/Knock knock/
‘Jonathan was cut out of his immense concentration by several knocks on the door.’
“Enter please”
/Creak.../
“Jonathan, I brought your food.”
‘It was Richard, this time, he was wearing some proper clothes similar to those of a butler although they weren't as formal as those of a butler.
He was carrying a bowl of soup as always...’
“Thank you Richard for your hard work.”
“Hoho, you don't need to say that to me everytime Jonathan.”
‘He noticed that I was reading a book’
“Is that?...”
“One of the books I got from the merchants. I wanted to deal with those as soon as possible”
“I see...”
“If there is anything else, you are free to leave whenever you want”
“There is one thing Joseph… When are you going to finish?”
“... May I ask why?”
“Well… Those 6… New neighbors. They have been waiting for your orders for quite some time”
Ah
I forgot about them…
“Did they eat? Give them a proper meal if not. I was planning on leaving the villagers to rest for a few hours but I ended up forgetting about those 6 while I read my books...”
“As for that, I introduced the village to them, and I talked with them about the village's progress in the meantime so they aren't waiting for that long. It's just that...”
“No worries, just call them up here in five minutes, I will finish eating and I will scrub my teeth by that time.”
“Understood.”
‘Richard bowed and left the room, not too long later, he returned with 6 people soon after him.’
‘Their appearances varied, there was one man with a small beard and a scar passing between his eyes and towards his left cheek.’
‘One Old man with large eyebrows that were several Cm long, and one very pretty girl with a large bust. For some reason, the moment I looked at her, I immediately thought of those receptionists girls from adventurers guilds.’

‘And finally, there were three identical dudes. They didn't even have a Mustache, much less a beard. Even their hairstyles were similar.’
‘Those 6 looked at the “Elder” with different expressions’
“Heh, Look at your face. Why are you all so surprised? Let me guess, did you all think I was some kind of young master?”
‘They were surprised’
“Looks like I hit the tip of the nail. Allow me to introduce myself, my name is Jonathan Asmoste, scholar. Nice to meet you all”
‘The brothers and the girl were embarrassed while the old man and the swordsman weren’t.’
“Some of you may be asking ourselves why I bought your services, and in truth, we need you. Not only me but this village.”
“Let me ask you one thing Elder, why did you buy us if that's the case? Wouldn't it have been much easier to just buy food and supplies?”
‘The one who asked was the swordsman. His expression seemed doubtful’
… He is most likely thinking I am some sort of sick bastard that doesn't know how to spend his money. What a bother.
“This village can't be saved with only food. Nor is it going to be repaired with only that. We need capable people to revitalize this place. I imagine you already heard all of this from Richard”
“This is also one of the reasons I am here after all. I was sent here in order to help this village recover. So please, lend me your help. After one year, you will all be free as per the contract.”
“I can promise you all food and a home, and even pay.”
‘The swordsman closed his eyes, the alchemist placed his hand on his beard, the girl was thinking hard, and the three brothers had smiles on their faces.’
“... I will help you. It's on the contract after all. You must already know of my necessities so I will not repeat them here.” Said the swordsman, Mesh.

“I don't know what I can do with this old body of mine, but I will try my best.” Replied the Alchemist Magnus
“Well… If you place me in an Inn I can manage it for you but… I don't know how to do much apart from that...” Said the only girl, Milfa.
“Just say what we need to build and give us the materials! We will finish it in no time!” Said the first brother, Liuz First.
“First brother is right!” Said the second brother, Zuil Second
“Second brother is right!” Said the third brother, Uilz Third.
“Thank you all. I really mean it. Firstly, we need to find a place for you all to sleep in, Hence for now… Richard, show Mesh the forge, and introduce the three brothers to our construction group. I will be giving orders to them soon.”
“I currently don't have much work to give to you two… But Milfa can stay with old Ria and cook for now until we have a functional Inn. I bought some herbs so if you have the time, you can go take a look at them, Magnus.”
“I will do it Elder” Replied Richard.
‘After a little bit of small talk, the 6 were led outside by Richard.’
“... Time to order some things...”
First, I need a house for each of them. The brothers will probably stay together, so 4 houses should be fine.
‘Jonathan opened the System tab and ordered the construction of the houses.’
“Next, I need to make an Alchemist shop, Herb garden, and an Inn so that the new members can work properly.”
‘Jonathan opened the system tab and looked for the Alchemist shop, but he didn't find it’
“Perhaps that is a higher Tier building? If that's the case, I will build another workshop. One dedicated to this guy.”
And it has to be in a more open area since I will later build an Herb field close to it, same thing can be said for the Inn. It needs space for me to build a stable and perhaps a place for the girl to make wine.
“This layout is getting messy. I should focus the houses in one place and move the workshops and similar buildings to another area.”
“... I know what to do. I will start to clean some of these nearby roads and fix the houses near it. Once the time comes, I can demolish the houses in the main street and let the villagers move to another home.”
If that is too much for the villagers then I can do the contrary, I will destroy the workshops and let them work on the other road to clear space…
(It's hard to visualize, I know)
“Space is something I have in excess, why should I be organized in the first place anyway?”
“I can't possibly expect to make a perfectly organized city like those in games…”
I will also order the farmers to plant at least one field with each of the new seeds we got. I want to test these plants' growth speed and overall wield.
‘For the new hour, Jonathan continued to play around in the System Tab. Making sure that everything was working fine.
Thanks to the new workers, construction was sped up considerably, and the new seeds have already been planted.’
‘Jonathan ate his new supplements and went to the river to train as always…
And a week passed just like that’
