《Shadow’s World》Did I just die?

Isis looks at us and says, “You two get on my back. Leaves leave this boring place.” Isis walks to Emily and picks her up with her mouth. It looks so weird seeing a human being carrying by a huge rabbit. My little runs and tries to get on Isis back but was struggling to get on. He is trying to treat Isis like a horse or something and is trying to climb up from the side instead of walking to the back and climbing the foot or even from the tail and walk up straight from there. I walk over and push and lift the brat by his foot and help him get on the huge rabbit. There was no point trying to reason with him if he is this excited. I, on the other hand, walk behind of the rabbit and climb up from the tail and sits behind my brother. “you two hang on!” Emily yells.
The rabbit starts lightly hopping around the stadium. It starts hopping faster and faster. The wind was blowing through my hair and it felt we were half flying and half running. It is moving faster than cars. It wasn’t that long ago I remember riding in a car with my head out of the window enjoying the breeze before we were chased by the Jeonglyeong. Isis still got faster and faster until it jumps out of the stadium. There is a huge gap between the stadium and the audience in the stands and it doesn’t look like we have clear that huge game. We start falling and it seems we are going to fall for who knows how long when Isis uses her legs and swings them down. Boom! The air around me shook and we start flying up again. There is another booming sound and we gain even more moment.
I look down where the sound is coming from and see that the rabbit was actually running on the air. After each booming sound, I could see the air fly downwards. We ran across the gap with ease and land in the seats. “I am going to put a shield around us so it is going to get very quiet. I would say close your eyes but you guys are kids and really do not listen and what is going to happen is a sight to behold,” Isis said. The world around us got super quite the only thing that can be heard is three people breathing. Wow, it did get scary quite. Isis jumps in the air. She does it another time even higher. She does it again and this time she jumps super high into the sky. Yet, there isn’t a sound to be heard from these actions.

She lands on the ground and the world around us turns into bright lights. There were no more objects that can be seen but just streak of colors. The colors were blending into each other and the only thing we could see is pure white. It was a smoothness to it some that cannot be described. It wasn’t like looking at a white wall it was something different. There were no imperfections in the wall. The light was pure and everything around it was pure. At the next moment, the world turns dark. I couldn’t see anything in front of me. Nor what was in from of me. I couldn’t see any part of my body. It then got worst it seems that I lost all of the feelings inside of my body.
I couldn’t feel anything and I try touching my nose to check I was still there. I couldn’t fell it. No no no? What am happening, am I dead? What is going on? There was no sound, no feeling, and I couldn’t see anything. How long I have been in here was it a few seconds or even longer? Am I really dead or is this just because of what happened with the white lights. What is happening? Please, someone, help me. I want to yell but nothing is coming out of my mouth. Wait I couldn’t feel anything. I I I I...
I awake to Emily looking after my brother and Isis above me. I could feel my body once again. I start yelling, “ah ah ahhhh.” It seems I have my voice back. I look at isis and ask, “what happen did we die?” Isis looks at me and put her nose in my face. It felt wet, sticky, and cold. “No, that is what happens when you see the world movies at almost light speed. Your brain is seeing so much information that it shuts down to try to comprehend what it just saw. Emily wasn't affected by this because unlike you two she closed her eyes the entire time,” Isis said. “It felt like I wasn’t there. I couldn’t breathe, talk, nor feel. Was that death?”I ask. “No. That is nothing like death.” Emily turns towards me. She walks towards me and put her hand on my face and looks at me in the eyes. “Listening to Wilfred what you two experiences was something awful. I have died many times and each one no matter what were the circumstance deaths was always peaceful. I have been tortured to death. There was the pain until the moment I died and it was peaceful. Do not worry about that experiences anymore we are in a peaceful place. Look around this is a kid’s paradise.” Emily said while rubbing my head.

I stop feeling nerves and looks around. There were roller coasters. I can hear children laughing and the rides were making all kinds of noise. I stand up and look around and see kids everywhere and so adults as well. There were all sorts of creatures running around that wasn’t human. Everything was walking around the place. Somewhere in lines to get on rides with others were in lines for food. There isn't any money and the lines for these places where moving quite fast. I have seen roller coasters on tv and they only allowed on coaster on each track but here it was different. There were many coasters on one track all at the same time. Not only that but the tracks are moving. They are changing their own layout mid rid.
A huge centipede is running around on top of one of the roller coasters. The coaster is heading straight towards it. That bug is going to be meat. Yet, with insane reaction speed, it dodges the coaster like it was nothing. It climbs down from the roller coaster and disappears from view.
I look around and the only people surprised by this is my brother and I. No wait a second did the shadow kidnap people and bring them here? “Um, why are there kids running around this place. Did the shadow take them in as well?” I ask Emily. “No, they are adults that turned into kids. The shadow doesn’t take in anyone unless they are mature enough not only physically but also mentally.
We have seen all of the rules when we are brought in to this place. The shadow doesn’t bring cripples or children. Children wouldn’t understand the dangers of immortally and a cripple would welcome the idea of it to walk or be healthily for the first time in their lives. That would be cheating. One dumb people like your 3 teachers get immortally. HAHAHA. Now, let’s have some fun.”

Gaia Ark
Commander Coop, a four-armed, power-armored, super-soldier, undertakes a mission to assassinate the head of a religious cult bent on destroying the UPSF and everyone they protect. But no mission is ever that simple. GAIA ARK is an action adventure hero's journey featuring a cranky cyborg, vampiric sword, alien monsters, and enough self-discovery to provide a character arc. It's a little rough around the edges, a little crude. I started writing this story on November 2, 2018. This story is mid-composition. Please expect clunky prose, notes [in brackets], and incomplete...

Homeland
NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER -- In Cory Doctorow’s wildly successful Little Brother, young Marcus Yallow was arbitrarily detained and brutalized by the government in the wake of a terrorist attack on San Francisco—an experience that led him to become a leader of the whole movement of technologically clued-in teenagers, fighting back against the tyrannical security state.A few years later, California's economy collapses, but Marcus’s hacktivist past lands him a job as webmaster for a crusading politician who promises reform. Soon his former nemesis Masha emerges from the political underground to gift him with a thumbdrive containing a Wikileaks-style cable-dump of hard evidence of corporate and governmental perfidy. It’s incendiary stuff—and if Masha goes missing, Marcus is supposed to release it to the world. Then Marcus sees Masha being kidnapped by the same government agents who detained and tortured Marcus years earlier.Marcus can leak the archive Masha gave him—but he can’t admit to being the leaker, because that will cost his employer the election. He’s surrounded by friends who remember what he did a few years ago and regard him as a hacker hero. He can’t even attend a demonstration without being dragged onstage and handed a mike. He’s not at all sure that just dumping the archive onto the Internet, before he’s gone through its millions of words, is the right thing to do.Meanwhile, people are beginning to shadow him, people who look like they’re used to inflicting pain until they get the answers they want. Fast-moving, passionate, and as current as next week, Homeland is every bit the equal of Little Brother—a paean to activism, to courage, to the drive to make the world a better place.
