《Adam is the Protagonist》Chapter 47: Story Converges

Adam leaned beside a wall while taking in the sudden turn of events. Who knew that something like this would've happened.
The prince retained his noble and arrogant attitude as he talked down towards Mathias, "Well? Go on, speak. Let's hear what you have to say."
"You already know why I'm here. Stop creating these disgusting events at once."
"Those old men told you to say that, huh? Well, everyone you heard him, time to leave. If there's nothing else I'll be on my way."
Mathias jumped down the stage and directly faced the first prince, "Not just this one but every single one. If I see any more of these events I'll consider everyone a part of it as criminals."
The prince raised his hand and boldly exclaimed, "Of course, I shall stop every gathering I am a part of."
The prince then narrowed his eyes and maliciously said, "Everything else, you have my blessing to execute whoever's a part of them."
The first prince then turned around and immediately left without saying anything else. Security then started to escort people outside even Abel and Gabe who were still onstage. Although they left, they all received some sort of compensation except for Abel and Gabe who bet all their cash in this fight.
Gabe realized this and was about to shout when a finger tapped his shoulder. He turned around to yell at him but when Gabe realized it was actually Adam, his opened mouth immediately closed and he looked down.
"Why are you worrying about that insignificant amount of gold? If you needed gold you could've just asked me, I would've been happy to oblige."
Neither of them said anything else and just left the establishment. Adam brought them back to the circus and let them stay there for the night. After leading them there, he went and tracked down Mathias.
As Adam followed the traces that Mathias left behind, he eventually reached an obscure hotel that was quite far away from the main path. Adam jumped up the window and saw Mathias meditating and taking in what had happened earlier and composing himself. Adam removed his black cloak and tried to test what he had learned.
Adam opened the window which alerted Mathias to raise his sword towards the sound but to his surprise saw nothing but a wide-open window. Adam conjured a spell that was etched into the floor which created an address and time with the following words, "Friend or foe, see for yourself."
Mathias was alarmed and read the words that showed up, he then looked out the window but still saw nothing. He went back to meditating but was more focused on his surroundings than ever before.
Adam left right after Mathias went back to meditating and called this experiment a success.
As Adam finished setting everything up for the following day he decided to head back and sleep, "Eve's technique is really something, who knew that I would get something like that from her."

Night passed quickly but the smell of blood still prevailed to everyone who was still awake.
The following day, Abel and Gabe decided they would rather stay in the circus fighting against the assassins while learning from Rosaline some basic fighting formations and strategies. Adam did nothing but consolidate what he learned from Eve's technique. Meanwhile, Mathias got ready for the meet up later at night, covering himself up instead of brazenly showing off.
After taking everything he learned in, Adam suddenly smiled when realized that two certain people were going to arrive at the same location. As a result, Adam changed his plans accordingly.
As time passed and that fateful time finally arrived, Mathias stood by the door outside a certain run-down place. One of Rosaline's people showed up and briefed Mathias all about the event that was going to be held later on.
He explained the kinds of people who went there, what the event was actually all about and, what kind of securities they had, especially the mana dome that kept anyone from interfering. As Mathias continued to listen he started getting agitated but the messenger stalled for time until Mathias had enough of it.
Mathias steeled himself and turned around, "I already know more than enough, I'm going."
The messenger apologized, "I do apologize for keeping you here, there will be two people that are already there. When you meet them, consider them what you would consider me."
Mathias went to the location where the event was being held but instead of going through the normal entrance process Mathias took out his claymore and broke the entrance into smithereens. Mathias wasted no time and ran forward knocking people out first since there was that sliver of a chance that the messenger was lying.
As Mathias was running he started to smell blood and feel an enormous amount of mana, he didn't want to believe it but as he arrived in front of his eyes was what the messenger said, exactly as he said it.
Rage welled up and he took out his claymore and jumped up to an insane height to gather enough momentum to pierce the mana dome's weakness, unexpectedly shattering it.
"No one's coming out here alive."
Mathias' bloodshot eyes pierced everyone's hearts making sending a shiver down their spines. As much as Mathias wanted to immediately deal with them there was still a more pressing matter at hand, Mathias dropped down and hurriedly conjured a spell.
"Wide Sleep."
Every participant, at the very least all the survivors, immediately felt a wave of weariness and closed their eyes dropping their weapons. Mathias left out a heavy sigh of relief as he managed to stop what he could, seeing that there were heavily injured children on the ground he bit the bullet and cast an even more demanding spell.
"Wide Heal."
As inefficient as he was in using these spells, he still had half his mana left. Mathias looked up and saw that the mana dome regenerated and once again closed up making the audience cheer up. Amidst their relieved voices, another voice trumpeted them all.

