The day after Syremai, Kytal and Dykrama arrived in Reinholm castle, they are currently in a room which is being heavily watched by guards but they are free to look around the castle as long as those guard keep watching them.

"I am still confused about one thing from when we escaped" Syremai says

"The thing that chased us?" Kytal asks

"Yeah, that thing whatever it is gave one hell of a chase and was definitely aggressive" Syremai says

"Indeed, did you get the chance to scan it?" Kytal asks

"Well I was focussed on survival more but I couldn't sense anything from it so a scan likely wouldn't have done much" Syremai says

"I couldn't smell anything either though the wind from the speed we were going would have confused it somewhat" Kytal says

"Well I wonder if that thing will show up again, maybe its another secret war beast" Syremai says

"Wouldn't surprise me" Kytal says

Reinlas walks into the room and looks at the three, Dykrama waves at him.

"Hello Reinlas" Both Kytal and Syremai say

"Hello" Dykrama says

"What forced you three to escape? I was going to ask yesterday for details but my mind got too destroyed by the situation" Reinlas says

"We were all pretty much tortured a lot, all three races of war beasts" Syremai says

"The reasons varied, failure, training, experimentation and the list just goes on" Kytal says

"Skin hurt a lot" Dykrama says

"Oh yeah, for the delantramites their metal skin is done through magic and a bonding process but it can be done wrong putting them in eternal pain, the same can be achieved with bad metal and also they know jsut how to remove it making pain all the easier" Syremai says

"Fucking bastards" Reinlas says as his eyes turn red

"Then for example they'd kill someone you care for" Syremai says causing Kytal to look down

"Indeed" Kytal says

Reinlas scans them all to determine the truth and even looks into their memories though finds difficulty with syremai.

"I believe you three even if I couldnt see what was going on with Syremai" Reinlas says

"That'd be because we have a built immunity to scanning and seeing our memories unless we want someone to see them" Syremai says

Reinlas thinks for a moment.

"I will lessen the guards, you are free to look around and jsut be here, cause no trouble though this kingdom is having a hard time even believing half of the things going on including you three and the others" Reinlas says

"Alright" Syremai, Kytal and Dykrama say

"I would appreciate any information you can give on Keireens kingdom though" Reinlas says

Syremai uses his magic and all paper in the room begins to get writing on it, maps, documents everything useful for information on Keireens kingdom is inscribed onto it.

"Here" Syremai says as he gives it all to Reinlas

"Ok I won't lie I'm impressed, this is easily a mountain of information" Reinlas says

"Its what we Tykema were made to do, gain information" Syremai says

Reinlas looks at one of the documents that has a drawing of the mist creature that chased them.

"What is this?" Reinlas asks

"Oh yeah, we got chased to the border when we escaped whatever that fucking thing is it is fast, aggressive and deadly" Syremai says

"Some soldiers from the border did report being attacked by it seconds after presumably you three jumped over both lines, most of those who were in the mist got killed " Reinlas says

"Shit, we're sorry to hear that" Syremai says

"Whatever it is, it will be dealt with" Reinlas says as he walks out of the room with all the information given to him by Syremai

The guards outside disperse to their natural positions across the castle and city as a whole rather than guard the war beasts when Reinlas orders it. Reinlas goes to the war room and adds all the new information to the map on the war table, reports and strategies. He sees that theres some villages near the current border hidden in a mroe forested area.

"Hmm that could be where the enemy soldiers go to rest and heal then their replacements come in while they rest and heal from there, if we get rid of that possibility then they'd have to rely on city healers and teleport further expending more magic. Along with this we'd free the people there from Keireens influence and general tyranny" Reinlas thinks to himself

Reinlas teleports to the border and finds the current commander of the border forces.

"Vernamai" Reinlas says

The commander known as Vernamai turns around.

"Hello my king" Vernamai says

"I've gotten information about nearby villages that the enemy soldiers are likely using for resting and healing, we need to get there and take those villages to free them from keireen and ensure the enemy arrive with less magic at the border" Reinlas says

"On your orders my king" Vernamai says

"Attack the enemy!" Reinlas shouts telepathically to his soldiers and they charge towards the enemy

A clash ensues but due to the unexpected attack Reinlas's forces surprise and take down Keireens forces. Mist begins to cover the part of the army that is close to the forest and nothing is heard from it until screams from soldiers who manage to run out of the mist are heard, Reinlas quickly teleports over.

