Lost memories are getting back to Zeral one by one and for a time to time but to Zeral the most important thing is to remember what happened directly after he slaughtered the silver sabertooth and how he ended up in a coma in the thin ice up in the mountains and how much he spent unconsciousness there.

So Zeral doesn't care about this returning memory of his past life as he calls it even he can't understand why it returns in the first place? he remembers most of the fight on Moskal city though he doesn't care about it anyway...

As he laying down the tree resting, suddenly heard some footsteps coming to his way, it wasn't normal human footsteps so he realized it must be whether a monster or wild beast so he pretend he is sleeping and in same time grabbed his sword and closed his eyes waiting for this coming threat to appear and attack him as he thought...

However, after few moments, three monsters walk into him slowly as whispering to each other, "Oh is that him?" one of the monsters said in low voice

"I guess yeah as you see he fits the description we got about him" the second monster replies

Then the third one asks "Yeah it is him but what now? Is he sleeping? Shall we wake him? or wait for him to wake?"

The first one answer as alone getting near to Zeral "Let me try to wake him"

The second monster warning him "Oh be careful he is so dangerous"

As the monster getting near to Zeral, who noticed him and waiting for him to get close so he can kill him so fast...Monster get near enough to Zeral and when he tries to wake him, Zeral quickly take his hidden sword out and put it so fast near monster neck and ask him

"What you want? you should listen to your friend..."

The monster as he trembling in fear and begging Zeral to let him go "Please sir, don't kill me, I just come here to talk to you"

The second monster add to that " Yeah we just here to talk"

Zeral screams "To talk about what? joining your side in this stupid war? I already told my answer to humans. I will not be on your side as well so leave me the hell alone"

The third monster says "Oh calm down we are not here to tell you to come to our side, even if really wanted that in the first place..."

The second one "Yeah we came to you to tell you that is we have someone important want to meet you"

The monster who is under Zeral's mercy said "Oh please let go of me as you heard them we are just here to take you to someone who needs to see you"

Zeral asks them "To meet who? my wife? Did she die years ago alongside my son? and those are two persons I want to meet well about the rest I don't care! so no I will not go with you"

One of the monsters says "Sorry about your wife and son! I got a family died years ago in the war and I didn't get a chance to save them by reforming them to holy beings as I am"

The other one says "Yeah so bad to hear that, but this man is important to you as well because he is one of last remaining of the people of your city, Batrak and as we hear you are searching for answers about the massacre of your city right? so how about someone was it is ready to talk to you huh?"

Zeral take off his sword from the monster neck and ask in shock "WHAT? a man survived that massacre? are you sure? If you are playing with me I swear I will eat you all of you alive"

The monster who was under Zeral's sword saying as getting away from Zeral in fear "Oh, finally, damn it I though I'm dead"

In same time the other monster answer Zeral "Yeah we are sure he is from your city and he is not a man, he is a holy being now somehow he survived as he witnessed what happened there and as we said he is nearby and ready to talk to you"

The other monster ask "So are you coming with us now?"

Zeral looks to them for brief seconds then he says "Okay let see who is he? and finally get some answer" so he get his sword back and follow the monster to a near the nest where he found the monstrous priest waiting for him

Zeral enter the nest along with other three monsters so one of them says "Well here is our special guest for you" then they left

The priest turn his back to see Zeral, he stuns immediately after he recognize the face of Zeral even with the long beard and hair he still remember the face of one of the most noted man he ever knew which was Adomas, the hero of Batrak city

The priest can't even speak as he looking at Zeral in tears...So Zeral start the conversation by

"Oh so you are the survivor of the Batrack's massacre is that right?"

The priest answer as he smiling "Thank god, it is you, you are alive, my son Adomas come and tell me where have you been all those years?"

Zeral looks to the priest as he doesn't recognize him yet then asks "Okay? ahh, who the hell are you? to call me son? and how do you know my real name?"

The priest answer "Ahh, yeah forgive me did not introduce myself, after all, I changed a lot from my previous life appearance...You know the effect of this devilish curse..." as he getting close to Zeral "Well I'm the priest Philip, I was the last priest of the holy church in the city of Batrak, do you remember me now Adomas?"

Zeral says as he looking to the priest "Well I guess so, I do remember I got few fans of me back then, however, tell me what happened there?"

The priest got surprised from Zeral's reaction so he says "Well I don't recall you speaking to me like this son, is there something happened to you?"

Zeral says as he getting anger "First of all, I'm not your son go find someone else and call him that. Secondly, I don't care if you were a priest or a fucking god just. Lastly answer me the damn question, what the hell happened in that city? answer me now or I will smash your face"

The priest so shocked to hear this from the man who believed in him years ago so he starts praying in low voice then he says "...Amen, I can't believe you said this to me? what happened to you? you used to be like a child to me! you used to respect me and respect our god and love him..."

Zeral put his hand on his sword and says "I warned you once and here is the second one and it is the last one, I don't care about your beliefs, your god and your life I just want to know what happened in that damned city so you better tell me or I will kill you"

The priest stunned in shock of what just heard from Zeral so then he says

"Adomas, why are you talking to me like this? have you forgotten who you were?"

Zeral interrupts him by saying "Just tell me now"

The priest looks to Zerals in fears then he starts talking about the events of Batrak's massacre day "...It was so dreadful, I don't know who was responsible for that but I'm sure it was unstoppable force"

Zeral ask the priest "So you stuck inside the church until the monsters arrived and then you got transformed to this awful look, I see now it was not monsters who done this? it was humans after all"

The priest answers "I'm not sure who were they? where did they come from? why they attacked us? but I'm sure king David didn't know about it as well"

Zeral with evil smile in face he says "Oh, you see I don't care but thank you now I know who is the real enemy of mine so I shall take my revenge now"

As Zeral walking away from the priest, who followed him by saying "Oh what do you mean? wait, Adomas tell me what do you mean? who is your real enemy you talking about?"

Zerals stop and turn his back to the priest then says "It's time to put an end to the human race I will kill them all starting by taking this kingdom down"

Is the priest in shock repeatedly saying "What? no? no? what? are you? what?"

Zeral back on walking out the nest as The priest still in shock as he asking him "What do you mean? Are you going to kill humans? but why?"

Zeral stop walking again and turn to the priest and says "They killed my family! it was them so I will avenge them by killing all of the humans remaining in this pitiful world"

The priest says "Adomas, No you can't do that, you are one of them, you are their hero you must protect them not killing them"

Zeral burst laughing "Protect them? hahahaha yeah that's a good joke, now if you allow me I have to go, I got some humans to eat hahahah"

While Zeral turns his back to walk out, the priest stopped him from the shoulder as he saying "Hold on, you can't be serious about this?"

Zeral turn to the priest and says "I think you didn't understand what I said so how about I clear it more for you"

Then quickly Zeral take his sword out strike the priest's head cutting it to two pieces so after he killed the priest he cleaned his sword from the blood and then put it back and walk away as he heading out from the nest, the three monsters who were waiting outside asked Zeral "Did he told you the truth?"

Zeral looks to them and ignores them then keep walking away...One of them asks him "So you are now on our side?"

Zeral says "Never, but as long you are away from me, I will not harm you and as for humans hahaha they will be in my food table"

The three monster felt so happy as Zeral leaving the area...After they found it that the priest been killed by Zeral they went back to the cave to deliver the best news to the druid Hirvan that finally, they are close to winning the war