Zane roared, "Laugh while you still can, you bastards!"
Zane infused his sword with such an insane amount of mana and struck the mana dome completely splitting it in half, the same skill he used when he fought Garan's demon form albeit a much weaker version.
Mathias looked up and took this opportunity to jump out while carrying his heavy claymore landing in front of Zane. When Mathias finally got out of the mana dome, he and Zane locked eyes, as a sort of how two minds think alike, Mathias conjured his key area spell while Zane supplied him with an insane amount that even surpassed what Mathias would've been normally able to contain by twice the amount.
"Flowing Flame."
A raging river fire appeared from a seemingly desolate place of fire that kept coming into this world that flowed to where Mathias wanted it to. Everyone started to panic and immediately leave, the screams of agony and suffering that they heard from those who were caught served as motivation to go faster.
When half of the audience were scorched, a mage appeared who stopped the raging river of fire by casting his own spell.
"Frozen Land."
The raging river of fire started to crystalize that turned to ice which continued to spread until it reached Mathias. Zane saw this and using his sword, shattered the ice that was approaching them with his own sword.
The mage stroked his beard, "Interesting, a Tier 3 mage and a Tier 3 warrior, ah, at such a young age. Sadly, you're going to die here."
Mathias realized it was time to actually fight someone who supposedly above him earlier but due to the old mage's mana, he broke through barely reaching the requirements to be a Basic Tier 3. While Zane was steeling himself and trying to see how far he has gone from his initial Basic Tier 2 status.
Mathias conjured a spell.
"Fire Shot."
A quick ball of fire shot out of Mathias' hand which clashed against the mage's ice barrier. After the clash, the ball of fire sizzled out of existence while the mage's ice barrier had only lightly steamed.
Zane reinforced himself with mana, he then ran towards the mage at an indiscernible speed and slashed with his sword from a distance which the mage considered a threat.
"Ice Shackles."
Zane's feet were bound which would've made him miss but using his training to use, he used mana to reform the sword's blade to one that was longer slashing the mage's neck but failing to fatally wound him.
The mage jumped back and reassessed the situation at hand. Although he was an Intermediate Tier 3, it didn't that he should be looking down at the two Basic Tier 3s, the injury he received was proof of that.
"He-"
The old mage coughed out blood from his injury failing his spell which Mathias took advantage of.
"Heal."
"Flowing Flame."
As the mage healed, a threatening heat appeared once more looking to engulf the mage in its scorching fire. Zane's shackles were melted which gave him enough the ability to dodge the raging fire from behind him and dashed to the side.
This normally would've been enough to kill someone off but the mage's Intermediate Tier 3 status was something that had actual ability behind it. He quickly cast his spell.
"Frozen Land."
With this seeing that he should risk a bit more, he tried to double cast.
"Icy Spike."
To which the mage succeeded, Mathias' spell once against turned to ice but this time there was another threat to himself. Leaving him no choice, Mathias finally used his Trait Accelerate.
Matthias' words, casts, spell's formation, spell's speed all drastically sped up at an insane speed.
"Fire Shot."
"Burning Barrier."
"Scorching Wave."
Matthias cast spells in quick succession that it made it seem that he triple casted. This kind of speed is an extremely terrifying ability that would render everyone helpless.
Zane jumped back to Matthias' side and realized that Matthias actually had a Trait and saw that amount of mana he was using in using these kinds of spells essentially depleted him of twice his original mana capacity.
Seeing that Zane had a terrifying mana capacity of ten times what Matthias has, Zane lent Matthias mana.
The mage saw that they were trying to still defend against his attacks despite having casted more spells, he continued on his onslaught by consistently double casting.
"Icy Spike."
"Frostbite."
Seeing that this still wasn't enough, Zane decided to also use his Trait on Mathias which made his seemingly triple cast turn into a hexa cast, double his Trait's ability to a terrifying degree. This would've broken everything that was known to this small land but in this fight no matter how many spells he cast, they were still all overwhelmingly weaker than the mage's spells.
The final outcome was an endurance test, whether the mage would fail to double cast or Zane's mana would run out first. This would be all down to time except for one thing.
"Leaving me out? Naughty."
The mage heard a girl's voice by his ear, he immediately turned around and was about to cast when Eve used her dagger and dug out the mage's vocal cords, brutally. Eve made sure to not hit his arteries, preventing him from bleeding out too early.
Eve had her innocent expression on but the mage's face froze up and fear started to well up within him, "Hey, Yarge... didn't you say you wanted to meet me?"