"Soldier, what happened?" Reinlas asks

"I-I dont know! S-somethings in there, something we couldn't even see except for its red eyes, I couldn't even hit whatever it was" The soldier says panicked

"Everyone hold position something is here" Reinlas says telepathically to all his soldiers

Suddenly a demonic hand with the claws of a dragon shoots out of the mist grabbing onto the soldier who escaped and drags him into the is but Reinlas grabs him pulling him back though it doesnt matter as the blade of a scythe pierces through the soldiers chest killing him and the extra leverage allows the body to be taken away into the mist. Reinlas looks into the mist and scans, he gets nothing but he sees red eyes peering at him. Reinlas draws Kylorn from his scabbard and lights his arms and kylorn on fire as extra damage and possible light in the mist without hurting himself. Reinlas walks into the mist. The sounds of soldiers chattering and the animals cease as he enters the mist, Reinlas looks around for those peering eyes as he hears it a demonic growl similar to that of a wolf as he hears it Reinlas looks in the direction he believes it comes from as he feels a sharp object stab through his stomach as he gets thrown around the mist.

"ARGH FUCK!" Reinlas shouts after hes thrown as he gets up he scans himself

"My armour is untouched yet I've been stabbed all the way through!?" Reinlas thinks to himself as he begisn to heal himself and shoots fire out in every direction

As the fire in shot out Reinlas quickly sees the red eyes appear and the fire infront of them disappears, upon seeing the eyes Reinlas speeds towards them but is quickly hit by something from hsi side throwing him into a tree he could not see, the sheer force of it breaks his arm and he feels another stab through the chest this time narrowly missing his heart and Reinlas quickly heals hsi chest and his eyes turn red causing him to heal faster and he begins to shoot more fire out in constant bursts to keep everything away but he then hears the roar of a lion as something with dragon teeth bites into hsi shoulder somehow by passing his armour and crushes the shoulder through sheer bite force. Reinlas teleports out of the msit and next to vernamai healing himself.

"King Reinlas!" Vernamai shouts as he begins to help heal him

"I have no idea whats in there but whatever it is, it managed to hurt me through my fucking armour" Reinlas says through the pain

"What are your orders my king?" Vernamai asks

"Bombard that mist with magic whatever is in there cannot dodge it all surely, also send a detachment to the villages so if this thing is under Keireens rule hopefully it will leave when we take those villages from Keireen" Reinlas says as his shoulder cracks audibly while healing

"Of coarse" Vernamai says and he runs off giving the order

Soon enough the mist get bombarded with fire, ice, rock, conjured arrows, and even boulders yet the mist persists and soon enough the red eyes in the mist can be seen much easier by everyone as conjured soldiers made of mist run out of the mist and charge their way into Reinlas's soldiers that are clustered together and explode causing more mist to cover them and soon enough dismembered limbs are tossed out where the soldiers once stood. The mist moves closer to Reinlas and a scythe comes out of the mist held by an immortalais hand, the scythe is put to Reinlas's neck.

"You wont kill me right now for multiple reasons but the first oen being" Reinlas cuts himself off and uses speed magic grabbing the scythe and yanking it out of the persons hand

"You are disarmed" Reinlas cuts himself off again as he speeds to the side narrowly dodging a horse leg from hitting his face with force enough to break it

"But not completely and you are now trying very hard to get this back, I wonder why" Reinlas says and mist soldiers run out of the mist and surround Reinlas and explode making mist surround Reinlas and putting him in a vulnerable place

As the mist encompasses the area around Reinlas the eyes dart around the mist until something on the otherside of where the eyes are hits Reinlas in the back but he keeps holding the scythe and turns around slashing at whatever the thing is and it seems to do nothign even if its there from what Reinlas hears. The red eyes begin to rush towards Reinlas but stops and looks back and all the mist converges towards the eyes away from Reinlas and other areas and the mist along with the eyes move towards the forest with the villages. Reinlas stands there holding the scythe he took from whoever or whatever is in the mist.

"Seems their mission may be to defend the villages" Reinlas thinks as he looks at the scythe

"I'd best get there" Reinlas thinks and he puts the scythe down next to the camp of his soldiers at the border and goes to the village

As he arrives he finds his soldiers being thrown around out of the msist with mist soldiers rather than exploding they are physically defending the town in a natural clash, Reinlas sees that and grabs Kylorn lightning his blade on fire and speeding into the fight taking down the mist soldiers easier he begins to sense the source of the msit soldiers, they come through the msit but from the other side of the village, Reinlas scans as he fights and identifies the woman whos controlling them and he teleports next to her.

"Apologies" Reinlas says as he punches her hard across the face

As the woman falls unconcious her mist soldiers disappear but the mist itself and the growling within including the red eyes dont leave. The red eyes move and stare at Reinlas.

"We have reached this place and you are the only enemy combatant left, you may be powerful but surrender and we will be able to take you away from Keireen" Reinlas says still prepared for a fight

The mist begins to dissipate and it all disappears after a few seconds leaving a woman with red eyes and dark heavy armour with a hooded cloak in the middle of where the mist was.

