Once they settled down, Potin, Norgolin, and Diana started searching for some hunting prey in the forest. They were very sad that they didn't find good prey, even near this beautiful clearing. ''That's right, but we need to prepare for the worst anyway. By the way, I can help on fortifying the place, as I have seen these humans doing it at the Orc tribe''

''If I were to make walls in that clearing, I would need good stone axes to cut trees, strong tree vines, as well as stone shovels to make the foundations''

When they finished talking, they heard some noise nearby, so the group prepared for a fight. However, once they saw who was coming, this wariness disappeared. It was the women group! Actually, the group was going well, hidden far behind the fight, but when the Divine Fire Gorilla appeared, the women became apprehensive of what might happen, so Laura and Alom decided to hide in a better place. However, when the group arrived in a certain part of the forest, considerably far from the fight, a group of Iron-Spike Lion; These were a variation of the Spiked Lions, but a lot stronger. Their spikes were almost as strong as Iron, and their skin was as tough as a rock. Alom fought bravely, and Laura helped as much as she could, along with the women but when they managed to defeat the Lions, more than half of the women had perished. After that, they walked without rest until they reached the clearing.

By this time, the entire group just wanted to rest, so Norgolin respected their wish. While they rested, Laura seemed to have endless energy as she made some preparations to help healing her group; It turns out she had collected some medicinal herbs on the way.

''Aren't you tired, Laura? if you teach me the method, I can take your post and make these mixtures...'' Norgolin said, worried about her fatigue.

''Relax. During the trip back, I swore to myself that if I could return to you guys, and you were safe, I would heal each and every injured one. Leave it to me!'' Laura insisted. From what she said, Norgolin concluded it wasn't worth it to pursue the matter any further, so he let her do what she wanted.

Laura kept her word and helped all the injured people heal themselves. All goblins and orcs obviously had at least the concept of gratitude, so they started to like her more and more.

''I've called this meeting to decide two things: Whether or not to stay here, and how to build our new village. Any of you have more important topics to add?''Norgolin started. No one talked, so Norgolin proceeded to explain to Laura and Alom the strangeness of this place. 

Laura was the first to comment ''Indeed, this place is very suspicious. If that is true, then this place is some type of checkpoint to at least two races and if we were to stay here, they may discover and be angry that we're occupying their territory, so they may misinterpret it as a challenge. I'm reluctant about it, but from my experiences in these past days, I think nothing scares me more than walking without information in this damn forest, so I vote for staying.'' Alom had a helpless face as he talked; Indeed, no one could blame him, as he had gone through a lot of traumatic experiences in a relatively short time.
