《I died so the main protagonist can have character development, but I got reincarnated to another world - Light Novel》Chapter 10 Hold on Let me think for a moment.

Kain and I used the All-Seeing Eye to watch the fight between the extremists and Adan and Lily. I noticed that the Kingdom's guard had arrived. But, they were casualties on both sides.
Lord Makarov, the leader of the extremist group, stood tall in the center of the area. On his right hand was one of the Kingdoms' guards. Lord Makarov looked at him and smiled menacingly.
This aura, I'd sensed it in many battlefields. He was cruel, the type of foe who couldn't be talked or reasoned, even if someone tried.
The guard wiggled his legs and smashing his fist on Lord Makarov’s right hand, trying his best to escape from his grip. Lord Makarov’s hand didn't flinch. Then, Lord Makarov placed his other hand on the security guard’s head and began to crush it.
Lord Makarov pressured the guard’s head, heard cracking sounds. The security guard cried in agony. Shortly, the security guard’s head burst, the blood, flesh, brain remnants, and skull fragment poured to the ground.
Lord Makarov tossed the lifeless body to a nearby wall. The body splattered into bits of flesh, blood poured over. Lord Makarov took out a piece of cloth, wiped the blood from his hand, and toss it on the ground.
When the cloth touched the ground, a guard ran up to him with a sword and pointed his sword directly at him.
Lord Makarov rolled his eye on him and placed his right hand in front. Dark energy started to collect on his hand. Something dark emits from it. Whatever it was, it was not good.
The guard keeps his pace and inched closer to him. He focused his mana on his sword and applied a fire spell to it. The security guard thrust his sword in front.
Lord Makarov moved his left hand and grabbed the sword as it gets closer to him. The flames started to engulf him, but the dark energy on his right-hand draws the flames into it. The dark energy became an orb after he extracted the flames.
The guard looks perplexed and terror when Lord Makarov grabbed his sword and scrubbed his attack. He moved his head upward and looked at him. Lord Makarov smiled as he sees the security guard's expression.
Lord Makarov placed the dark orb in front of the security guard's face. He made the orb smaller and threw away the guard’s sword from him. Lord Makarov squished the security guard’s mouth. Then, he put the orb into the security guard’s mouth and closed it.
“Swallow it!” he said. Lord Makarov looked at him with a serious expression.
“Swallow it!” he said. Lord Makarov looked at him menacingly.
The guard gets overwhelmed by Lord Makarov's facial expression and swallowed the orb. Seconds later, the security guard's eyes lights in purple color. He screamed in pain as his body began to brighten. Lord Makarov released him from his grasp.

The security guard’s body moves unnaturally. His arms and legs started to bends, head twisted to his back, the eyes redden.
He fell over on his back, and his hand supported him. He started to walk on four legs. A tail burst from his lower half, and spikes started to grow on it.
Moments later, the scream stops, and the security guard's body becomes unrecognized. He became a creature with spikey tails, a hardened body, and sharps claws. His head is still the same but with sharp teeth.
Lord Makarov whistled at the creature. The creature moved towards him. He hopped on the creature’s back. Then, he pointed at a certain boulder.
“Blast that boulder,” Lord Makarov ordered. The creature focused his mana on his mouth. Then, he blasted the boulder.
The beam hits the boulder, and a cloud of smoke appeared. A short while later, it disappears, and the boulder seems to be unaffected by the beam.
Kain and I focused on the boulder to look at what was behind it. Lily and Adan were behind the boulder. Lily put her right hand on the boulder while her left hand hovered on the chest of a security guard.
On Lily’s left hand, a bright light sprinkled over his chest and healed him. The boulder that she places her right hand on has a strange symbol on it. It was very similar to the ones her father used.
It was the light magic she cast to reinforce the boulder from the incoming beam. Adan, who was beside her, had his back on the boulder. His leg was injured but didn't look fatal enough to hinder his movement.
A gun in Adan's hand had similarities with the one I summoned when I fight with Holway. It gave me an idea. Not only the rules of magic are similar to my old world. The weapons here were also alike. Which means I could summon the same weapons.
“Hey, Miss Lily, how’s he?” Adan asked. He wrapped his injured legs with a long piece of cloth and tied it.
“Looking great. He just needs to rest for a while,” she responded. The bright light disappeared from her left hand.
“Do you have any plan for this?” he asked her.
It seems like they are in a pinch. I scanned the battlefield and noticed that there were several guards taking cover behind several boulders. A beam of energy heads straight to it. The beam destroyed the boulder along with the security guard. The flesh and blood spill all over.
“I don’t, but I know someone that can help us,” Lily answered. She summoned two daggers on both her hands.
What does she mean by “know someone”? Was she mentioning me?
“Yes,” she responded to my thought. She read my mind.
“I thought you can handle him,” I said. I used my superhuman intelligence and started formulating a plan.