"You are right, thank you" The woman says

"This entire time she had been absolutely destroying us is she didn't surrender we would have had to make a separate strategy jsut for her" Reinlas thinks to himself

Reinlas whistles a certain way and some soldiers go over and chain the womans arms and shut down her magic, they also coem over and do the same to the knocked out woman. Both women are brought to the villages guard station to be held for the time being. Vernamai walks over.

"That ended much easier than I expected" Vernamai says

"Indeed" Reinlas says

"Why are we having them locked up though?" Vernamai asks

"Precautionary measure, I havent seen two people work this well in this fashion and have such a power force together. This surrender may be false" Reinlas says

"Fair enough my king" Vernamai says

Reinlas teleports away to the camp for his forces at the border and grabs the womans scythe and teleports to the village guard station and sits in a chair outside the cell laying the scythe across his legs. Reinlas sees the other woman is awake when he sits down.

"Ok I have some questions for you two but first off lets start with pleasantries, you know me but I do not know you" Reinlas says

"I am Scyera" The red eyed woman says

"And I am Lieran" The previously knocked out woman says

"Alright Scyera and Lieran, good to meet you both regardless of circumstances" Reinlas says

"Likewise" Lieran and Scyera say

"Scyera, this scythe you chased after it with quite a lot of vigor, why?" Reinlas asks

"Its one of the weapons I am best at using, plus its also got my parents names engraved into its handle" Scyera says

Reinlas looks at the handle and sees the names.

"Alright fair enough" Reinlas says

Reinlas looks at them again.

"So your magics are rather interesting, mind explaining them?" Reinlas says

"Mine is rather simple, every conjuration I make is made out of mist rather than just magic which causes them to be spectral, I have no real idea why, the theory I've had is that when my soul was getting its magic the msit magic and conjuration combined in some way" Lieran says

"Ok, Scyera?" Reinlas asks

"Mines a bit more complicated. first off it'd be easier to explain one thing in the mist it wasnt me throwing people around or tearing them apart, there is a creature in there its made from magic but has some limited sentience and autonomy I have named him Krenatur" Scyera says

"Interesting, can this Krenatur come out of the mist? If so what does it look like?" Reinlas asks

"I dont know if he can come out of the mist fully, he's been a bit too scared to. In regards to what he looks like though his form is constantly shifting sometimes his head will be that of a dragon while his legs are all different animals legs or he'll be a demonic form of one animal, whatever he wants I guess" Scyera says

"interesting, how did Krenatur come to be?" Reinlas asks

"Well that one I know fully, as my soul was being made and my magic was being made as well, my soul couldnt take the current magic it was generating so it expelled some of it and that magic not having a soul tried to make its own but since thats not really possible as a soul generates and contains the magic it only got a certain part of the way so it merged with my soul again when my soul could take it but a small but of that not completely made soul has limited autonomy and manifests itself in Krenatur. He likes the mist because its made from my magic therefor constant magic around so he has no fear of dying or something and it seems the magic used to make him merged into my mist magic so hes got his own mist powers similar to my own magic" Scyera says

"This is definitely unique, I do not believe I've heard of such a thing before" Reinlas says

"Indeed, though krenatur definitely helped when I was younger and started to become a soldier, no one fucks with a person who has a monster at her side" Scyera says

Reinlas laughs a little.

"Fair enough" Reinlas says

"Farenhale would be so infatuated by her magic" Reinlas thinks to himself before he gets up holding the scythe

Reinlas looks at them and scans their minds to determine if everything is true and hsi magic determines they are telling the truth.

"This your village?" Reinlas asks

"Yes" Both Lieran and Scyera says

"So it would seem by us taking it you are free of Keireen, are either of you loyal to him still? Willing to be exiled to go to his kingdom?" Reinlas asks

"We'd rather die" Both Scyera and Lieran say

Reinlas scans their minds and sees its true, he unlocks the door.

"Let them have their magic" Reinlas says

The guards stop restricting Scyera and Lierans magic, they free themselves from their chains. Reinlas holds out the Scythe for Scyera who quickly takes it and smiles looking at it.

"You need not fight for us, choose how you wish to live you two" Reinlas says

"We have friends in Keireens kingdom and dont want this place being retaken, we're going to help" Both Scyera and Lieran say

"Just given what I have seen Laraka may have a place for you both in the elite warriors" Reinlas says

"We would be honoured" Both Scyera and Lieran says

"Just be warned, actual fighting will be reprieve from his standard of training" Reinlas says

"First protect us" Lieran and Scyera say jokingly

"We'll try" Reinlas says jokingly as he teleports home wondering what may yet be thrown his way soon...
