The guards closed the jail doors, Lio, Tumotu and Harime were behind the bars.
"If they try anything stupid, anything. Just shoot." Sherman said.
Mekato was still thinking about the kiss, he shaked his head.
"Are you okay? Mekato?" Ima asked.
"Y-Yes!" He said, blushing.
"I-I have to go!" Mekato shouted, running off.
Sherman started to laugh.
"What has happend to him?" Ima asked to Sherman.
"Who knows? Maybe you should ask?" Sherman said, then suddenly started to laugh even harder.
Ima didn't get what was going on, but she'll once ask him. Sherman and Ima walked back. Harime wanted to stand up, but the guards aimed their weapons on her. She put her hands back up, slowly sitting back.
"Stay right there." One of the guards said.
Lio looked at them both, they were planning something. He will have to wait for a while. Lio let out a sigh. He was tired of being like this. He should tell her... But he can't. Not yet. The Truth must be buried, if she found out-
"What truth, actuallly?" Harime whispered, while she had her Kurenai active.
Lio's eyes widened up.
"Y-You heard that?" He whispered.
"Of course I did, I was reading your mind since you worked with us..." Harime said, smiling.
"I'll once tell her, don't worry- " As Harime was teasing him.
Lio stood up and grabbed her by the neck. Tumotu stood up too.
"Never talk about that, Understood?" Lio said. The guards turned.
"Hey! Sit back down!" They shouted. Harime grinned.
"Fine..." She said.
Lio let go of her and Tumotu lowered his guard, they all sat down. She has been reading his mind since the beginning of him, what should he do? She is probably reading his mind now too. But he doesn't care. Next time he'll have to watch out.

Mekato was sitting in the toilet, slapping himself on the cheek. If this continues it's gonna be suspicious. He has to be ready. It was just for the sake of finding them. Mekato let out a sigh, opening the door. Ima was infront of him.

"I-Ima?!" He shouted.
"W-what are you doing?!" He said.
"What are you doing?!" Ima asked, confused.
"You weren't-" "NONONO I WAS NOT!" Mekato shouted through her voice.
"I was, thinking." He said.
"About what?" Ima asked.
Mekato started to blush.
"Ehh... Long story..." He said.
"Let's go back, okay?" He asked.
Ima nodded, they both walked out of the room, into the hallway.
"The building is quite big, isn't it?" Mekato said.
"Yea, we are at the Capital, thats why." Ima said.
"Hey, Ima..." Mekato asked.
They stopped walking.
"About what happend before..." Mekato said.
"When you- !" As Mekato was talking a explosion.
"That came from the prison!" Mekato shouted, and they both ran to the prison cells.
- - - - -
"We need backup now!- !" The guard shouted through his radio as he fired into the hole in the cell.
Lio, Tumotu and Harime ran through the hallways.
"Which way! Harime?!" Tumotu shouted. Harime activated her Kurenai.
She stopped running, "Right above us!" She shouted.
They all jumped up and broke the floor. As they jumped into the next floor, they saw Mekato and Ima on the other side.
"There!" Mekato shouted, as he charged to Tumotu, they both clashed their weapons, Tumotu noticed Mekato had his dual wield pistols back.
"You're using those?" Tumotu asked.
"Always." He said. Mekato grabbed his other pistol and aimed at his head, while the other one was blocking his dagger. Tumotu kicked him away and charged back, Mekato fired his pistols to Tumotu. Tumotu dodged some bullets, and the other ones he blocked with his sword. He tried to fire but Harime kicked the gun away as she clashed her dagger with the chainsaw of Ima. Ima kicked Harime a bit further. She charged Harime and swinged her chainsaw, but Harime ducked and headbutted her Mekato's way. She jumped over Mekato and swinged with her chainsaw, Mekato jumped when she swinged her chainsaw and Tumotu took a step back. Now Tumotu was infront of them and Harime behind them. They put their backs together.

