“Cough.” Erica gave out a cough. I turn towards her and ask, “So you want me to stop there?” She nods her head and I shrink my shoulders. I turn away from her and tell the group, “Well, story time is finish. Since I was talking about both our lives, I will respect Erica’s decision to finish the story there. But Erica can we stop at a part where I look good?” I turn towards Erica. She sighs and says, “Don’t worry about it. You are their leader not me. They will soon see a better side of you. Have some confidence little brother.” I sigh and walk to a water fountain to get a drink of water. I can fell people staring daggers at my back. I turn around and look at the team looking with a bunch of questions on their minds. I walk back to them and says, “You guys aren’t in class anymore. Ask any question you want.” They all turn to Erica and ask questions. “Erica, can you teach me how to double elements.” “I need to learn how to make an element into a weapon.” My supposes team have betray me and instead wanted to learn from Erica. I walk away and find a rock on the track to play with. I rolled it back and forth with my feet. “Everyone shut up. I didn’t stop Alex’s story there so I can look good nor because I want you, morons to ask me questions. I did it because in the next fight Alex might have told you, morons how to give me a decent fight. We fought four times and the fourth time I to give up because of Alex’s fighting style is opposite of mine. When he fights for real, he is my worst opponent. Also, yes when we were younger, I could do things he couldn’t, but that time has past. He can do everything I can and more. Not only that, but he can help everyone here get stronger. My style of fight and the way I would teach you, morons couldn’t help anyone here. Heck, it was hard enough to teach Alexander, and he is 100 times smarter and stronger than the rest of you.” I turn my head toward Erica. I look at her with shiny eyes. Erica gives me a weird smile. No, I shouldn’t have done that. Now, Erica will hold this against me. I turn to the team and say. “You guys, Erica isn’t a nice person. She is the living devil. She nearly kills me and herself doing experiments. She isn’t a very nice person. Well, it looks like that is all for today. Everyone look the big bad elders are here.” Six elders wearing cloaks walks out of the school and toward us. The team left Erica’s side and made a salute. Erica keeps ignoring them while I just wait for them. They walk in front of me and I ask, “What do you guys want? We are busy over here shoo if you are here just to watch us practice.” Elder Jessie points his finger at me and says, “We have a need for you, Alexander. You should be proud that the six of us have come personally to summon you.” I give a chuckle. “Oh, my six elders have summoned my. I feel so honor. Let me give a bow.” I give Elder Jessie the finger. He became furious. I can feel the power coming out of his body. “Elder Jessie, our parents would be angry if an elder hurt my little brother.” Elder Jessie turns towards Erica and asks, “So, you would get your parent involved in this matter?” Erica replies, “Why not? You are bullying someone weaker than you. Also, how would they feel they learn their adopted son get injured by an elder? Think of all the power and influence they hold.” Elder Jessie lets out a scream and punches a punchbag causing it to explode. “You brats! I hate both of you! Why in God’s named are you two so freaking talented and both have no respect? It must be because of your crazy parents; you have no freaking manners.” The earth shakes. The clouds from above are getting darker. The air is also getting drier. I can feel my blood starting to boiled. You can hear thunder in the background. Jessie had his back to me. He is insulting my parent. I will show him. When suddenly something hit me on the back of my head. I look down and it is the book Erica was reading. “Little brother calm down. Who cares what this moron elder thinks?” The earth stops shaking and the dark clouds open up to becoming a sunny day once again. The five other elders look at me with pride. They talk to each other. “He is the one. His power was not exaggerated.” “He is so young yet so powerful.” “No wonder we are giving him this test. He might pass it.” “Elder Jessie, you and Elder Kyle weren’t wrong this young boy has lots of potential.” Elder Jessie stops breaking the equipment and looks at the other elders with a puzzling look on his face. He looks at me and turns back to the other elders and says, “Yes, this boy is very strong but he has no respect for us. You guys deal with him. I am going back first.” Elder Jessie cleans off his cloak and walks back into the school. One elder says, “Alexander, we have a mission for you. Can you dismiss your team and come with us?” I look at the elder and laughs. “I dismissed them when I saw you guys coming. We could already have to left this area if it wasn’t for Elder Jessie temper tantrum.” The Elder gives a little laugh and says, “Well come with us.” I wave at my team goodbye and throw Erica back her book. She gave me an evil glance. Hey, she threw it first. I follow the elders back into the school. We walk to a fighting arena. In which a fairy user was inside of a cage.

Midori
The sea of stars. The momentaneous lifeforms that flicker far away. Our futures — a sea brimming with light. Each and every shimmer in the starry canvas serves as one’s infinite opportunities in the vast sea of the future. The world, however, is far from the ideals of such a mantra. Complacency is the enemy of progress, yet to the four known nations, each one sees enemies around their borders. An example: A village isolated from the nation of Alkai prevents the lives of many from progressing. It’ll take a society, a group, even a whipped together rag-tag team to jump start the quest for progress. An escape from a motionless home—in order to search for a greater future, Mira approaches her blade in a new light.
