《The Legend of The Grandmaster》Chapter 25

" Father, you were so cool! "
Yu Yan's eyes sparkled brightly; as she yelled. The little girl was not scared; instead, she wanted to be strong just like him. Even she herself did not know that her eyes color had changed from black to icy blue during Yu Xiaogang's fight.
Yu Xiaogang laughed after hearing his daughter praising him, which father wouldn't want his daughter to believe that her father is the strongest.
" Let's eat. " Yu Xiaogang came forward and rubbed her head before he picked up the pieces of wood to light up a fire to cook the food. The little girl sensibly ran to the distance and returned with the vegetables and meat in her hands.
By the time she returned, Yu Xiaogang had already lit the fire and placed all the vegetables in the pot and placed it over the fire, and in the meantime, he roasted the meat.
After a few minutes, both father and daughter sat down and happily ate the vegetable soup and roasted meat. Although from the outside, it looked that Yu Xiaogang was as keen as Little Yan to swallow the food, he was replaying his fight with Tang Xiao in his mind.
Although he won the fight, Yu Xiaogang felt that he was too arrogant during the battle. Same as Tang Xiao, he also was the young master of a great clan, and he knew there are many methods for a great clan to deal with a Titled Douluo, let alone the present him; moreover, Tang Xiao was not alone; he had companions to help him in the battle.
Yu Xiaogang himself was not afraid to fight against all of them together, but two of them could stall him for a period of time, and the remaining person could harm his baby daughter.
It was, for this reason, Yu Xiaogang acted swiftly and did not give his opponent the chance to react, moreover even though he is a battle type spirit-master, Yu Xiaogang controlled the course of the fight. He did not give his opponents the time to think, and this is precisely the reason he beat a spirit-sage just in a few moves.

Yu Xiaogang and Yu Yan resumed their journey after eating the food, and they talked throughout while walking. It was mainly the little girl asking questions and Yu Xiaogang answering.
Yu Xiaogang was surprised after hearing the questions Little Yan put forward today; for the first time, she had shown interest in the battles. Previously although Yu Xiaogang taught her comprehensively, Yu Yan showed almost no interest in learning the fighting skills.
Only Yu Xiaogang knows how pleased he was after hearing his daughter's questions, and he patiently explained to her each aspect of the battle from taking into account his opponent's weakness and making the best use of your surroundings during a fight. Yu Yan attentively listened and nodded her head a few times as if showing that she had understood the meaning behind his words.

A depressing feeling lingered around the three people on the other side of the forest. They were precisely Ah Yin, Tang Hao, and his brother Tang Xiao, who was heavily injured by Yu Xiaogang in the battle recently.
After leaving Yu Xiaogang and his daughter, they traveled for a few hours before resting in the outer region of the forest, and if they had walked for another hour, the three of them would have left the forest and reached the foot of the mountains.
Tang Hao had carried his unconscious brother the whole time on his back, and they finally stopped after Ah Yin's repeated reminder; this warmed up Tang Hao's heart because he knew she was doing it for him.
He took out a rough quilt and spread it on the ground before placing his brother on it. Tang Hao's face looked gloomy every time he saw the bandage over his brother's left eye. He knew from the moment Tang Xiao was injured; it would become almost impossible for him to reach a Titled Douluo's level.
The guilt of not helping his brother tormented his heart.
Ah Yin seemed to sense his thoughts, and she sat beside him and held his hand to comfort him. Tang Hao's body trembled as he felt a soft hand touching his hand. He looked, and his gaze met with Ah Yin's tender look; for a moment, Tang Hao forgot all his troubles and just stared at the cold blue eyes filled with love.

