Roderick took the coins and went to the judge’s room and peeked inside the half-open door. Judge did not like being disturbed while he was eating. “Go away or I will call guards.” He stood from his chair to lock the door. “Wait.” Roderick pushed his way in. “I am calling security.” Judge held a bell. “Calm down. I’m leaving.” Roderick walked towards the door and opened it. “How much do you earn, your honor?” Roderick said instead of leaving the room. “Why do you ask?” “You look unsatisfied with your job.” “Somewhat.” Judge pulled a piece of meat off the bone. “Would you like to earn more?” Roderick smirked. “Bribing a judge is an offense.” “If you tell your wife that you rejected ten coins just for keeping the law, she would not feel great.” Roderick said. “Ten?” Roderick counted the coins from his pocket, “Twelve.” Judge squinted at the bell. His fingers were touching it while he kept thinking. “What do you want me to do?” the Judge removed hand from the bell. “Make us win the case.” Roderick said. Judge wiped his fingers on the table cloth and opened the casebook he had brought with him. He turned to the page of their case, which had a statement of the mirror. Judge took the quill out of inkpot and ticked it on WEAKEST. “Don’t worry.” Judge said, “I’ll rule the case on your favor. Mirror’s statement will not help them.” Roderick went out after leaving coins on the judge’s table. On his way to the hearing room he saw the devil, who had ill functioning tongue, going somewhere. He avoided conversation with the devil, who was about to ask him a question and went back to hearing-room. “He has agreed.” Roderick said in a low voice.
