markings around it resembling a monster of some sort with long horns wings coming from it's back and crimson eyes with a devilish smile.

'It contained some text that wasn't the native language in this world, I don't know if I was just lucky or if someone put the book there on purpose, but the language it was written in was Japanese through that book I learned that people call the blue orbs spiritual essence the book says it's unique to only the demon races since demons are born with a set amount of spiritual essence and there is mostly no way to increase it but the reason users of the black heart were so feared is that they were able to increase their spiritual essence just by absorbing souls into the black heart resulting with them becoming more and more powerful adding the other powers of the black heart on top of that ability they were mostly unfathomable to other demons on the same power scale as them, as to why spiritual essence was so important is because with spiritual essence demons can gain different abilities such as teleportation, mind control, fire manipulation, etc.

'Because of this I learned that I'm truly not human anymore I resemble one yet the fact that I can absorb these souls prove me otherwise, my only chances of finding out what I am is searching for those amazons if I was able to speak to one of them directly I'm sure that I could find out what I'm, of course if I were to go searching for them now I'm sure that I would die I'm not nearly strong enough to take on the powerful people in this world I may be a bit talented in magic but if I fought an expert swordsman or Mage I would be trashed in a matter of seconds, let alone among fellow demons so my only option is to push my limits into I become strong enough to crush anyone in my way of revenge.'

'I also learned how to hunt from my mother Katherine she's a former half elf adventurer who used to be part of the king's royal guard usually races other than Demons weren't accepted but they made an expectation due to one of her magical talents when I asked her what it was exactly she said she would tell me when I was older still...to elves I wonder what older means.'

'But putting that aside mother told me that she met her pet..I mean Filtiarn during one of her adventures when she was attacked by a group of Orges ending up with her entire party wiped out after that Filtiarn from within the forest with the rest of his pack from what she told me encountered her and the orge during one of their hunts for food, originally Filtiarn to her seemed like he wasn't going to get involved but that stupid orge tried crushing him with his club resulting with him losing a hand, after that Mother lived with Filtiarn and his pack for a couple of months into Filtiarn was hunted down by human hunters he was able to escape but was wounded during the battle losing all of his pack and receiving a blow to his pride from there after mother healed his woynd and they became comrades in this village protecting it.'

'I almost forgot to mention the Continent I'm as of now residing in is called Zogrush the rule is divided between The Three Eyed Kings, The All Knowing Emperor, and The Conqueror Of Chaos from going off my memory I should be living in a village between the borders of the Three Eyed Kings and The Conqueror of Chaos, the two are engaged in war but I doubt they should spread out to this part of the kingdom.'

“Aku!”

As Aku was lost in thought he could hear someone shouting his name 10 inches away from him when he looked up it was two platinum blonde youths one was a boy who could be considered fairy handsome for his age resembling a prince slightly taller than the girl, he had loose hair that reached his back with cold steel grey eyes giving off a distant detached aura, next to him was a smiling beautiful girl with bright blue eyes and long straight hair unlike her brother she had a warm, pure, and childlike aura around her even so both shared a common trait and that was their pointy ears they were young Elves. The boy was a 13 year old named Jasper while the girl just recently turned the same age as Aku named Enyo the three could be labeled close friends.

“No need to yell I can hear you fine, I'm not deaf.”

“Hmph, she wouldn't need to if you weren't so caught up in your day dreams that you couldn't noticed someone speaking to you.”

“I wasn't day dreaming I let you know that I had some important things to think about.”

“What important things other than creating crazy plans to get a kiss from one of the towns girls in the village.”

The two were going back and fourth into Enyo decided to stop the two.

“Calm down you two you'll disturb the other villagers work at this rate.”

“Haha, since a beauty such as yourself asked I have no choice other than to agree.”

Almost instantly Aku was back to laughs and a smiling face putting his arm on the back of Jasper when two minutes ago he was ready to tear his head off, resulting with Jasper having an expression of disbelief.

“I still can't get over how quickly you regain your calm over girls.”

“Oh my friend you have much to learn, not just any girls only true Beauties.”

“Whatever, shouldn't we head to the coming of age cemorny?”

'The age cemorny? Oh yeah it's the cemorny kids go through when they offically are considred adults most information about the cemorny is kept secret so no one knows what will happen when they go into it and when they come out they aren't allowed to tell what happened there, still I forgot completely that it was almost time.'

“Crap, why didn't you guys tell me eariler we're almost late.”

“We would have if you didn't rant about Beauties for almost an hour.”

“Don't fight again you two let's hurry up there while we still have time.”

The three nodded to each other then rushed to the temple.

After half an hour or so they made it at the last minute, they saw 17 other kids and a few adults the most noticeable was the mysterious woman and green robed priest, the woman was wearing a fox mask on her face, her eyes were a mixed matched pair of black and green, she also had shoulder length black hair and custom designed light green armor that looked too expensive for folks that live around here, since Aku couldn't see much of her face he gave up on figuring out who she is.

