Victory over the monsters now is near since Zeral joined them in the war which made Hirvan feeling that he may lose this war and the faith of his followers since they believe that he is a God and he promised them to conquer the world so to win he need a way to get the book of magic from the royal castle so with that he can kill Zeral and continue his march towards victory over humans...

But this monster told Hirvan that he knew Zeral and he can make him get the book himself even he accepted to go alone to meet Zeral which lead Hirvan to think about this

"You, tell me did your brother told you about Zeral before? did he ever mentioned him while he was you in your mission?" Hirvan asking one of his monsters

"I don't recall he even spoke about his past life also he was always that silent man, he doesn't speak that often so we never heard he got an old relation with that Zeral" the monster answers as another one add to that by

"Yeah that is true my lord, he was so quiet but he was amazing fighter and killed many humans easily to make him one of best holy beings in our army and if he dies that mean we will lose a great fighter so let's wish he will success "

Hirvan get back to his throne and sit as saying

"Alright, let see what he can do then, I hope he will not fail me while everyone back to your training, I have to rest and think clearly. Go! "

After he orders his minions to leave, he grabs a paper and human's finger with some blood to use it as ink so he start writing using the human's finger in paper some ancient words and saying to himself

"Damn it! I can't remember the full spell of mind-control if only I got that book...What was the next line damn it!" and after minutes of thinking, he couldn't find rest of spell's formula so he gets mad and cut off the paper and throw the finger and madly yells in low voice

"DAAAMN IT!"

After few hours, in main gate of Kolino city, a guard spot a monster coming to city, he quickly start the alarm to warn that they are under attack so everyone starts to get back to their positions, but they were surprised when they realized that just one monster come to their doors and holding a white flag

"Why he is alone? where are the rest? he wants to fight us alone?" a soldier asks others

Another soldier answers "I think he is alone! I can't see no one behind him but maybe this is a new way for them to set up an ambush so we should prepare for everything"

A commander adds to that "Yeah, that is true but he is holding the white flag in his right hand and waving it? what is he surrendered?"

A soldier asks "Shall we attack him?"

The commander answer quickly "No wait! he just dropped his sword down"

Then the general order to open the gate and goes out riding a horse with dozens of soldiers to confront this monster as they get near him, he stopped moving and raised the white flag as he saying

"Don't attack! I came for peace, not for fight"

The general stops the horse near the monster and asks him with tense tone

"What do you want? speak quickly"

The monster with tense tone as well says

"It is you..." then he looks down and with soft voice says

"I'm not here to fight you! I came here to speak to Zeral"

The general start laughing immediately

"Hahaha What? to speak with Zeral? You want to die by his hands?" while other soldiers start to laugh as well then one of them says

"Oh, you want him to kill you? just get back to where you came from...He is now sleeping in his room and I'm sure if you wake him now he will kill you instantly without listening to any word from you so better you leave"

The monster doesn't move inch then he says "No I won't leave until I speak to Zeral so go to him and tell him I challenge you to a sword fight"

The general continues laughing saying "A fight? what? hahaha, are you crazy? you think you can fight Zeral in sword match? Sorry, I can't send my men to wake Zeral and tell him that there is a dummy monster want to fight you man to man, he will kill them and kill you in mere seconds! just leave and since you had that white flag so I can't kill you as rules says here so you have to go"

The monster says "I don't care so please go wake him and tell him there is someone you must fight him because you promised him years ago! tell him the only warrior dies if he dies inside his beloved people hearts"

A soldier wonders "What? a promise? huh?" then the general ask the monster

"What do you mean he promised you for a fight? and why you want to fight him this badly even knowing that you can't defeat him"

The monster responds "I can't say! I must fight him so please go and bring him here! I'm waiting" then he went to set on a rock nearby, waiting for the general who finally accepted the monster quest and went quickly inside to get him Zeral

As he stands there waiting, the general ordered his men to be careful in waking Zeral so he sent two men to a Zeral room...

"Sir Zeral! Sir Zeral I got something important to tell you can I come in?" A soldier knocking the door of Zeral's room and the other one asks politely

"Please, can we speak to you, sir?"

Zeral opens the door and screams "WHAT? I don't have right to take some sleep! I said I don't want any disturbing while I sleep

"My deep apologies sir for waking you up but we have something important to tell you"

Zeral quickly asks

"What? you find me a bride? No thanks I don't want to if not then speak up faster"

The second soldier says "No sir ahh...There is a monster..."

Zeral interrupts him "Oh great another weave coming to get killed? why they can't just give up and stop bothering me. Alright, I will teach them to never gig me when I try to sleep! so how many? a huge weave like last time?"

The soldier with fear in his voice answers

"S-s-s-ir it just one monster and he wants to challenge you to sword fight"

Zeral shocked asks "What the hell? a fucking monster want to challenge me to a duel? what the fuck is this? you've got to be kidding me?"

