22 days into the farming task Ryan and Alex managed to find themselves the perfect rhythm.

They currently had a little over 18,900 hearts.

Ryan who felt more control of his swords from slaying the endless hordes of sheep managed to actually gain a few points in agility during this time. He increased his attack speed and, in his head, had the exact point of where the heart was at in these demonic sheep. This made him increase his harvesting speed by almost a third.

By now He and Alex had a full “Vault” full of hearts. They couldn’t squeeze anymore hearts into Ryan’s mobile bank. When Ryan closed the void he and her sit down and take a break.

“I guess that’s it. It won’t hold anymore” Ryan says while huffing on the ground.

“I guess we need to go empty it then” Alex suggests.

“I’ll kiteboard back to Simon, you want to keep grinding? Or you want to take a break?” He asked her while searching his bag for his kite.

“I want this over with” Alex replied while picking up her sword and standing up.

“Hang on its not in here. I think it’s in my vault” Ryan says while rummaging through his bag. He removes his board from the external straps and opens up his void storage space.

Inside the vault this time, there was nothing inside except his kite and an envelope. Ryan and Alex who looked panicked about where their cache went rush over to the envelope.

Inside there was a letter that read: “Good work so far. Since Ryan has a void storage spell in his arsenal and I am pretty much trapped in the medium of the void and this realm I’m able to pull your quest items out for you without you having to make a trek all the way over here multiple times. I do enjoy watching how you both handle your misadventures and misfortunes. It is comical on my end. For the entertainment you have given me I am cutting you all another break. Just fill the vault. I’ll handle the rest” -Simon

Ryan and Alex who smile in joy

“That just saved so much bouncing around” Ryan cheerfully says while pushing his board forward with his feet and letting it roll into the vault. He realized he now did not have to lump all this unnecessary weight of his board around.

“So let me get this straight, as long as we entertain him, he will make this quest easier for us. I like this quest now” Alex says while walking toward the nearest group of sheep. Ryan who was also getting up off the ground then notices Arcadia and Zephyr walking side by side in the distance.

Ryan sees this and grabs Alex’s attention. He then walks toward them. He can see Zephyr just got her hair re-styled and she had a new set of daggers. She had her emo choppy hair cleaned up a little bit. He had a smoother cut but still had long hair. Her hair went from Blue now to the left side of the hemisphere of hair being cyan and the other halve now being violet. She was wearing a cute buckle strap zip-up tank top and also had a cute black choker on her.

Zephyr sprints over to him and hugs him and he pets her on the head and kisses her.

Ryan then playfully smacks her ass. Her ears then go up in excitement.

“I like your new look baby” Ryan says with a flirtatious tone to his voice

“Thank you baby! I needed that today. I missed you a lot!” Zephyr replies while resting her head into his chest. “Arcadia paid for the makeover” She says next.

“Like your new top too. Where did you get it?” He asks

“Her and I ran a few dungeons right here in Gnillàf. I got this top, this new choker, and these new daggers. I had so much fun. Right until that last dungeon which made us freaking solve a damn puzzle by attacking certain tiles on the floor and reading the numbers they provided” Zephyr says.

“Don’t leave me hanging. I’m interested in knowing more” Ryan says while poking Zephyr in the breasts playfully.

“Oh? Okay. Well, we had this room we went into. There was like magic tiles on the floor we had to step on then stomp on. Upon stomping on a tile, we activate it and a number appeared. Like a “Blue One” a “Green Two” or a “Red Three” Zephyr says.

“Don’t forget about those god forsaken “Grey Eights!” Arcadia interrupts with an annoyed tone.

“Yes, and those terrifying “Grey Eights, we had to solve this annoying puzzle the numbers provided and avoid activating the hidden explosive tiles. If we activated those tiles the whole floor of the room detonates, and we all take massive damage. Along with the whole damn puzzle resetting. Oh, and we had to fight waves of monsters that upon clearing them dropped a magic flag that inactivates the explosive tiles. When we marked all the right tiles the loot room door opened. The whole thing was a total nightmare” Zephyr says. While looking over at Arcadia.

