Its the day after the coronation of Reinlas and he can still hardly believe that it happened in a castle his people built for him, he imagined it would've happened way later. Regardless of how amazed he is he goes out side and walks through the castle to the front door to the grand hall so he can go outside on his way he sees that guards have already been assigned he knows his brother had done that. When he goes outside he sees his brother.

"Farenhale, up early aren't you considering last night." Reinlas says

"Aye I am but mainly because Itanrora and Yaitera are leaving soon and I didn't want them to leave before you woke so I asked them to wait so we could give a proper goodbye." Farenhale says

"Then lets go and let them stop waiting" Reinlas says

Reinlas and Farenhale speed down the mountain and through the town to the docks that Itanrora and Yaitera along with their young child Keireen wait at on their boat. Both Itanrora and Yaitera see Farenhale and Reinlas stop speeding and walk normally across the docks to the boat.

"Finally up King Reinlas?" Itanrora says jokingly

"That will definitely take time getting used to I'll tell you that" Reinlas says

"Aye we understand that Reinlas, it took both me and Itanrora quite a while to get used to that but it was harder to get used to being a parent with little Keireen here" Yaitera says

"How has your kingdom been anyway?" Reinlas asks

"Yeah I've been curious about that myself" Farenhale says

"Its been alright so far small animal threats but overall we've been fine and expanding" Itanrora says

"I know how the place looks but have any threats to your kingdom appeared yet Reinlas?" Yaitera asks

"So far none but I have guards trained as well as mages training because I have sensed danger but the worst to come of it was a mining accident luckily no one was harmed" Reinlas says

"Well I'd say that is good as back home we've had crime and some tensions between our kingdom and the neighbouring kingdom has caused some trouble" Yaitera says

"I hadn't even thought about crime, as no crimes have been reported and guards have checked but as odd as it sounds no crimes have taken place at all" Reinlas says

"That can't be right, no crime whatsoever and no threats? Every other kingdom has had crime or some threat EXCEPT you. Why?" Itanrora asks

"I have no idea as I said before I sensed coming danger but all that cam of it so far was the mine incident and the people have got along well we even found a new metal and given it a name so all in all we've had no problems except again the mine" Reinlas says

Itanrora and Yaitera seem to be in a small bit of disbelief but think about all they have seen while they were here but then they have an inquisitive look.

"This metal you mentioned what did you name it?" Itanrora says

"Geirniam, Why?" Reinlas asks

"In case we come across the metal in our kingdom can we have a piece of it so we know if we do find it so we can keep the name?" Itanrora says

"Sure we have been exploring different things that we can do with the metal in fact the armour I wear is completely made from it as the metal is special in both its physical and magical properties" Reinlas says

Reinlas quickly goes to get a piece of Geirniam and returns to hand it to Itanrora.

"Here is a piece of the metal" Reinlas says

"You mentioned its magical properties what do you mea-"

Itanrora is cut off by the sound of a few screams in the distance and Reinlas, Farenhale, Itanrora and Yaitera all speed over to find some strange creatures fighting the guards one of them being Linra, these creatures had a strange magical aura to them that Reinlas sensed and he noticed how sharp and powerful their claws were when they ripped through Linra's armour like paper but before these creatures could kill these guards Reinlas and Farenhale speed in to black the attack with their own blades.

"Go run! We'll take care of these creatures" Reinlas says to the Linra and the other guards

The Linra and the other guards run to Itanrora and Yaitera who are ready to jump in to fight if needed as Reinlas and Farenhales blades clash with the claws of these creatures, Farenhale and Reinlas move away from each other to separate the creatures so they can focus on their own fights. The creature lunges at Reinlas and he ducks but as the creature goes overhead he stabs into the creature but the second the creature lands it swings its arm to claw at Reinlas and he blocks it and summons a small blade to stab the creature.

"The hell are these things? and why do I sense so much magical power?" Reinlas says to himself

The creature goes for another attack and again Reinlas blocks it and uses his magic to shoot fire at the creature and it works well and Reinlas keeps attacking with his blade to make sure he kills this thing when it drops dead after a final stab. Reinlas runs back over to Farenhale who is still fighting his own creature and shoots fire at it killing it.

