《In New Dimensions Everyday》Zombie's POV 8

Hours passed with no progress. The only achievement he made in all this time was finding out more parts of the camp. Roderick wondered why everyone was allowed to go everywhere. Soon Roderick realized they were going to be in this camp till they were cured. After the treatment, patients were sent to another safe place. But time was running out for him. If he couldn’t do till midnight what Adam had said, then he would die. He did not know how he would die because he was dead already. Maybe he was going to disappear out of blue or scatter into fragments. Whatever was going to happen wasn’t very pleasing. Strolling in sunlight made heated his body, so he did not mind the scorching sunlight fall on his skin. Small temperature sensors which were no bigger than CCTV cameras were everywhere around him. He had no idea what he was going to do in the night if he couldn’t find the prisoners till sundown. Did these people kill those captives? Roderick couldn’t help but think so again and again. A while later, he somehow stumbled to where Raphael was. It was the only chance he could get to know about the prisoners. But he had to be careful because a single doubtful question by him could light suspicion in Raphael's mind. "Mr. Raphael." Roderick called him, "Thank you for saving me." "Nevermind. This is what we do." Raphael was humble. "I was wondering what would have happened to the zombies who attack humans." "We either burn them or bury them by separating their body parts. I think you didn’t notice it when we did it after rescuing you." "I was traumatized." Roderick felt uncomfortable while lying to such a good man. But Raphael wasn’t noticing his lie, so it was fine. "What do you do with other zombies?" "So these doctors and scientists have made you curious?" Raphael asked. Hell yeah. "Not much." "Then let it be because you should watch out on what you are asking about." Smile vanished from Raphael's face. A tiny device in his shirt pocket beeped. "Stress signal from Lieutenant." Raphael whispered and rushed to an officer near him. He is alive? Goddamn it!

The Desecrator's Tomb - A Numbers Lit-aRPG
A man appears in a dungeon full of undead. He tries to leave. This is my attempt at writing a litrpg where the system is more formalized. This means that there will be a fair amount of min-maxing and we will hopefully be able to calculate the dps of every ability by the time I am done. Expect math. The main character will become a Drain Tank. This story uses an aRPG item and stat system. Oh and one last thing. Beware the penguins. update 1/8/22: I am trying to simulate things as faithfully as is reasonable. As of chapter 17 there are animated gifs depicting Chilly's life throughout encounters. update 1/11/22: Kreksyte drew me a cover! All hail our artist overlords! update 5/25/22: Going on hiatus for a bit. The second arc is complete. Will come back for the 3rd and final arc soon. update 7/15/22: ayy...I've returned. Starting the third and final arc. [was once a participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge]

Vanisher
Joshua Hall is an intelligent and promising college sophomore. But when he accidentally witnesses Sara Wilder, a new and quirky acquaintance, receive an eldritch mark of possibility from her mother, everything changes. Josh can now see marks, eldritch symbols of power brought from another plane of existence that empower the weak and the futureless, that are invisible to most. But that's not the only thing that he's seeing, as strange dreams haunt Josh's sleep and threaten to destroy his sanity. With his mind and body struggling to handle the impossible things he can now perceive, Josh has to decide: accept a mark himself, or attempt to forget everything. This is a bit of an experimental project for me, as it isn't my norm in genre or topic. Expect: -Slow build storytelling -Character details -Foreshadowing -Dialogue driven narrative -Dynamic action scenes -Some mild graphic descriptions of injury -Sexuality is a factor -No explicit content (at least not directly) -Mild body horror -Light cosmic horror Reviews and critique are highly encouraged. I am a civil and fair responder, don't be afraid to initiate a conversation.