“Da! Freaking nightmare” Arcadia says while handling Alex a big pot of beef stroganoff and a basket full of Zefir. “This is for you two” Arcadia says,

“Ahhh thank you Arcadia! We were just about to head into the next town over and resupply” Alex says while pointing east.

“So how long until you come home dear?” Zephyr asks

“We had a few difficulties from the beginning. We are not hitting our daily quota fully yet. I’d say maybe another two months max. The black sheep are explosive, and the white sheep are too in a way” Ryan says while picking up a rock and lobing it at a black sheep.

The whole field of sheep then start detonating. Zephyr then frowns in fear for Ryan’s safety.

“You… are playing around with that type of hazard?” Zephyr expresses in concern.

“That hazard comes with this task of the quest. We can’t attack any of them with fire magic or they explode and ignite the whole field. We can’t touch the black ones at all or the whole field explodes too” Ryan explains to Zephyr.

The sight of the exploding sheep making its way down the field appears humorous to Arcadia. She then notices a few sheep start exiting the rift. She walks over to examine it.

“So, I see these sheep have a feeder portal that's connected to the Void realm” Arcadia says while examining and placing her hand through the rift.

“Yeah it's so weird we don't understand why when we knock down a full field of them they just come marching right back in” Alex says while sitting down on the ground.

“It sounds to me like these demoniac sheep are being recycled upon death. Normally these demon voids are invisible and only activate at night but this thing seems to be glitched, like most of Yulee’s creations” Arcadia laughs.

“Was there any reason why she created these sheep with an explosive nature? I have to know” Ryan inquires.

“I don’t know to be honest. I’ve been locked in my room for most of this war. I’m just now getting out of it to walk around and explore. All I can say is she likes causing trouble and chaos for people. I don’t know the true intentions behind this gag of hers. But I do know you can close the portal for good with enough concentrated heat” Arcadia replies while watching sheep walking out of the portal in single file.

“Hey you think you could give us like a thirty-day supply of these monsters?” Alex asks.

“Sure thing” Arcadia replies while conjuring them a massive supply of energy drinks.

Zephyr who was leaning on Ryan at the time feels curious and takes one of the cans from the pile and opens it. She takes a sip and spazzes out in distaste for the drink.

“You don’t like it?” Ryan asks while rubbing her shoulder.

“I don’t know. It tastes weird. I wasn’t expecting a fizzy taste. Let me try another sip” She says while taking a big sip.

Alex stands up and walks over to her in places her sword in front of herself and leans on it. “So what do you think of the second taste?” Alex asks.

Zephyr stands still and examines the second sip she just took. “I honestly I don't know” Zephyr says while handing the can back over to Ryan.

“Zephyr we really should get going back to Staug” Arcadia suggests.

“Oh, that’s right. Ryan I love you and I’ll miss you. I’ll come back and see you all at a later time. Please take care of yourself” Zephyr said while hugging him in a hurry. Arcadia then opens up a portal with her staff and they walk through it.

Ryan and Alex just stand there and start moving the cans of energy drink to the campsite.

Alex then takes Ryan’s phone and starts playing “Bodies” By Drowning Pool again. They then proceed with the killings.

5 hours later they both stop as the sun was setting. Alex who was feeling frustrated at this quest decides to kill 3 more sheep. On the third sheep her eyes glow blue.

She just leveled up.

“Wait what? Sweet! Level 41!” Alex yells in excitement. She then bursts into a dance.

“Holy crap that’s amazing! I’m proud of you Alex” Ryan says while taking out his phone.

He then points it her and opens up and scans her.

Ryan who was wanting to see her stats for some reason couldn’t. He watches her sit down and meditate.

“Ahh yes two points. One is going into my Vitality and the other one is going into my Strength” Alex says while spending her points. She then gets up and smiles.

“Why can’t I see your stats?” Ryan bluntly asks while holding his phone at her.

