When Bora entered his hotel room, he expected to find a sleeping Katarea. However as he stepped inside he saw said Djinn looking at him with her piercing eyes. As he approached Aria shot out of Katarea's bldy and went back to Bora's body.
« So, what did Aria told you ? » Asked Bora.
« Well to start I have decided to give him a name, Yoru, because calling your Aria ´Aria' is a bit weird. Also Yoru told me everything, he told me about your past and the current situation. » Said Katarea as Bora sighed. Atleast she didn't look angry, that was good.
« So will you help me ? » Said Bora.
« Yes I will, of course I will. As a race close to the demon we the Djinns serves the evil Gods, and you are the new God of Greed. The only thing that is different now is that I'll need to guide you for a while. Yoru did tell me that you didn't have a goal other than finding your friend. However I have a rather simple idea. You are the God of Greed, so your goal is to possess everything and that's all. You can find your friend after you are powerful enough. But for now we need to make you strong, rich and influent. You can become rich by selling the items that you multiply, which will become even easier if you get some subordinates to loot items for you. You can become influent just by being rich so it's not important. But we really need to make you strong. For that we'll Yoru and I had an idea. Firstly you are gonna copy my talents and skills. After that we will go on the search of powerful equipments for both you and I, and after that we will sell the equipments to make you rich so you can buy soul crystals. Of course since using soul crystals won't get you all that far, we will need to train you. Since you can make me powerful too we will rech a point when we will both go to dungeons to loot items, multiply them and become both rich and powerful.....And once that's done. We will do it again and again. You are theGod of Greed and I'm your servant so we pretty much know what we are gonna do for the rest of our lives. » Said Katarea as she and Bora smiled. It seemed that the prospect of getting infintely powerful and rich was quite good to them.

« Well......For now we will wait until my god bracelet finish it’s scan of my talents and skills. Oh by the way, do you have one Katarea ? » Asked Bora. Katarea nodded and lifted her hand. On her palm, Bora could see a tattoo of a black swirling portal. The tattoo then shone and a god bracelet appeared. This spectacle left Bora awestruck as Katarea chuckled.
« It’s called a void storage tattoo, Master. Those tattoos are like bags that can store up to a lot of things. I have one on the other palm too. You should copy it. » Said Katarea.
´ She’s right. This thing is pretty damn useful, much better than any type of storage the magicians ever invented. ‘ Said Yoru.
« Wait a second....Where does it even come from ? » Asked Bora as Katarea smiled bitterly.
« The Djinns are inferior types of Demons, like the nosferatu are inferior types of vampires. And like many of those inferior races, we’re slaves. However we’re quite special, because we became the slaves of an organisation, the Void. I can’t tell you anything about it though, it is the most secret organisation in the whole universe. » Said Katarea.
‘ That’s right Master. When I was watching the world I noticed that organisation, but as weird as it can be.....I never could see or hear anything really important about them. They are so powerful that they can even pressure the Gods. Apparently they are also the reasons why the other races never invaded earth.’ Said Yoru.
« Woah, it sounds like something se should really avoid. » Said Bora which got a nod from Katarea and an affirmative hum from Yoru.
« Well since I am gonna do nothing for two days, I think you should go out on your own Katarea. » Said Bora.

« That’s a good idea master. But I don’t know what to do master. I can’t enter a dungeon or a tower since I’m not a magician, a mercenary, a knight, a hunter or anything like that. Though I could enter a monster zone. » Said Katarea which confused Bora as he let out a ‘ Huh ?’.
« Monster zone ? Aren’t those the places where monster can spawn even if they are outside Dungeons and Towers ? » Asked Bora.
« That’s it master. Apparently they appear after the failed conquest of a tower. If the conquest of a tower is failed, summoning crystals escape from the tower and ends up scattering around the world. I think I could find a monster zone close by since there is a tower a few kilometers away from this city. » Said Katarea.
´ Master tell Katarea that she should go buy a weapon before going into a monster zone. Those places are really tricky, since a tier 8 monster could appear in a tier 4 monster zone. ‘Said Yoru.
« Katarea you should go buy a weapon before you enter a monster zone, safety first as people say nowadays. » Said Bora. While Katarea looked like she wanted to smash the monsters without a weapon, she still nodded and left the room.
‘ By the way master didn’t you forget to analyze the bow and the broken crown with your God bracelet.’
« .........Damn »

