《Im a Kobold, So what》Chapter 30 Peace and Tranquility

[Hey Max how many days do we have before the next tournament begins]? {The tournaments are separated by three days each and since you spent on of those days drunk you have only two days left}. [Hey I was being productive yesterday]. {You were drunkenly singing as my brain cells slowly died a horrible death}. [As long as your brain cells dying causes your lecturers to be shorter than I'd say I've been really productive]. {Crimson I swear}. Max had that tone of someone when they wonder what they're going to do with something.
"HEY KOBOLD" -SPLAT- A rotten tomato splats on the ground in front of me. "We don't like how you cheated on the tournament, drop out now or else". [Or else what]? "Well uh... throw more tomato's at you that's what". [Yeah no can you leave me alone laziness doesn't accomplish itself]. "WHY YOU, ATTACK"! A barrage of rotten tomatoes flew at me.
(Skill Activated: Gust)
-SPLAT SPLAT SPLAT- The strong wind blew the tomatoes back at the mob. "RUN" "TAKE COVER"! It was to late rotten tomato juice was splashed everywhere. [Wow Karma really is a nasty thing isn't it]. With those words of wisdom, I left the mob of people and headed towards the waiting room. {What are you doing}? [Making sure Kan is alright]. I walk in, the doors swing open as stares of envy and hate were directed towards me. "HEY CRIMSON"! [Hey Conan how's Kan]? "He's finally awake but he started freaking out when he realized two of his appendages were cut off we even still have his arm and leg he refused to get rid of". [Hey that gives me an idea can I meet him]? "Sure he is over here".
Conan leads me to a large table which seats Kan and an elderly Lycanthrope. "Alright Crimson here they are this is Kan and this is elder greybeard". [Wait who names their child greybeard]? "That's not actually his name it's Palar but everybody calls him that since the fur on his face looks like a grey beard". I guess it makes sense he was a brown Lycanthrope with grey fur on his chin. "Hey, Kan this is the Kobold who saved you". "So your the reason I'm still alive even if I would just be better off dead".

*Wow what an attitude* He was a black Lycanthrope with green eyes and long claws but his attitude was awful. "You youngins need to learn respect". -BOP- The elder smacks Kan on the head with a walking stick. "I can't walk I can't fight how should I live my life and all because of these damn humans who can't play fair". [What's he talking about]? Conan speaks up, "He surrendered before his limbs were chopped off but the judge ignored it and the match continued". I had the feeling this was the case I can't deny there are evil monsters, in fact, many should just go and die for the acts they commit but seriously the humans are just becoming what they despise and no one cares, except Joe he's cool*.
[I might know a way to reattach your limbs]. -Wait really-? Kan had hopeful eyes while he stared at me. [Well yeah but... it's kind of a brutal way plus theirs no guarantee it works]. "Please do I'm not staying a cripple for the rest of my life". [Alright but you should bite down on this]. I give him a price of cloth from my magic bag. "Okay but why". [Trust me]. "Fine" He bites on the price of cloth with a confused look.
Before he could react I switched my staff to a sword and chopped the stump off of his arm. "GRMMM" Kan chomps down on the cloth as blood gushes from the wound. I stick the cut off arm to the bleeding stump as I gather up my magic.
(Skill Activated: Greater Heal)
The flesh formed from nowhere reattaching the limb to its former place. Kan heavily pants as his pain subsides. "YOU COULDN'T HAVE WARNED ME FIRST"! [If I did would you be prepared to go through with it]? He falls silent, seems like I hit the mark. [Do you still want to go through with the legs treatment]? "Better that then being crippled". We go through the same process to reattach his missing limb. "That hurt like hell". [Well at least you have a manly story to tell others]. "You do realize I'm a female right".

[Ahh] I fall silent I never realized it and fear gripped my heart. [Uhh well Uhm yeah]. "Really you don't seem too sure of it". I just stay silent for a bit. After a couple of rough seconds, I let out a reluctant sigh. [Nope I didn't know especially when Conan refers to you as he]. She sighs "Ever since childhood that's how Conan referred to me since I was mistaken as a male so often". I give an angry look at Conan who just snickers. Conan speaks up, "It's not their fault you as flat as a ma-" -BAM- Kan's fist buries right into Conan's cranium I could swear I even heard some cracking.
Kan speaks with a feral look in her eyes. "If you don't stop joking about that I swear I will be the death of you". "Calm down you two" The elder spoke up trying to calm them down. [Are they always like this]? "They're actually on pretty good behavior right now". Me and elder Greybeard were chatting to each other as Kan stated kicking Conan repeatedly.
We talk for a while until the sun starts to set. We chat about fighting styles and previous journeys. I learned that Greybeard was quite the agile fighter in his youth and how Kan and Conan traveled quite a bit of training together. The elder starts talking "We should head out we need to leave for our clan tomorrow morning. [You're leaving already]? A depressed feeling Wells up inside me. They have been the first group of monsters I could call friends ever since I left. "Don't be like that" Conan started noticing the sadness in my voice. "If you ever come to our clan we will make sure you have a place to stay". "Yep" Kan joins in "We will make sure that you're treated well". The elder joins to "If you ever pass by be sure to stop in, we will always welcome the freak of nature". [STOP CALLING ME THAT]. They all start laughing as I'm flusters from their teasing.
"Well, it's time for us to go see you in another time than" They all wave as I wave back seated in the booth. [Looks like we have another destination Max]. {Yeah but I feel left out you know}. [When the time comes I'll show you to them but for now, we need to keep our powers a secret your words not mine]. He sighs as I head towards the inn.
{Only one day left you know}. [Yeah I'm hoping we can get some fun fights]. {Your opponents should be around the same level as Joe but I don't think they will all have the same skill level}. [That's dissapointing]. {Well we can see who we get out up against when it comes, for now, you should get some sleep}. [Alright than good night]. {Night}. I drift off to sleep with plans for the next day running through my mind.

Azarinth Healer
A new world with nearly unlimited possibilities. A status, classes, magic and monsters. Sounds good? Well, for Ilea it didn't come quite as expected as for some other protagonists, nor was there a king or god to welcome her. The grand quest? Well, she might figure that out someday but for now, a new world with new food is prize enough. Her fists at the ready, she's prepared to punch and get punched, however long it takes and however many limbs she might have to regrow. A story I've started writing now quite a while ago. Transported to another world, somewhat standard fantasy setting with my beginner attempts to make it dark but funny. There are Litrpg elements here but I do hope it's not too heavy and annoying. The fights should be interesting and aren't just numbers vs numbers. Contrary to the title the protagonist will be quite an offensive fighter. Ilea Spears is your average sarcastic kick-boxing fast food worker and soon to be student. She will be transported to another world rather conventionally and will be confronted with survival in the wild. Give it a shot and let me know what you think. My experience is incredibly lacking. If you find yourself hating it early on, do convey your anger in a detailed comment or review :) I want to get better but without any feedback it's simply quite difficult. Quick heads up: Around chapter 120 there are a bunch of longer PoV changes that I discontinued again shortly after. The Arc around chapters 150-200 is darker than the rest and the themes shift quite a bit. Just know that it goes back to what you've come to know after that section. Thank you for reading. Quick update June 2019: Many complaints regarding the formatting, specifically spacing in conversations and of course the usage of the present tense in the first 36 chapters have been addressed. I'm of course learning by the day but compared to how it was before it should be an improvement at least. Chapters usually around 3k words Cover art by Kevin Catalan
