For those that are of the non magical community and just have knowledge of the supernatural world, you have no need to worry since the first thing everyone should the in order to be effected by a magical virus you first have to be of magical origin of course if you have magic running through your veins like, witches, warlocks and wizards would be affected. Since the magical virus requires the consumption of magic to spread and grow.

Of course where these diseases and viruses come from a lot of them come from the same place as any regular disease, in the common man they get infected with something like the cold, if they get in close contact with a magical beast and sometimes the infection mutates to live in the bodies of magical beings. Then there are witches and wizards that can still get normal diseases and if they use alot of magic while they are infected then there is an increasing chance of the mutation.

However, there have been a number of infectious diseases that have originated from the magical world which then made their way into the mundane. Where these diseases first came from we have no definite origin but we have some theories.

The Dancing Epidemic struck Strasbourg, France, and right next to the German border in 1518. There came multiple reports, talking about how women began dancing on the streets unable to control their actions. It didn’t stop with women soon enough men and children were also seen across the region dancing and had affected over 400 people at the time. But this wasn’t the only time as the same uncontrollable dancing had affected common man as similar happening hit villages down the Rhine in 1374.

From our record of the time the fairy people had a very similar disease that caused them to continually dance right up until they died, it devastated the fairy population. Or though fairies have many settlements across the world and tend to be very secretive we assume that the fairies went to a witch, someone who was a magical doctor or a human in the weakened state of the fairies, managed to make it into the settlement and managed to catch this illness.

Another that we know about is Cat and Dog the Nun Epidemic that happened across france and Germany in the 15th century, this one seemed to affect nun most of all, but this one was easily enough it was the were community they had a magical disease that caused them to act like their were form while in human form, so were cat acted like cats, as werewolf acted like a dogs. I didn’t really affect the Were-being population, as it didn’t cause death, just a bit of weird acting. As they were in close contact at the time, as they were trying to turn the christian religion on the vampires which went well.

So the best practise to take in time of illness is to go out and spread as far and wide as possible letting only the strong survive, also we can report on it and everything else that happens afterwards to the civil disintegration, policial finger pointing and war. Of course that’s what we’d like to say but the Council has become quite efficient at hiding or curing these diseases and informs everyone at a young age to be responsible and to call their doctor.