Although they had confessed their love for each other not long ago, yet her face started blushing as she felt Tang Hao's breathing getting faster and his heating up as he looked at her.
" Let's eat something; we have had nothing since morning. " Ah Yin bounced away as she spoke and took out some vegetables from her storage tool to cook.
Tang Hao's face showed his reluctance to let go of her hand, and there was only one thought in his mind, " How good would it be to stay forever like this with Ah Yin. " His face showed a certain determination as he looked at the beautiful woman preparing the food.
After a while, Ah Yin brought two bowls of vegetable porridge and handed one of them to him. Although the porridge was a bit bland yet, Tang Hao could pat his chest and say, " This is the most delicious porridge he had ever eaten. "
Ah Yin's face bloomed with a lovely smile as she saw him gobbling up the porridge. She could not help but remind him, " Eat slowly; it is still hot. "
Amidst this happy mood, Ah Yin suddenly spoke, " Brother Hao, before Yu Xiaogang fought, he secretly handed me a note saying, " Meet me at the Blue Tyrant Academy in Heaven Dou City. "
Tang Hao's mood suddenly got worse after hearing Yu Xiaogang's name, and before he could speak, she interrupted him and continued, " He said it is related to my life. "
He immediately closed his mouth and swallowed the words which were going to come out of his mouth but, Tang Hao was still a bit suspicious about Yu Xiaogang's intention for calling both of them to the Blue Tyrant Academy.
Ah Yin softly added, " Maybe Yu Xiaogang's daughter is also a spirit beast, and he may know something important considering the fact he has God bestowed spirit rings. "
After hearing this, Tang Hao's anger reduced, but his face still looked a bit unpleasant as he gazed back at his sleeping brother. Ah Yin's face had complex emotions as she looked at Tang Xiao; she couldn't believe his actions, but the reality was in front of her.
" You know, Yu Xiaogang showed mercy and did not use his complete power while fighting against Tang Xiao. " Ah Yin suddenly spoke.
Although arrogant, Tang Hao was smarter as compared to his brother and clearly understood the meaning behind Ah Yin's words. Yes, if Yu Xiaogang wanted to kill Tang Xiao, he could have done the instant he blasted him off, but Yu Xiaogang didn't; instead, he showed mercy.
Tang Hao finally decided to meet him after reaching Heaven Dou City and decided to keep it a secret from his brother. He also carefully thought and decided it would be best if Ah Yin didn't follow them back to the clan.

Yu Xiaogang and Yu Yan stopped after traveling for the whole day, and Yu Xiaogang estimated that with their current speed, both of them would reach the city within the next two days.
As they got near to the city, Yu Xiaogang couldn't help but think of the charming silhouette with long red hair and enchanting scarlet eyes.
He couldn't help but look up at the stars shining brightly in the pitch-black sky. It was similar to the night he got married to her.
" Erlong! " Yu Xiaogang muttered to himself and did not know that as he got closer to the city, a certain person felt restless.
#
" Xiaogang, where are you? " A lovely woman with a well-developed figure sitting outside a simple cabin muttered to herself as tears flowed down her cheeks.

Dark Lands: The Exile and the Prince
A short time has passed since the siege on Ruined Home has been lifted and as the survivors of the battered encampment slowly begin to rebuild their new home, Aurelius has returned from a failed troll hunt. Yet despite the battered prince’s failures, he has set into motion a series of events that will forever change his life. Meanwhile, Iskra has found herself at the helm of a far more favorable position and begins to forge a path that will lead her towards the first steps of a long road of revenge. Author’s Note: This is the direct sequel to the first Dark Lands story and as time goes on I will update the synopsis to help bring further detail about the story. For now however, I hope you all enjoy what is about to be written. Eight Years Arc: Eight Years have passed since Aurelius and Iskra have first met one another, and a lot has changed since then. The vast majority of Aurelius’ family has been slaughtered by the hands of none other than his oldest brother, a man that the golden haired prince had spent the past several years to hunt down and kill all in the name of vengeance. Upon his return, the kin-slaying prince has found that some things have changed during his absence. Iskra, his first wife and love of his life, has proclaimed that she no longer cares about the events that have been unfolding in her former homeland for the last several years and states that she is solely focused on raising her children. Yet it is through learning that the High Elves have taken a keen interest in the once magically-absent lands of Ranislava that Aurelius decides that action must be taken and thus he journeys south to learn more about what his distant kin are up to in such a backwater region of the world. Who he will meet and what he will do will turn the tides of fate, but in whose favor is something that only the Gods will know. (The Eight Years arc is something that was designed to be written in a way where people don't have to feel the need to go back to the very beginning of the Dark Lands story in order to know what is going on or who the characters are.)