Tales From the Terran Republic
We tried, you know… We really did. We tried so hard to be… better… We actually were better once. No, seriously. We were enlightened, generous, peaceful… Stop laughing! We were! We were peaceful, dammit! No, I’m not “tugging your winglets.” It’s true! Look, if you’re going to be like that, I’ll just push the launch button right now. See ya, don’t wanna be… Oh, you ARE interested after all? Ok. Hey, I just got word that your captain will be ok. We were able to get him into a med pod quick enough… Of course, we tried to save him. Just what sort of people do you think we are?... Now that was harsh… completely accurate, mind you… but harsh. Anyway, like I was saying, we were a prosperous, peaceful people, and war had been nothing but a distant memory for over five hundred years before it happened... Before Yellowstone happened! You don’t mean to tell me that you didn’t know about that… massive supervolcano? Blew the Hell out of our planet? Two years where nothing grew?… Anyway, that’s what started it, the Sol Wars… Oh, you have heard about those, huh? Well, needless to say, all that enlightened, generous, and peaceful didn’t exactly make it through the two years of complete famine and the wars that followed… Maybe it’s more accurate to say the enlightened, generous, and peaceful among us didn’t survive… (laughs)… You’re right. It does explain a lot, doesn’t it? Probably for the best, though. “Enlightened” and “peaceful” aren’t really all that useful out here in the galaxy at large, are they? That reminds me; thanks for the ship. You guys did a great job with this one. Oh, don’t be like that. At least it was us what got you and not one of the really messed groups like the Harlequin or the Black Angels. We’re just going to take your shit. It could be worse… trust me... Well, anyway, we loaded the life pods down with some good food, and you guys can drink alcohol, right? We put in a couple of fifths in there, too. It’s about forty percent ethanol, so be warned. Most species will want to dilute that. We’ll drop your wounded off somewhere safe once they are stable. Your fleet patrols this area fairly regularly, and we’ll drop the distress beacon right before we jump… Well, It’s been fun and no hard feelings, right?… Oh, you want to know some more? Sure. I got time to kill… Let me tell you about this one pirate and her crew. They’re Terran scum, but they are still… Why do we hate the Terrans? Hoo Boy… How much time you got? *** It’s the thirty-second century, and humanity is now part of a galactic civilization comprised of hundreds of worlds. Humanity has been savaged by natural disaster and war and has been fractured into several separate populations, all of which loathe each other (some things never change). This is a gritty drama-driven rambling tale that swings between action, drama, horror, and plenty of very, very dark comedy. Warning: contains adult situations, absolutely horrible language, bathroom humor, implied ultra-violence, actual ultra-violence, drugs, alcohol, pirates, mercs, xeno prostitutes, moral ambiguity, deranged AI's with identity issues, giant commie space slugs, and a poor little frog girl who just wants to sell coffee. Updates twice weekly on Tuesday and Friday. *** Note: This story can get rough. Those warning tags? They aren't for show. I recently received a review and as a result I want to make one thing clear. Portraying something is NOT endorsing it! Many "heavy" topics are touched upon and just because a character says or does something does not imply that the author feels the same way. I selected the "Anti-Hero Lead" and "Villainous Lead" tags for a reason. Rule number one of this story is "no good guys". A good description of the story is, "bad people doing bad things to worse people". There are a few good characters, here and there, but they are the exception to the rule. If you want a hard-hitting, exciting, gritty sci-fi story that doesn't pull any punches, or shies away from "difficult" concepts, welcome! If you are set on a pure and noble knight that runs around and slays conveniently evil monsters and rescues totally innocent princesses... or your sensibilities are easily offended... You're not going to be happy with this one.

The General Core {The Sphere}
The life cycle in the Sphere is on the brink of collapse because one of its elements, the Dungeons, have been exploited too much by the mortals. The group who created the Sphere already tried and failed with several modifications, because the original computer-like dungeon cores are too inflexible to handle changing approaches. So they try another type of solution – taking souls from other worlds to try to find a solution before the Sphere Cycle breaks down completely. The General was one of the best soldiers of his world, rising from the ranks of a private through Officer School to the highest command with honors. But when his world faced a zombie apocalypse, even that was not enough and he had to make the ultimate sacrifice. Now he is asked for a repeat performance of planning and controlling a dungeon and its spawns in a world that he knows nothing about… But what is the Sphere really? What is that [Xenotic conversion] he has to go through to even enter the Sphere? Something is really strange and he will have to find out what is going on to get to his promised rewards – whatever they will be. Being a soul in a dungeon core means that the General has better chances of finding hints to the truth about the sphere – a knowledge that would help him survive. And no, the sphere is NOT a virtual reality – the key to its secrets is the place where it was physically constructed (Author’s hint). This is a dungeon core story - but there are quite a number of things that I will do differently than common to those stories. 1) I will describe the floors when they are explored, NOT when they are build. Yes, that will mean it will take longer to get to those parts - but I think describing floors both when they are build and when they are explored destroys quite a lot of chances for suspense when adventurers enter the dungeon. After all, if you as the reader already know where the traps are, then you can't really be surprised when the surfacers encounter them. 2) How the world works (and how not) is an integral part of the story, so it will be explained I'm a world-builder first and the Sphere is NOT a regular world (as hinted in the synopsis above). Things will work differently than in your 08/15 default dungeon core stories - as the General and Gunny have already learned in the second arc (and more of that is already scheduled for the next weeks (July/Aug 2019) when the Sky Arrows continue to explore and evaluate that strange dungeon) If you don't like these premises, then I'm sure you'll find a lot of other Dungeon Core stories more to your liking. But if you are interested in more than "Dungeon builds another room and corridor in medieval earth" and are not afraid of a longer and slower story, then go on. I have two more stories in the Sphere, although they both have lower priority than this one: Shaleen the Wanderer (Adventurer, NSFW) (currently on hold after some chapters) Info's on the Sphere (System Docu and Short Stories) (irregular updates when needed) Current Status reports have been moved to a new discord server: https://discord.gg/EaHkXCfm9y
