“Oh just a small form” the father replied

“While they are getting my future son-in-law, you will have to fight me…” the father said in a serious manner, which Claire and Kate, were in their battle stances

“In a game of chess!” the father said, pulling a chessboard and pieces from thin air

“What…” Kate and Claire said

“Come, come,” he said, as he placed the chessboard down on the ground and started to place the pieces correctly on the board

“There is no use in a fight when the fight doesn’t even involve us, instead we should fight in terms of strategy and knowledge while having fun,” he said, as he offered them to play chess

Kate and Claire both looked at each other, and then nodded, sitting down next to the chessboard

“So how are we going to do to this,” the father asked

“2 v1 or a fair 1 on 1,” he said

“We are doing a 2 v 1” Kate declared

“As they say, 2 brains are better than 1,” she said

“Oh ohoho, we will see about that,” the father said

“So black or white?” he asked

“White, please,” Claire said

And thus this was the start of multiple games of chess in which Kate and Claire lost every round
