《I can summon my past lives》49 - Source

“My previous master will have a hard time finding us here.” Axel’s voice was heard.
The planeverse had entirety materialized in front of them and from the looks of it, it was easy for Axel to teleport it.
Damon Kaze, whose mind was still reeling from the angry voice he had just heard, looked around...lost, not believing at all that he was still alive.
“I don’t know how to thank you, Axel Thunderbolt. Thank you for saving my friends and family.” Damon said as he finally started calming down. Only he knew the terror he had just felt when he saw that gigantic hand that could destroy the Planeverse and him at the same time.
Before Axel could answer, a weird pressure assaulted them.
Their surroundings seemed a bit hazy and despite the fact that they were floating in the space outside of the planeverse, it seemed like they were caught in quicksand.
Damon was the first to panic, "Oh no ! He found us again!"
"Impossible!" Axel Thunderbolt shook his head, "This is a bit different…"
Axel felt something powerful and ancient making its way towards a certain region of the planeverse.
That ‘something’ wasn’t a living being...it was energy...something that Axel had experience with.
A source.
When Axel learned of the arrival of the source, he was so shocked that he didn’t know how to react. He grabbed Damon’s collar and shook Damon out of his terror and asked, "Tell me. Is there someone who is a Dao Being of the time Dao in your Planeverse?*
Damon absentmindedly said, "Yes, one of my sons is a Dao Being of the Time Dao. Why?"
"I understand now. My action of bringing the planeverse in this barren Chaosverse in an unpopular corner of the Megaverse gave this Dao Being the opportunity to have access to an unlimited future…"

Damon asked, "What do you mean by unlimited future?"
"I mean he could cultivate endlessly without any interruption. This place is quite far and barren, so nothing like complete extermination like we just escaped from would have happened for ...forever...I guess.
"Is it a good thing or a bad thing?... It's a good thing, right?" Said an excited Damon. If Chronos could have a major upgrade in strength, their planeverse would be even safer.
"It depends on how much restraint he can muster. I wonder if he can resist the temptation of tampering with time. He's already made a jump back in time to make his previous self get the Source of time thus changing our timeline and who knows how many more…" Axel said as he frowned deeply.
There was one thing that Axel couldn't see through even if he tried…
It was that three Sources in total had descended.
Just because the pressure was unlike anything Axel Thunderbolt had experienced before he could only surmise that it was the strongest Source he could think of that descended.
Time.
Creation.
Space.
A never before seen combination only possible because Chronos's future selves were connected both in the past and future.
Even the Star Gods couldn't boast of controlling more than one Source, they could only mutate it to suit their needs.
It was at that particular moment that Damon heard Chronos's voice reverberating in his mind.
"Hello, Father. The past crisis is now over, but just because we escaped doesn't mean that our future is safe. The man you just gave the Star Blood to will use it to eat all creation and become something that has never been seen before. Keep in mind that he won't be a mindless beast like you were...no he will be in full control of himself, which makes him even more dangerous. Across multiple timelines in the future, all my future selves ended in his stomach, even you yourself wasn't capable of defeating him despite your new powers. Me and my future counterparts tried to control multiple Sources in the hopes of defeating him but it was all for naught, a single body can only control three types of Sources. So, it all came back to the reason we are in this mess : The Requiem System. If I didn't create it, none of this would have happened. You would not have summoned the Blood Emperor who would in turn give you a drop of his star blood that started this mess. As me and all my future selves discussed it, we decided to create something new...something with unlimited potential and all we needed was a seed...yes...by following the Blood Emperor's way, we managed to create something we called, Source Blood...and after all our efforts we only managed to create a single drop of it and we chose you to be the carrier…"

Sorcery in Boston
The timid daughter of some of the greatest spellcasters ever to have lived has found herself in another world, courtesy of magic gone awry. In Boston, Massachusetts, in the year 1935, she finds some kind souls in a hard era. In the heart of the Great Depression, as war looms around the corner, she seeks to find her place, and must come to terms with both who she is and what she truly desires. Author's Notes: Release Note: I recently realized what the hold up is. My current mental state is not compatible with the planned ending. If I wrote the ending according to what currently feels right, it will be a wretched, cruel ending that feels monstrously unfair and invalidates the work of the various characters... because that's how my life feels at the moment. The planned ending is coming out hollow and awkward, no matter how I write it, and so I've been bashing my head. I will finish it, once I manage to either brute force something decent out, or once my head gets screwed on straight. Audience: This story is not for young children - it contains some profanity, sexual content, violence, gore, and significant adult themes. Most of these are handled delicately enough not to upset teens or adults (hopefully), hence the lack of relevant tags, but it is nonetheless unsuitable for youth. It's fairly slow paced, and focused on the development of very human, very flawed individuals. Length / Completion Estimates: The outline currently involves two books. Book 1 is expected to be done with Chapter 43. It'll probably be completely finished by sometime in March of this year. I expect to move on to the far-more-lighthearted Of Gods and Dungeons (currently in progress / on hiatus). Afterwards, I may decide to redo Book 1, or write Book 2, or actually start sharing the story most dear to me, that I've been working on for several years now. Draft 1: Please be aware that this is first draft material. I do intend to come back to do a second draft after the story is complete. If anyone notices any issues whatsoever with the story, please let me know (pm, etc) so that I can improve the second draft. Writer's Pledge: I've taken the Writer's Pledge, meaning I'm commiting to completing this story. I'm a proud member of WriTE, a group dedicated to finishing stories. It will be done! Behind the Scenes notes: This picture was commissioned from an inked artist by the name of DanP. Up until the time of the protagonist's arrival, history has proceeded as before. Some places and characters have been borrowed from wikipedia entries of interesting figures from the time. I will make note in the chapter comments when such things come up. Naturally, I've taken a great deal of liberty with them. In interest of respecting individuals, I've either attempted to portray them as accurately as possible, or modified them sufficiently enough that they're simply an inspiration, instead of a real portrayal. I've attempted to be as accurate to the era as possible, but I'm not a historian. If you're aware of inaccuracies, please, bring them to my attention so that I can correct them.