"What the hell are these things?" Farenhale asks

"I have no clue but if you can sense it, they have strong magical properties which is something we need to investigate" Reinlas says

"Agreed" Farenhale says

"Someone get over here quickly!" Itanrora shouts

Reinlas and Farenhale immediately run over and find Linra is on the ground.

"Is she hurt to badly?" Farenhale asks

Reinlas quickly looks at where the armour was ripped through.

"It seems to not be a deep cut and she shouldn't be this hurt from it..." Reinlas says

Reinlas starts scanning Linra with his magic and realises what's happened.

"Poison, from the beasts claws..." Reinlas says

Everyone looks at each other not knowing what to do until Reinlas has an idea.

"I know a small bit of healing magic that may just do the trick but I need you three to keep a constant source of magic flowing though her to amplify my own when it reaches her. Understood?"

They all agree and start the process, it takes a little time but slowly Linra starts to look better as the poison starts to disappear with the cut also being healed but she'll still feel pain for a while.

"That should do it. Linra can you hear me?" Reinlas asks

"I can but it is still rather painful I am glad to be alive and thankful you know healing magic my king" Linra says

"I'm glad we were able to save you from the poison in the first place, when you feel ready we can help you to your home" Reinlas says

"Thank you my king" Linra says

"Now lets get one of those creatures bodies we need to find out what they are and where they came from" Reinlas says

Reinlas and Farenhale go to get one of the bodies and Farenhale brings it to the castle while Reinlas helps Linra to her house.

"I really must thank you again my king" Linra says

"You have no need to Linra in fact I should be thanking you for fighting these creature in the first place, I know that's what you trained to do but still you fought them bravely and nearly died because of it so we all owe you and the other guards so thank you" Reinlas says

Linra doesn't know what to say and Reinlas speeds off to the castle while she watches him go and eventually goes into her house.

A few minutes pass...

The creatures body has been placed in a secure room and Reinlas, Farenhale and Itanrora are there to examine the body, while Yaitera is back on the ship with the baby.

"First of all we should take a sample of the poison to examine after the body so we can find an effective cure for it" Reinlas says

They agree and take a sample of the poison from the claws of the creature and then Reinlas begins to scan the body of the creature to find out why it has the magical properties it has.

"Strange the magic I could sense is foreign to its body like something caused the magic to be apart of the creature when it hadn't been a part of it before" Reinlas says

"What could so that?" Itanrora says

"I have a guess but I want to make sure by checking the poison" Reinlas says

Reinlas checks the poison and finds out its a combination of common plants around the area but he senses this should have taken millions of years to do but it happened in a few months and binding it to a creature should have taken longer.

"Hmm as I thought this creatures magic and poison came to be because of our people" Reinlas says

"What... what do you mean?" Farenhale asks

"By our people I mean our race as a whole when we came into existence immense magic stormed through the land and caused some unforseen damage number one being the creature we see before us and number two being the poison being made and its binding to the creature" Reinlas says

"But how does the magic spreading through the world cause that?" Itanrora says

"From what I can sense the magic fused the plants from the area to fuse into the poison which courses through the creature and then the combination of those plants were magically fused into some of these creatures causeing the poison in their claws and the foreign magic" Reinlas says

"That makes sense from how you put it" Farenhale says

"Do you think these creatures could be elsewhere?" Itanrora says

"I truly dont know my friend but I'd advise you get home to your kingdom and find out so you can warn your people if they are there" Reinlas says

Itanrora agrees and goes with Reinlas and Farenhale to the docks so he can sail home to his kingdom but first he tels Yaitera what was found out and she seems shocked and agrees they need to get home.

"Goodbye Farenhale and goodbye Reinlas!" Yaitera and Itanrora shout

"Goodbye Yaitera and goobye Itanrora!" Reinlas and Farenhale shout as they leave

Soon after the departure the brothers announce the danger of the creatures and they are so dangerous so that people know of the danger and that the guards who didnt know yet were able to be prepared and know that these creatures are out there.