After 5 minutes or so an old man came out of the temple he looked at each and everyone of the children infront of him then went to each one of them and had them prey to the shrine, asking them a question.

“What do you desire?”

He asked Enyo first, after giving it a bit of thought she answered him honestly.

“I desire peace.”

After hearing her answer he made a motion with his hands and a blue staff appeared out of thin air, it landed into her hands and shined with a bright beautiful aqua color, everyone who witnessed this event other than Aku were slient, but in an instant everyone started to whipser.

“It can't be....”

“How could that little girl summon the staff of the war goddess?”

“Silence!”

The bald priest eyes started to glow bright green causing the rest of the people near them to stop talking it was as though the aura he gave off would kill them if they let out a word.

“You were chosen by The Goddess Of War to receive her Staff because of your strong desire for the world to have peace and to protect your friends, I'm sure that if you train hard enough you might one day master this tool of peace to suceed, you'll face hardships but never give up on peace.'

She let out a tear to his words and bowed, after that the priest went on to ask the question to the other kids most received nothing while 5 others suceeded the items were nothing compared to what they witnessed a few minutes ago now it was the turn of Aku and Jasper to answer the Priest question, he decided to ask Jasper first.

“What do you truly desire exiled Prince?”

He thought about it for a long time what did he truly desire, being banished from the Palace by The Three Eyed Kings with his sister at such a young age losing everything and barely being able to eat having to beg on the ground for coin watching their family be massacred in front of them only being spared since they were children, the hatred that went through his veins the bitterness he still had in his mouth these past years for being too powerless to do a thing, after 5 minutes or so he had his resolve and answered truthfully.

“I...I desire power, power to protect everything important to me power to never lose what's mine again.”

After the priest heard his answer a white sword that resembled a dragon with golden markings on the blade itself appeared it gave off an aura fit for only a king making all those near it bow down, the priest almost did so himself.

“It's...just like the history books described it, to think I lived to witness this day it's..it's Excalibur!”

“My new owner what is your name?”

Jasper stood their shocked for a minute or 2 then was able to barley answer.

“My name is Jasper Lockwood.”

Excalibur came closer to him and spoke.

“Rise milord The True King Of The Realms of this age and even the next!”

Jasper without hesitation stood up taking the sword in his hands and unsheathed it showing the golden radiance of the sword shining so brightly you had to cover your eyes in order not to go blind.

After 2 minutes or so he put the sword back in the sheath, now it was finally Aku turn no one expected the local playboy who tried to get a kiss out of all the girls in the village to amount to anything next to the other two who were royalty how could this boy dare to compare.

The priest went towards Aku looking at this no manners carefree boy who looked like this didn't matter at all to him, he held the boy in disgust yet he had to still do his job even if he found the boy unworthy of the honor.

“What do you desire?”

'Hmm what do I desire riches, money, power, land, women? No those are second to what I truly desire....what I truly desire is...'

“Revenge!”

The boy gave off an expression filled with hatred for the world and a gaze filled with coldness and bloodlust different from the carefree boy he met a couple of minutes ago, unlike before instead of a bright light flashing in their eyes everything only turned pitch black.

Instantly black tattos started to cover his back going near his heart surrounding it completely going up his arms stopping before it touched his hand, he felt a bit of pain but it quickly went away within an instant thanks to the black heart, suddenly a mix of a scythe and sword entered his hands, it gave off a bloodthirsty, murderous, evil, corrupt aura ready to punish anyone in it's away.

Yet this wasn't over yet, suddenly he felt red energy spreading throughout his whole body burning him from the inside making him feel like he was dying, Aku wanted to scream in pain yet he couldn't let out a word, inside his body he felt the blue, red, and black aura fusing together he knew it finally happened he succeeded in fusing the dark chaotic energy with his bright blue energy orbs spreading it throughout his body, an aura covered him making the sclera in his eyes change to a pitch black color while one of his iris became a glowing crystal blue color, the other was a Blood Red color, his hair was still black yet, the taints below his hair rather than being a dark red was a bright bloody color that resembled fresh blood, he grew large black and red horns coming from inside his skull quickly, at the same time blue and red/black energy was shooting out of his scar like a volcano, it kept pouring into eventually he lost consciousness, when he awoke his body was back to normal and his scar was fully replaced with the pure black tattoo, a blue window popped up in his face as he was in the middle of thinking about what just happened to him.

Black Heart Ability Gained:Caladbolg

'Caladbolg Huh? Inspect.'

Black Heart Users gained this deadly weapon through countless sacrifices, and experimenting with blood magic, those who stand in the way of this weapon will be drained of every little drop of blood in their bodies.

The other people near him almost fainted due to all the madness that they witnessed today to think not once not twice but three times that a couple of little monsters appeared adding to that the last grew horns he resembled a demon yet here he was back to normal.

The priest never heard of something such as this happening suddenly he felt a strong demonic presence.

“AHAHAHAHA! I'm finally free Overlord Somo has returned you damned ants better be prepared to face my wrath!”