"Let's go!" Ima said. Mekato nodded.
As Harime tried to stab, Ima dodged and Mekato did too. She almost hit Tumotu so she stopped. Mekato kicked Tumotu away and walked next from Ima, He and Ima switched sides. Everyone was standing quiet for a while, looking for a opening. Later the guards came back, aiming at Harime and Tumotu.
"Which way?" Tumotu asked.
"Down." She said, they threw a smoke bomb, and jumped down. Running off.
As they head through the alleyway they went left, when Mekato and Ima ran through the corner, Lio came from a hole in the wall and ran with those too. They we're talking about something, they were running to the stairs and ended up on the roof. There was a chopper, but Harime suddenly grabbed Lio and help him as a hostage. "W-What are you?!" Lio said.
"Making your promise to an end..." She said.
"Ima, listen up..." He said.
"Use your chainsaw, you'll hit us both..." He said.
"Have you gone mad?!" Harime shouted.
"See, now she's nervous, because it's possible!" Lio shouted.
She summoned her chainsaw, but she was nervous. She will kill a high target enemy and take revenge, but is it smart?
"Ima..." Her eyes lightened up.
"This is your choice, do what you want..." Mekato said.
"I know you will do the right..." Mekato said, grabbing his pistols.
"I got your back if it goes wrong." He said, smiling.
The smile took her back to when he saved her. She activated her Kurenai.
"Hmm..." She said. She looked through everything, thinking.
"NOW!" She shouted, Mekato teleported behind Tumotu and kicked him on Harime, Harime let go of Lio and Lio ran off.
As Harime and Tumotu wanted to charge, Mekato pointed his guns to them both.
"Maybe it's smarter if you stand stil- !?" He stopped moving.
"Ey, looks like we're on time." A man said.
The Black Scorpion were behind them.
"W-What the?!" Ima said, as she got grabbed from behind by the twins.
"I wasn't expecting you three to survive the blast, good job." Tumotu said.
The twins bowed.
"Thank you, sir." "It's an honor, sir." They both said.
Mekato and Ima got cuffed and the last thing they heard was something hitting their head.
...
It was quiet for a while, he noticed someone grinning infront of him.
Everything was bright, but the other side was a man, and his side was darker. The man walked his way.
"We'll hello there..." It was Mekato, but with his Kurenai.
"...me" His darker side said.
"You are? Me?..." Mekato asked.
"Who else could I be?" The other one said.
"You, really disgust me, you knew that?" He said.
"What do you mean?" Mekato asked.
"That time, when Ima went down, you activated me, not your Kurenai." The evil Mekato said.
Then Mekato remembered doing that. He remembered shooting Harime multiple times, he was out of his mind that time, that must be him.
"You did that?" He asked.
"We Did that." The other one said.
"Don't worry, when you use the syringe you will get. You will be able fully awaken me." He said.
The evil version was slowly dissapearing.
"Oh? Looks like you're waking up... Don't forget me!" He said, grinning.
"Wait- I have questions-- !"

Necromancer's Resolve
Foster Locke's life wasn't the harshest it could have been. But it wasn't the easiest either. Despite losing the last of his family and having immense debt thrown on him, getting the chance to keep practicing Martial Arts pulled away, and having a completely messed up sleep-schedule, he usually tried his best to stay positive to the outside world. Of course, that wasn't always possible, especially not when he was staring into the glowing eyes of a man-eating creature he had never heard of before. The glowing message-box that accompanied it wasn't much better either. Not to mention the fact that he was suddenly in a dark forest instead of the train station. This isn't a story of great anguish, inescapable peril, or heroic world-saving. Rather, it's one of a young man trying to get by in a world that seems to try his best to kill him. I hope you enjoy the read. --- Cover Image temporary [participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge]

Armed with a single spell that he can only cast once before his magic reserves are depleted, Luz has his work cut out for him. Being the oldest is never easy. Author note: Please be warned as the book won't be what you might expect since the early chapters of my work are more of a slice of life of an MC, trying to adjust to his new life rather than slaying monsters left and right from the get-go with accelerated growth cheat and missions given by a goddamn system that forges your path, since everyone knows: an MC needs a system that tells one how to move forward. That was a long sentence. Also, some of you might consider my chapter titles as clickbaity, while others like me might consider them: not boring titles, hehehe.
