"Boss, we arrived," Jax said as he looked at the back mirror before leaving the car and opening my door.
"Thanks, Jax" I smiled and left the car followed by Emma who held my hand as she left.
"Uncle! Aunt!" Rain holding Viktor hand jumped out of the car behind us as they ran to us, Kate and Rolph followed behind. "Ace" Angela holding Sophie and Henry followed behind, "Oh! Professor Ace!" Cao shouted as he helped his mother Yu out of the car and followed us.
"Let us move" I smiled as I walked at the red carpet. Cameras flashed everywhere, some were shocked to see rings on both my hand and Emma's hand. We entered the building and proceeded to the hall.
The kids got together while Kate was smiling and Rolph crying. Jax stayed a few steps behind as he followed inside the hall.
"Welcome Master" Rose smiled as she was waiting near the door, "You arrived fast!" I was shocked as we all came together.
"Master, do not ask, please… I…" Rose was cut off half way as Hope appeared next to her "Hehe, master!" Hope grinned. I smiled and nodded to them before going to the stage.
I noticed that my companions stayed down, "Come here" I pointed towards the chairs behind me. They nodded and followed suit. "Uhm" I stood up facing the large audience, everything was directed at me, looking behind once more time I clenched my fist and looked back at the people.
Silence, no words came out of my mouth but I had a smile on my face. The people waited for 30 seconds and began to look at the others next to them. That is when I decided to begin "I didn't want to come here, seriously…".

Others were shocked at my words, my companions giggled. "You may think that this is just a normal conference but you are all mistaken… this is my story, your story, our story…"
Everyone looked at me confused, I smiled and looked at Myah. Myah understood and smiled before she began casting her magic, "The world shall turn, space shall merge, may the Guild be victorious!"
Crack! The entire hall began to crack as a green land appeared in front of everyone who was shocked at what they were seeing. I smiled while looking down on them.
"Woah!" the people were amazed as they watched, the cameras focused on the scenery and my companions were used to this scene as they played the game.
"May the Guild be victorious," I said and the land changed into a different scene.
A forest littered with blood and destruction, soldiers shouting and running towards the beasts as they cut them into pieces. "ATTACK!" Thousands of soldiers screamed as they were pushing the beasts back.
Standing on a large rock, I looked at the battleground with cold eyes and said "Our world… Our history"
The scene changed a second time, it was a village, farmers tending their lands appeared on it, children running around each other, everyone was happy, everyone was enjoying their lives… I turned to look at the people and the cameras recording this scene "United we stand"
The scene changed into a destroyed village, littered with dead bodies of the old and young, I continued speaking "Together we fall…"
Some people began to clench their fists in the audience, "To you, this is but a game, to me those are lives that needs to be protected"
The dream world ended and everyone appeared back at their previous spots. "Ending the small introduction about what we will release tonight, it is time to introduce you the tools needed to reach that world"

My face turned serious and three machines were lifted under the stage, I turned to look at them and began to introduce them to the world "First generation VRM's, all of them includes access to the game but the difference between the machines are the functions available."
I walked towards the simple looking box and opened the hatch, "This one comes at 1000$, it will only help you sleep to play, you will be alerted at food times and several limits are within to not allow you to play longer than 12 hours".
Closing the hatchet I went to the next VRM, it was colored in black mat, glass on the top to reveal who is inside, pipes on the side "This one is a bit different, price is 10000$, it will provide you with supplements that can be bought from us, it can help you play longer, become healthier and improve your body functions the more you play".
The silent stage suddenly stood up in shock, not believing my words. I ignored them and moved to the third one, "This is a limited piece of VRM, only 100 will be sold, each will cost 10,000,000"
BOOM! Some began shouting already, others complained, the online chat became disorganized and others cursed me. "Silence," I said in a calm voice as I looked at them.
The sound became low, I continued "This will include all previous options, longer playtime, improves your body and become healthier… but it can also help your brain develop, this contains something that hasn't been created before and due to the rare parts used, we will make it a limited quantity".
Taking a breathe, I looked at the shocked people, "You will all start from the same line, no tutorial, no help, and no zone to start in, it will be all random" Looking around I smiled "You will have to sign several papers before purchasing the VRM because in this game you will experience pain beyond measure, death in its cruelest moments and tragedy"
Without stopping I continued "You will also be able to feel the world, taste the food and achieve dreams you had before".
I looked at everyone carefully "To purchase, read the terms & services first and then order it online, it will reach your location and only the person who purchased it will be able to use it as it will only accept your information… a small warning to those that want to bypass the rules, you will be permanently banned and no other VRM will work with your information."
I nodded and began to walk off the stage, Emma followed behind with the others. "Ace, that was amazing," Emma said as she held my hand and smiled. Rose and the other systems followed, "Rose, open the order section on the site, allow all branches to sell" Rose nodded and while she was walking she accomplished everything.
"Boss!" Jax opened the door and I allowed Emma to enter before I followed. "Take us to the airport"
Jax nodded and drove us back. I looked at Emma and smiled "Training session is coming, look at this place one more time before we go as this might be the last time we enjoy a peaceful life."
"Yes, husband" Emma blushed as she said that before she looked outside and enjoyed every scene she saw.

Dark Lands: The Exile and the Prince
A short time has passed since the siege on Ruined Home has been lifted and as the survivors of the battered encampment slowly begin to rebuild their new home, Aurelius has returned from a failed troll hunt. Yet despite the battered prince’s failures, he has set into motion a series of events that will forever change his life. Meanwhile, Iskra has found herself at the helm of a far more favorable position and begins to forge a path that will lead her towards the first steps of a long road of revenge. Author’s Note: This is the direct sequel to the first Dark Lands story and as time goes on I will update the synopsis to help bring further detail about the story. For now however, I hope you all enjoy what is about to be written. Eight Years Arc: Eight Years have passed since Aurelius and Iskra have first met one another, and a lot has changed since then. The vast majority of Aurelius’ family has been slaughtered by the hands of none other than his oldest brother, a man that the golden haired prince had spent the past several years to hunt down and kill all in the name of vengeance. Upon his return, the kin-slaying prince has found that some things have changed during his absence. Iskra, his first wife and love of his life, has proclaimed that she no longer cares about the events that have been unfolding in her former homeland for the last several years and states that she is solely focused on raising her children. Yet it is through learning that the High Elves have taken a keen interest in the once magically-absent lands of Ranislava that Aurelius decides that action must be taken and thus he journeys south to learn more about what his distant kin are up to in such a backwater region of the world. Who he will meet and what he will do will turn the tides of fate, but in whose favor is something that only the Gods will know. (The Eight Years arc is something that was designed to be written in a way where people don't have to feel the need to go back to the very beginning of the Dark Lands story in order to know what is going on or who the characters are.)
