Suddenly, a glowing blue light enveloped me. Before I could even think, I found myself in a new location: A F***ING CAGE!!! I then saw who summoned me: it was a young girl!

She was wearing a beautiful blue dress with that went down to her ankles. She had pretty green eyes and light brown hair that reached her shoulders. She had a short stature, about 5'2", and appeared to be about 10 years old.

Judging from the way she is dressed, I think I can assume that she is a noble of some sort, perhaps even royalty! Oh, she's talking to someone. Hey, why do you look so scared? What is it?! IS THERE SOMETHING ON MH FACE?!?!

Wait...she's pointing at me a shaking...I'M SCARING HER??!

I suddenly notice that there is a mirror on the wall. Reflecting off of it is a horrifying sight: there's a HUGE snake with pitch black scales! It has creepy orange eyes and is giving off an faintly visible reddish purple aura, and it is AT LEAST 8 or 9 feet long! IS THAT ME?!?!

...I look badass...

I suddenly glow with a red light and my body begins to change. Surprisingly, it isn't painful this time!

Then it hit me...WHY AM I EVOLVING AGAIN?!?! ALL I DID WAS GET A NAME!!!

Screw it! I'll just roll with it!

*BOOOOOOOOMMM*

A massive shockwave emits from my body as the red light fades. I then look in the mirror again and I am shocked: I BECAME A FREAKIN' BASILISK!!! I then made the mistake of looking at my own eyes. Basilisks can kill with their eyes!

Crap.

I collapse to the ground, my life force beginning to drain, when I get a notification.

I feel myself coming back to life, ever so slowly. Once I have recovered, I noticed that the Princess and the man standing with her are staring at me in shock. The man tries to say something, but I don't understand him. Then, the Princess begins to talk, and I somehow understand her! Perhaps it's because of the familiar contract!

"Do you understand me?"

I nod my head.

The Princess gasps, and then calms down.

"Why did one as powerful as you accept the familiar contract of a failure like me?"

Huh? Failure? Seriously? Wait, one of her titles is seriously "Failure Princess"!

I speak back to her through the telepathy created by our contract.

"I didn't have a choice: I looked at my eyes in the reflection and nearly died."

The Princess's jaw drops, and she stares at me. She then starts laughing.

"What's so funny?!"

"I've never heard of a Basilisk nearly killing itself with it's own stare! Hahahahah!!"

Grrrr...this girl...WHY DID I HAVE TO BECOME A FAMILIAR!!!????
