As Reinholm continues to lose people and the infection spreads across the kingdom of Geirlanth, a group of tykema continue to follow some guard groups. They begin to wonder if these are the right people to follow as they just seem to be doing normal guard jobs and routes. One tykema looks around sensing something off when hes alone with the guards hes following but as he does Ratankira teleports next to him before he can react hes stabbed through the heart.

"Poor little creature dead before I could punish you for abandoning our great kingdom" Ratankira says before looking at the guards

"Ratankira? What happened?" The guards ask

"We have escaped tykema returning to find out something for Reinlas, continue your day as normal but if anything even smells suspicious eliminate it" Ratankira says

The guards nod and continue their patrol as Ratankira burns the Tykemas corpse. The other tykema quickly meet up outside the city when their guard groups join up and go out the city.

"You all sensed that right?" One tykema asks

"Landir just died, hard not to sense that" Another tykema says

"Konier, Konifar you sensed who it was as you were closest right?" The first tykema asks

"It was Ratankira, he knows we're here and sure as shit plans to end us before we can do anything" Konier says

"We all got to be on alert or we all die" Konifar says

The other tykema nod and break up into a loose formation and disappear as they take flight high enough to be hard to see if Ratankira keeps searching and they are low enough to still see the guards. Some of the guards break off from the main group and begin teleporting somewhere. Konier quickly flies down and slashes one of the guards as he teleports and flies back up. Konier teleports to where that guard is by tracking his blood the other tykema quickly teleport to her and they fly up away from the guards as they come to help heal their injured ally.

"Quick thinking Konier. we seem to be far away from the enemy capital now, shit ton of mountains around us. Lets hope wherever these guys are heading is where the disease is being made." Konifar says

Everyone nods and waits for the guards to start moving again though they are on high alert now. The group of tykema also begins searching the area and one finds something and quickly appears next to the others.

"Past one of the mountains theres a giant set of barriers one of them beign an illusion barrier, I saw through it and theres a giant building there and a lot of screaming" The tykema says

"Good work" Konier says

A spear comes flying out of nowhere and stabs into the heart of the tykema who found the facility, everyone immediately hardens their scales and sharpens their wings as they look at Ratankira.

"So predictable, trying to find the cure is what I guessed you were here for, all it took was one of you to find it and to lead me back" Ratankira says

"You're lucky you managed to get syremai and some others to teach you our ways or else this would be impossible for you" Konier says

"Oh most definitely but its too late to change that now" Ratankira says as he draws his blade and speeds towards them swinging the blade down and its blocked by Koniers wing

Konifar quickly breathes fire on Ratankira which makes him move back due to the intense heat, Konier takes the chance to stab a wing into Ratankiras leg and throws him back.

"Konier you go in and try to find something that can help Geirlanth, we'll deal with Ratankira!" Konifar says

Konier disappears and flies quickly towards the building melting a wall to get in, guards quickly run over to investigate but they cant see her as she moves throughout the building. Onikerm is in the main disease development room of the building and puts down a glass of poison claw venom. Konier senses him and makes her way there thinking she can find something there as she arrives onikerm leaves the room and konier goes in and inspects the different glasses of liquids trying to determine what they are. She finds the venom, and multiple other liquids.

"Shit how am I to determine the cause here?" Konier thinks to herself and she finds something familiar in one glass

"Tykema acid? Hmm, apply it to a soul and it would be painful and start to destroy the soul the way this disease destroys both body and soul though not exactly the same way. ill look into that" She takes the glass with the acid and the venom

Onikerm walks back into the room and notices the missing glasses and pulls out a blade slashing it across the room in the direction of Konier, making a screeching sound of metal against metal due to Koniers wings.

"Ah a Tykema what is your name?" Onikerm asks as he dons his insane smile

Konier appears and smacks him out of the room with her wing causing Onikerm to drop a book he had which she picks up and speed reads.

"Konier and I have the final piece of the puzzle" Konier says

"Like it will matter when you're nothing but a hardly breathing husk" Onikerm says as he uses mind control magic on Konier to try and get her to stab into herself

Konier stabs a wing through her own stomach causing her to yell in pain.

"Mind control still works the same, mine may not be as good as Ratankiras but I can still make you beg" Onikerm says as she gets on her knees

"Please..." Konier says

"Say it" Onikerm says

"Please shut up" Konier says as eh pulls her wing out and stabs both into Onikerm before disappearing again and running out the room and out the building while healing

Konier quickly dodges a blade thats thrown at her as she teleports to Ratankira and the other tykema and spites acid onto Ratankiras face causing him to scream in pain.

"Good thinking Konier. Now everyone run!" Konifar shouts as she teleports away with them to Reinholm castle

Konier sits down leaning against a wall as Farenhale walks over,

"What did you manage to get?" Farenhale asks

"Multiple of the substances they used to make it and a book with some details on the whole thing too. Onikerm got cocky" Konier says with a smirk

Farenhale takes them.

"Good work. you may have just saved us all" Farenhale says as he goes to the research room to hopefully make a cure

A week passes causing more deaths than anyone wants but by the end a cure is made and quickly distributed across the kingdom. Even if it didnt destroy the kingdom is decimated the soldiers and the kingdoms morale. During the entire incident Keireen managed to push back substantially as reinforcements for the border forces was not possible for the most part. Now though the disease is gone and everyone is angry and have their full sights set on the enemy with a rage they have yet to see from ordinary people.
