《Kingun》I Am King!

"In this mental world of yours, I, the manifestation of all your fears and pains, am unstoppable!"
That phrase echoed in his ears for an untold amount of time. Ventus felt truly defeated and he was slowly beginning to realize that he had no choice but to give up and avoid further torture. He could do nothing but just keep hearing over and over the demon's taunts slowly breaking his will as his physical pain had surpassed what he could withstand and made his consciousness flicker and fail from time to time.
At that moment Ventus, in between his foe's mockery, he heard something that brought him back to the reality he was facing. All along he had been fighting as if this was a normal combat, like the ones he had when facing against his master's earth clones where he had no advantages at all and could only rely on his power to win.
However, this was HIS mind and HIS mental world! No matter how fierce the opponent could be, it was still all inside his head. It was all a fruit of his brain's processing of information, even if it was a terrible memory and feeling. that still meant that it was all built by HIM.
A grin slowly and painfully began to creep on his face and soon enough all the pain he felt was completely ignored as he began to laugh. It was a weird scene as he laughed with his mouth wide open but only wheezing noises came out. The demon noticed the gesture and curiously looked at Ventus.
"Oh, finally gotten insane have we?" He mocked, "Too much pain to bear?"
"Told you I would break you," He laughed, "You are just a weak little kid!"
Ventus, however, kept laughing. That only intrigued the demon even further because he noticed that it wasn't an insane laughter, but rather, he saw that Ventus looked straight at him and kept laughing. The demon finally noticed that actually, that laughter was a pure mockery as Ventus was only looking down on him with disdain.

The inner demon grew enraged and began to attack Ventus. He constructed javelins, swords, spears, spikes, and all sorts of weaponry imbued with flames and pierced Ventus all over making blood spurt and sizzle as his flesh got burned. The scene scared the demon as he saw Ventus looking like he had been brutally tortured by an army and still laughing his head off. It was as if nothing affected him at all! And if that was true, matters would become really troublesome.
Ventus finally stopped laughing after being continuously pierced for thirty straight minutes. It seemed as if he had died as his eyes were wide open and his breathing halted, he had completely stopped moving. On the sky, the ethereal fiery clock had changed colors and now was made of blue flames so that it could be properly viewed amidst the red sky. It clearly displayed that Ventus only had 10 minutes remaining.
"Oh sh*t!" Ventus screamed in his mind.
The demon grinned widely as he figured that he had finally broken his opponent. Now, this mind was his and he would go on a rampage with his new body. But at that moment he saw Ventus looking at him and beckoning him to come closer with his finger. The demons thought that it was a final struggle or the boy's last words before breaking, so he happily bent down and positioned his ear next to Ventus's mouth.
"Hey demon," Ventus spoke slowly in his wheezing voice "This is my mind."
The ground began to tremble as if an earthquake was hitting the world. The flames that burned the world began to die down and slowly dissipate as the red hue that covered the world disappeared. The ashen coloration of the world returned and even the inner demon's form reversed and became the dark Ventus appearance once more.

"Oh no!" The demon screamed.
"Oh Yes! Ventus roared.
The shackles that bound Ventus broke and everything that had impaled him disintegrated as his wounds healed instantly and his health and voice returned to full potency as his clothes were restored to their former appearance. Ventus began to float as he rose from the ground as he grinned and stared at the demon.
"This is my mental world!" He spoke slowly, "You have no power here unless I let you!"
"Everything inside this place is of my creation, even if I did not create it willingly," he grinned, "Everything here was created by and belongs to me! this world is mine!"
"And here..." he spoke fiercely "I AM KING!"
Ventus rose into the sky as the wind howled. He moved his hands and willed the world to move as he wished. The wind began to rotate around the demon and in instants, a ferocious tornado swept him off his feet and made him float in mid-air paralyzed by the sheer power of the ferocious winds.
"How about my father's magic now huh? good enough for ya?" Ventus laughed.
"I could spend a lot of time torturing you like you did me, and could even diminish you to a bug and just basically crush you, but unfortunately, I have no further time to waste on you."
The sky rumbled as lightning crackled amidst the dark clouds that speedily covered it. The massive tornado that swept the land continuously sucked all the air around it and tunneled into the clouds, absorbing them as well and their lightning.
The speed of the winds rose further and further as they crackled with lightning. The demon being held a prisoner in the middle of the vortex would constantly receive bolts of electricity as his body was spun like a supersonic top in mid-air.
"DIE!" Ventus roared.
He clenched his hand commanding great amounts of energy to congeal on the clouds right above the inner demon. He then swiped his hand down, and in a similar fashion, a massive lightning dragon flew down and swallowed the demon with an earth-shaking roar.
"AAAAAARRRRGGHHHH!" The demon screamed.
That was his last breath as the lightning burned and completely disintegrated him.
Ventus sighed loudly and looked at the fiery clock. It displayed that he had five minutes remaining.
"Phew," he exhaled exhausted, "Just in time."