“Ha-ha because of my sword” She says with an evil smirk.

“I’m only asking because I was curious as to what your building” Ryan replies.

“Ahh Well I’m building strength and vitality. When I get like three or four points during a level up I’ll spend them in agility or intelligence occasionally” Alex explains to him while she cuts out the hearts on the sheep she just killed.

“Okay then… Acura” Ryan says with a joking tone.

“….. How do you know my-” Alex replies back.

“Haha Your first name appears on my scan app as Acura” Ryan teases while making fun of her first name.

“Don’t Fucking call be by that name! I hate that name! That is my dead name. I only go by Alex now Ryan” She screams.

“Oh I’m sorry. I was only joking. I didn’t expect you to get overly angry by that” Ryan says.

“I hated that name my mom gave me. I still do. I just want to be called Alex. Can you please not ever call me that again? I don’t call you “Butt Destroyer” do I?” Alex says.

Ryan flinches in regret.

“Good point. I wont ever call you that again” Ryan says while walking over to the hearts on the ground and throwing them into his Void Storage vault.

He then walks back to the tent and sits down next to Alex by the fire.

“Put on season three of The Grime adventures of Billy and Mandy. I need to go use the bathroom” Alex says in a frustrated tone. She then proceeds to get up and walk away from the camp site.

She returns 15 minutes later and they lay down inside the tent and they both Resume binge watching their show they started a week ago.

Fast forward to 30 days later they we almost finished. They now had a catch of 52,100 hearts.

In those 30 days they had pushed themselves really hard on this grind. They were losing their minds and looking forward to the shows they would watch at the end of the day to keep them sane.

Seven days later on the last day of the grinding they wake up and get back to work.

Late in the afternoon Arcadia, Zephyr, Kannell and Citra secretly show up to their camp and can’t believe what they saw. From a distance they watched Alex and Ryan slaughter Sheep in perfect sync. They were blasting the song “Live To Win” by Paul Stanly. On Global mode.

The wind was blowing hard and there was a thunderstorm in the horizon coming and the girls just sat on the side of the field watching them work as a team to finish collecting the last batch of 50 sheep hearts.

They were moving fast and tearing down sheep and ripping the hearts out with excellent precession. As it started Raining and the thunder started roaring through the plain the girls all headed inside the tent.

Through the open flap of tent, they watched them push hard and cut down sheep like crazy. Citra and Kannell get bored and strike up a conversation.

“So they almost collected Sixty Thousand sheep hearts? Holy crap these two have no lives” Kannell says

“Harvesting that amount is a huge commitment. I proud of those two” Citra replies back to her.

On the last sheep Ryan and Alex get down on one knee and raise their fists to the sky and Ryan blasts a black sheep with a fire spell. The whole field goes up in flames while a lightning strike hits a tree less than a half mile away. This adds the best effect to the girls’ point of view.

Alex and Ryan then hug each other and go down to the muddy ground and feel the cool rain cool them off.

“It’s finally over! The suffering is finally over!” Alex screams in joy.

“I guess it’s time to go meet with Simon” Ryan says while feeling his blood beat all throughout his throbbing body.

He gets up and helps Alex. They both walk to their tent and see the girls were waiting for them with a hot meal ready.

“Congrats you two. We had Breanna make you Beef Wellington” Arcadia said with a cheerfully.

“Thank you all this is the greatest way to end this sucky task of this quest” Ryan says while taking off his muddy clothes in front of the other girls. Zephyr who was holding a clean pair of clothes gets hands them to him and helps get him changed. Alex who didn’t have a change of clothes sits on a towel and cleans her hands. They then dig in and start talking.

The girls didn’t stay too long, they had important business that involved Liz and Queen Lake. Zephyr and Ryan cuddle for a little bit and Arcadia Opens up a portal for Alex and Ryan to use to go see Simon. Them Arcadia opens up a portal for them to Gainer. She then teleports over to the Aquifer Dungeon over in Tourterra and gets in line with the other adventures looking for groups.
