Chapter 6 Helpless

Do you know the difference between the forest and the city? The thing that the environment that no city will ever have no matter how much times elapse. Whether it is present or in the future. The city will always lack it.

Fresh air. The air that form when a lot of oxygen in the air compare with other compound in the air with a lot of gap between it. The oxygen in the air do not absorb heat while the carbon dioxide absorb heat from the air.

A lot of carbon dioxide will cause the air temperature to rise. Different with a lot of oxygen and too low volume of carbon dioxide. The oxygen causing the decrease in temperature as it form water vapor that absorb heat making the decrease in temperature.

Ah… The fresh air. This feeling that making my body feel relaxing as the cold air draft toward me. Although it just a gentle breeze that hitting me, it cause the pores on my body to open up and absorb this energy making me soft.

The gentle breeze that occur sometimes while bringing with it, the cool air. It swipe toward my face, my hand together with my upper part and lower part.

Why is the reason that I talk about the cold air? And do not forget… photosynthesis cause by sunlight forming the oxygen.

The reason is the situation that I face right now.

Right, left, up, down, front and back. All of it… I means all of it, no matter which direction that I am facing right now, it fill with only a green scenery.

Ah… The feeling of the fresh air brushing through my body really feel good.

A feeling that cannot be describe with just mere word, gushed toward Deus. Looking toward the greenery of this forest really can make people feel tranquility. But! There some problem in this tranquility.

Right about now, Deus is buck naked.

There not even a shred of cloth can be seen on his body. It really frustrating him.

Not only that, the body that he had right now was the body of a 10 years old boy. It really unbelievable.

A 10 years old boy left in a forest that can be said full of danger and without even a shred of cloth. He do not know how to say about this thing.

He can only stood there and be in a daze state for the moment.

“Ah… Damn, I really am screwed right now”

Although Deus feel that he had been wrong right now, but when he think again there is nothing that can be done by him right now. The only move that he can take is that to act.

An action that can secure his life.

Thinking the kind of action that he need to take, it really make Deus feel weird. Just now he feel really happy when a lot kind of cheat he ask has been given to him, but now. He do not know about it anymore.

That god really make a joke at him right now.

The god allow him to have all kind of cheat that he want. Not only that, there no restrain on the kind of cheat he want that the god told him that he cannot ask for. But now! It come back as the biggest joke.

What the use of cheat that he ask? The cheat that he might never be able to use it.

What can a boy of ten years old can do in this kind of situation. Deus only need to meet one monster or aggressive animal, he can be sure that he doom.

Monster, eh! I wonder if they exist in this world. From what he had been told, this world should be a fantasy world.

He had read a lot of stories about the fantasy world that he begin to wonder what kind of setting that this fantasy world had. Does it from the old age or the modern age? It make him wondering what it is.

Sometime later, Deus shake his head to remove the thought about the question that he had on this world. The kind of thing that he need to make sure right now was that, he can live through this until he meet another human or any good humanoid creature such as… elf!

The thought about there, maybe an elf exist in this world making Deus heart to beat hard. While simultaneously, he grip the palm into a fist in front of him with an excited face.

He really feel happy.

Cough…

After sometime in that state, Deus cough to regain his own emotion. He cannot dwell on it too much. Right about now he need to get himself to safety.

Deus do not know whether this place is safe or not, so he need to be careful. For this, he look toward the surrounding and try to make up the entire surrounding look so that he can make plan.

Then he realize that there a bush with a lot of leaf that cover the base of the tree. On seeing this, he then move toward that place and contemplate on it.

Based on what he saw, the height of that bush was enough to cover his whole body. This is because the bush can be said as big as half of the adult height. Making Deus thinking that this place will be a perfect cover for a while.

Deus then enter the bush carefully as he do not know if there a resident that reside in that bush already.

Slowly…. Slowly…

Deus move toward the bush and after entering it he know for sure. That there no other animal reside here because there not even sound or movement coming from it.

After making his back facing toward the tree, Deus feel secure. Human is such a weird creature, in a cramp place like this they can feel safer than a bigger place. Deus remember someone spoke this word to him before and it give him a lot of expression toward it.

Without further ado he sit crossing his leg in the bushes, and while doing that he lower the body of his. This action taken by Deus was to reduce the amount of exposure of his body that can be seen from gap of the leaves.

While he sat there, he put the right hand on the chest and thinks to himself that it alright. This action was done by Deus so that he can calm himself down.

Although the abrupt change of pace from happy to shock and then afraid cause the raise in heartbeat, it begun reduce by using that action. Deus know that in this situation, he need to calm down as it is the most important.

He remember that one time he read a comic about the survival in the wilderness. From that reading, it said that calming down is important as when you calm down then at that time you can think calmly and make a good decisions.

After around two minutes after that, he feel that the rate of the heartbeat already fall close to normal. Now he do not feel that feeling of ‘dup, dup’ in the chest of his.

The first thing that he must do is that to ascertain whether there other living beings around him. It is important as he do not know to what kind of ferocious intensity the animal that exist in this forest exist.

He sit in the bushes calmly without moving a little bit. Sometimes he feel a little tickle from the leave and small branches of the bushes.

He listen toward the surrounding sounds. Deus done this by making his heart calm down and focus the sensitivity of his body toward the ear. By doing this he can differentiate albeit not as good as someone professional, he still able to use it to hear the surrounding.

Deus can hear the sound of soft wind that hitting the top of the tree and the occasionally sound of insect. He do not hears any other soft than this.

While Deus focus on his hearing, he feel that the heart of his become really calm and it feel the restlessness leftover begin to subside. The sound of nature really can calm the heart of man.

Now that he sure that there no weird sound coming from the surrounding, Deus heave a sigh of relieve.

He then think on the ability that he get and requested. The ability of making it look the same as the game.

It time to check his status.