The other soldier says "No sir! He said I won't leave until to face Zeral in single sword match man to man and yeah it is crazy to think that someone want that against someone like you but that what he want also he said to tell him the Warriors only dies if they die in people heart or something like that anyway he wants to fight you, sir"

Zeral start laughing "Oh a death wish you say? mhmm alright, no problem just kill him quickly and back to my bed" he goes inside to get just his sword that he always used to slay his foes with no outfit or shield he goes off to meet this monster...

When he gets outside the city gates he starts yelling "Where is he?" while the rest of people were just looking at him including the princess Donatella who come outside to watch the duel as rest of commanders and the general. The monster pulls a sword and walks towards Zeral with no fear or hesitation then when he reaches Zeral, he rises up his sword and says "let's duel!"

Zeral with a smile in the face he says "So you come all those miles to here just to die in seconds and you really amaze me to have the guts to challenge me in a duel so you really you think can beat me? hahaha"

The monster quickly move to strike Zeral in his chest but the sword, of course, did not even got a small scratch in Zeral body

Zeral says "Mhmm good hit! alright, I allow you to strike me as you want for one minute then I will kill you okay?"

The monster screams "SHUT UP!" and he attacks Zeral again and again while Zeral stands just watching then Zeral ask the monster who was attacking him "Okay now tell me why the hell you keep hitting me? what is the point? why you even come here? what the hell?"

Then he stops the monster sword with his hands then says "Enough! your time is up! so tell me why you are here? before I kill you"

The monster taking his breath heavily then says "You used to be warrior but now you are coward just hiding under your silver skin I will not stop until you fight me as warrior not as the beast you became"

Zeral punch the monster in face taking him down then he pulls out his sword and says "You think I'm coward alright you want a fair fight hahaha stand up and give me your best"

Then monster stands grabbing his sword and goes after Zeral again but this time Zeral block the attacks with his sword and counter with his own sword strikes but the monster was fast to avoid them so they begin to fight with each one trying to get the other...

But as it shocked the most of the viewers as Zeral too that this monster was able to avoid and keep up with Zeral powerful skills even thought that Zeral is faster and powerful he used his normal pace to make fight fairer but the intense and skills of this monster made Zeral enjoy fighting as in same time wondering how this monster can keep up with him in most of his moves and attacks

Zeral uses one of his old techniques in fighting which is strike too many horizontal attacks then quickly jump over and hit with one quick vertical attack to cut his opponent's shoulder or the head but surprisingly this monster blocked it successfully even that Zeral strike was powerful then he quickly grab Zeral hand with his left hand then with his sword put it under Zeral arm and then he put his leg behind Zeral leg and push him backward to make Zeral fall with sword quickly he strikes Zeral head but as it didn't have any effect in him either, the monster quickly jump back and get back to his defensive position waiting for Zeral to stand again

As many saw it they notice that he take down Zeral but for Zeral it was like a defeat to him, he stands to touch his head and breathing heavily as saying

"What? Did you defeat me? this is impossible if I wasn't immortal I would be dead now! how the hell are you? there is no creature in this world can defeat me even in duels"

The monster says "I don't care! just stand and keep fighting"

Zeral stand quickly with much anger he yells "SHUT UP! How dare you? I will kill you with my bare hands I will eat your heart..."

Then the monster throw off his sword and says "Then do it! you are not the same person that I thought you will be! you are just a beast! a coward beast! come and eat me as you did to your family"

Zeral yells "WHAT?" then with his amazing pace he catch the monster's throat and take him up with his such anger made him with one hand he rise the monster above and choking him to death while asking "Who the hell are you? How dare you to speak about my family! you pathetic monster"

The monster with tears in eyes barely speaking

"You...Are...The..Mon...Ster...Ado...Mas...Ughhhh"

The Zeral throw him down and ask him again "What? did you just say Adomas? what the hell? how do you know this name?"

with blood coming from his mouth, he barely moves or speaks, the poor monster tried to stand and then with all the power he had, he says while crying "You are the monster, you are the killer of Batrack, you killed your family, your neighbors' and my friendship forever"

Zeral stuns immediately, he can't understand anything or say anything for minute watching this monster trying to walk towards him then he asks

"What? who are you? How do you know that? You were there"

The monster answers as he falling to his knees

"You are the reason why I am like this, you destroyed everything in our city for no reason, I can remember you deadly roars, your red eyes and how you slaughtered your wife with your hands, the woman you loved! the woman you told me that you will protect her no matter what and you love her more than anything else in this world!"

As watching Zeral falling to his knees too as he starts crying "It is you! Oh my god it is you Kevin, the only man who defeated me in training duels, the man who once saved me from near death risking his life and now you are a..."

Kevin says "Yeah I am a monster, the monster who once was your best friend"

With much emotion Zeral in tears crying then he hugs his friend whispering "I'm sorry" while rest can't explain what is going on since they are far from the battle...

Kevin crying and ask Zeral "Why you did that to us? Why?"

Zeral answering as he hugging Kevin "My dear friend, I never knew why but I'm really sorry"

Then Zeral stand up as helping his friend to stand and walk inside the city while everyone wondering what is going on?
