《Cultivation Bug Fuyo》Chapter 10 - Princess Kaguya Returns

Boundless pressure spread out, it felt like a mountain had hit them. The pressure was specific and only targeted the blood demon bees. One by one they fell from the sky crashing into the ground. Despite their sudden increase in power they couldn't fight against the mountain like pressure enveloping them.
It wasn't anything like the pressure emitted by Sai. Sai's pressure was shocking and it restricted their movements greatly but this pressure froze their blood. They didn't find it hard to breathe, they found it impossible to.
They felt like they were being strangled from the inside out.
The pressure was unbearably cold; they felt their bones freezing and then cracking under the pressure.
Psshhh... Psshhh...Click...Pssshhh...Click...Crack...
The blood demon bees' bodies turned into ice statues.
800,000 had escaped and fled in all directions. 100,000 were pinned down unable to move.
The reason Captain Deddo used this powerful buff spell wasn't so they could get away. He knew that a lot of them had no chance of escaping; he wanted to use them as a distraction so he could escape by himself.
But he never expected Kaguya's power to reach such a frightening level in the three years she had been gone.
In less time than a baker's breath 10,000 bees had been affected by the ice cold aura and it was spreading rapidly.
A white light shot into the sky and moved at a speed impossible to see clearly with the human eye. The only thing visible was a blur.
Kaguya lifted her sword high into the sky as she spoke the following words.
"I go away for a few years and you think you can lay hands on my territory? Dream on!"
She threw her crystal sword in to the ground; it slashed through the air and landed at the center of the battlefield.
"Amidamaru, kill these recreant fools. Asgardian Seal!" The sword seemed to hum in agreement. An illusory image appeared on top of the Amidamaru sword and hovered in midair as it grew in size.
Sword spirit.
Fuyo recognized what it was instantly. He had heard stories about sword spirits but it was only a fairy tale on the lonely planet. Sword spirits were said to only exist in peerless swords or swords that were so loved that a sword spirit formed. He wasn't too shocked about seeing a sword spirit, it seems like anything was possible in this world.

The sword spirit grew larger and larger until it was 100 meters high and stood aloof among the clouds. He wore a long robe, much longer than himself. It was blue and white like rain and snow, similar to imperial robes. They gave off the feeling of something otherworldly, he had a cold expression on his face as he floated in mid-air.
A massive array sprung up in the sky as hundreds of characters flew from the sword and swirled through the air. It spread across the entire battlefield and sealed half the fleeing red bees inside it. They couldn't smash through this barrier with their puny strength.
Now they were trapped and couldn't escape the ice that was slowly spreading.
Kaguya peered into the distance and noticed Captain Deddo had already run more than 50 kilometers away.
"Cocky brat, by coming here today you have sealed your fate. Don't blame me for being rude."
Captain Deddo was burning his life blood in order to increase his max speed by 3 or 4 times. By doing this he was significantly shortening his life span but living is more important than dying so he did so without hesitation.
Kaguya chased after him. She noticed how fast he was moving; even with her incredible speed he was still a bit faster. Her eyes lit up and her body faded away from reality as it seemed to exist but at the same time it didn't. Her skin turned into clear ice like crystals and she flew higher and higher into the sky.
She held up her hand and started condensing energy. An illusionary full moon appeared behind her back and in her hand appeared a sharp and long ice spear. She stretched her arm right back and then threw the spear with all the strength she could muster.
As soon as her hand retracted and let go of the spear you could hear the sound barrier break. It flew through the air with incredible speed, the air was visibly cut from the terrifying ice spear. It was like a hot knife in butter. The spear sped forward leaving behind a trail of ice and snow on the ground.
Phewww....
Stab...
Drip....
Psst...
Crack...
Boof...
The spear pierced through Captain Debbo's back as he fled and cut through his chest. He coughed up a mouthful of blood as he flew through the air. His body smashed into a tree and the spear pinned him to it. The ice spear spread its cold power through his body freezing his blood.