“Who?” Adan asked her.
Lily said, “I’m telepathically linking with ‘that person’ right now.”
“Wait! Is ‘that person’ right here now? If so, he can join us with the fight,” Adan responded. Another energy beam hit the boulder. The light spell on the boulder glowed and strengthened the boulder from the damage.
I wanted to help, but if I showed up in your son's body. You might have a heart attack, worrying for his safety, or worst clouded your judgment. That’s why he should stay here.
“Something hinders him from helping us. Plus, if he shows up, you might be worried,” she responded.
“Nice respond, Lily. I knew you read my mind,” I send her my thought.
“Ermm…. Yeah, you’re welcome,” she responded. She was making a weird facial expression.
Why she made a weird face? Did she not read my mind when she responded? Did I falsely convince that she was reading my mind?
“Yes,” She responded to my thought. I knew it.
“You read this thought but don’t read that ‘thought’,” I said. I slapped my face as a sign of frustration.
“Oi, focus here!”
“Yeah, yeah,” I responded. Then, I said to her, “Why didn’t you use your ability to blast him.”
"I did, look at this place. This was the result of our battle. Plus, I sense something different when we were fighting."
"Something different? Like what?"
"I think he might be one of the demon lords, no way someone like him can fight me like this."
If he was one of the demon lords. Then, that also meant he was no longer an opponent that could be handle. Plus, it also explained to me the aura that I felt from him.
I scanned the battlefield to look for any landmark that could serve the plan perfectly. The half-destroyed tall building near Lily and Adan seems to be perfect for a sniping position. The location of each member of the extremist could be seen from the building. Plus, the person could provide cover for Lily and the others.
The problem was who would be the most suitable for the task. Moreover, there was a 30 meters distance from Lily’s location and the building. The other guards were 100 meters away. Someone needed to be in there, and that person needed to be cover.
"Can we use one of the guards as a decoy and get that person run towards the building?" Kain asked.
I looked at him and said, "It's not a good idea or bad one, but the problem is, that person who provides him cover might be one shot killed."
His type of thought was getting to the point of using human lives. This might be the side effect of Superhuman Intelligence. But I would deal with that later.
"So, what's your plan? we can't leave them like this!" he said.
"Don't worry. I already have a plan." I told him.
I explained the plan to him and then to Lily. Lily agreed with the plan and cast a large area spell. Several boulders that covered the guards began to lights up.
Symbols started to appear on each boulder. Then, it glowed and strengthened the boulder. A dark energy beam blasted the boulder. When it hit, a cloud of dust appears. The guard started to cough. After the dust disappeared, they looked at the boulder and were shocked to see that the boulder didn’t get destroyed.
"What the heck?" A guard said.
"Look at that," A guard pointed the symbols. He touches it and immediately puts away his hand.
"Don't touch that symbol. I felt electricity from it," the guard said.
"O-Okay."
With that set in motion. Lily started to telepathic link every guard in the area. She successfully links to every guard in the area, including Adan.
"Hey! how can I heard your thoughts," a guard said.
"Me? I heard your thoughts too," a guard said.
It gets confusing, real quick. Adan also noticed something wrong with him.
"Hey, how can I heard everyone's thought?" he asked.
"Don't worry, this is just temporary," Lily said.
"Lily, have you blocked them from reading our coversation," I asked her.
"I did," she sent her thought.
Great, with everyone linking up. It was time for me to analyze each guard. As I analyze them, only one person could do it.
"Lily, are you reading the same thing?" I asked.
"Yes."
"Good, I want you to explained him the plan."
"Can't you do it?"
"Just do it. It's for your own good."
"Arrrrrrghhhhh, okay, I agree."
She explained the plan to Adan and the Kingdom's Guards.
"Are you sure it will work?" Adan asked.
She paused for a moment. Then, she sent her thought, "Are you sure it will work?"
"If everyone play their part out," I told her.
She said the exact thing of what I said. Adan and the guard seem to hesitate for a moment but agreed to it.
All of them began to get ready to execute the plan. The guards looked at each other and let out a heavy breath. They picked up their gun and gathered their mana on it.
The extremist members keep blasting the boulders without stopping. All of them laugh hysterically, trying to demolish the guard's confidence and enticing fear in them.
Adan and Lily looked at each other and nodded. Lily signals the guards, and the plan began.

Time Can't Heal This
I've always hated the saying "Time heals all wounds." Maybe in most cases that may be true. In my experience with life and pain however, time has only ever bled out the wound. The scars that the wounds left behind though, are often so deep that just looking at them becomes painful to the mind. Time only heals what you let go of. Sometimes letting go and moving on just doesn't feel possible; no matter how much time you let pass you by.These poems signify what time hasn't healed for me.