"Arggggh!!!!" He yelled in frustration.
"'You dare kill me? The Blood Demon Sect won't leave this matter alone. They will hunt you down and kill you." He scoffed, his eyes bloodshot as he coughed up another mouthful of blood.
"Let them come, anyone who dares step a single foot in my territory with malicious intent, will face my judgement."
Captain Deddo's teeth clattered. He was hoping he could talk his way out of this but his threat didn't work.
She flew down from the sky and after a few moments arrived next to Captain Deddo. His entire body was now covered in frost, he was a lot stronger than the bees so it was taking longer to kill him.
Kaguya summoned the illusory moon once again and gathered energy into her hand forming an ice spear.
When Captain Deddo saw the moon his entire body started pumping blood at an insane rate. His teeth grew longer and sharper, his eyes grew larger and the pupil turned yellow. Grey fur started growing on his body and he grew long ears from the top of his head.
His entire body was undergoing a transformation.
'Werewolf? NO!' Kaguya grew fearful from this sudden change. He wasn't human he was a werewolf and the moon triggered his transformation. When werewolves transform their strength increases by many times.
He gathered all the energy in his body to a single point, he knew he couldn't escape this calamity. If he was going to die then he would at least take her with him. He burnt all his life blood and forced the power into his heart. His heart started to glow red as it heated up under the power.
Kaguya finished condensing the ice spear in her hand and lifted it over her shoulder ready to stab it through Captain Deddo's head before he could finish his transformation. But his tail suddenly swept out from beneath him as he jumped high into the air. She dodged the tail and jumped back, but then his heart exploded and the energy wave flew towards her.
"Long live the King!" A smile spread across his face.
These were his last words as his body instantly withered and shrank into a shriveled corpse. His life blood was completely used up so he lost all his years of longevity, on top of that his body had its energy reserves tapped and absorbed by his heart. The energy from his exploding heart was like a laser beam as it aimed straight for Kaguya down below.
This move is something only blood demon wolves can use. It's called blood sacrifice. Once its used the werewolf will die. It's what makes werewolves such fearsome creatures. This suicide attack, boost their own power by several times on top of the transformation power boost.
On a full moon werewolves become overwhelmingly powerful foes, a single werewolf using blood sacrifice could wipe out an entire army in their transformed state.
Seeing this scene Kaguya panicked, she flew backwards at an incredible speed burning some of her life blood in the process.
But it wasn't enough, she couldn't dodge the red hot explosion staring her down.
She had no other choice, she crossed her arms over her chest and said quietly, "Frozen Cloud, Immortal Ice Tomb!"
Her body started freezing rapidly, in 2 minutes her entire body would be encased in ice. Frozen Cloud, Ice Tomb is a way of cryogenically freezing your body. But the beam hit in almost the same second she activated it.
Boom!
A large burst of flames scorched her body and blew a massive portion of her stomach away, the laser hit the ground burning a massive hole into the earth. The Frozen Cloud, Immortal Ice Tomb showed its worth as it protected other parts of her body. Her entire lower body melted away but her heart and brain were safe.
The power of blood sacrifice is simply unimaginable. It cleanly dug a 10,000 meter deep pit into the ground.
Amidamaru felt their spiritual connection grow weak, he felt the power behind it and a look of worry spread across his face. "No!" He screamed. But he couldn't undo the Asgardian seal, it only had two rules either the caster dies or his enemies die.
Originally he was going to wait as the Ice spread and slowly killed them all. He set it up so they couldn't escape. But things were different now. He started a one way rampage as he slaughtered his way through the blood demon bees. They were defenseless and most of them couldn't put up a fight but he didn't care.
His Princess was hurt and he needed to make sure she was safe.

Travelers [DROPPED]
DROPPED. The story focuses less on dungeon building than on the why of dungeons and how they fit into the universal order. While I am working from a grand plot, the writing is going slice of life style because I need to do that to work out how things progress into that grand plot. The original story seed idea / synopsis is below. The Grand Tapestry protects Rhofhir from Primal Chaos by imposing Order via patterns. However, the patterns grow stiff, stagnant, and so the Tapestry is nearing a time of Unraveling. Evidence of past civilizations wiped out during previous Unravelings foreshadow the apocalyptic catastrophe looming over the world. The mages of the Arcane Asylum reach out across dimensions, searching for some way to prevent, or at least stall, the coming Unraveling. Among the many voices they find is a gifted graduate student researching machine-assisted telepathy -- and his gaming group. Lena never expected that the chance to play DnD with telepathy would result in her becoming an actual Dungeon Master, nor that her friends could become the bosses of her dungeon. This is, in many ways, her dream come true, but there's a catch: What happened to Brad, the creator of that telepathy machine?
