《Xenos The Abysmal》City

Calling for Suha, who suddenly appeared in her fairy form, in front of him. After seeing him, she flew towards his hand and hugged his index finger.
Seeing this, Xenos looked at her and patted her with a single finger using his other hand.
With her smiling, he said.
"Thanks for the hug, Suha."
He then stops his head pats.
"All right then, that's enough. Suha, can you fly up and find the nearest road?"
Nodding her head, she flew up. After a few moments, she came down and pointed to a direction which he started walking towards. While heading to the road he had a feeling that he should go back to the cave for the innocent people that were killed, to bury the bodies. He shakes his head as he didn't have any obligation to do that, it was useless kindness, and there was no need for that.
Xenos continued walking, he had gotten rid of the blood-soaked cloth, replacing it with a fresh one. He kept his previous disguise as well, just in case, with his eyes black once again.
"Sia, what happened to my mission of saving the people captured by the bandits? I failed it."
"Host failed missions will disappear from your list."
"Are there no consequences for failing?"
"Well, yes, there is. When you fail missions, the frequency of missions being given to you decreases and the difficulty for one increasing."
"Well, that's not too bad at least."
Now back on the road, he heads to the city, as he sees the walls of the city a few miles away. There happened to be a line of carriages, wagons, and people waiting to go in. Walking towards the city, a few carriages passed by him, one that he noticed the most was this merchant-like carriage. Followed by this carriage was another one with steel bars to keep people within. Inside this carriage were slaves.

Looking at the carriage filled with slaves were girls, or what looked like girls of different races. He felt weird, but it seemed much better than his first encounter with slaves. As his first encounter, they ended up being abused by bandits and killed by him. The ones on the carriage looked sad as if they were wronged. Some looked at him with distress, seeking help, but he would do nothing. It isn't his place to help others, there was no benefit, he is no hero.
Eyeing the girls within, he saw that some looked human, but he sensed that their blood was not human as he compared it to Gwen's, who was human. Looking at them he identified their features, one had a single large eye, another had multiple arms, two girls supposedly siblings who were hugging each other had a lower body of a snake. There were many other non-humans with easily identifiable features.
What piqued him the most was a girl in the corner who appeared beautiful with a slender figure. She had long blonde hair that reaches her feet and is curly at the end. Her skin, pale, and her eyes are purple with vertical pupils. She had on a white tunic, seemingly innocent but filled with worry about what would happen for her. Although human in appearance, her blood signified something else, he was not sure.
Besides that, they seemed like they weren't living that bad, at least they still had their clothes. Some had on tunics, skirts, aprons, even embroidered dresses. He wondered what happened, for them to become slaves.
From the front of the carriage, a bald man from inside his carriage sees him staring at the slaves suddenly asks him from inside his carriage.
"Hello child, do you wish to purchase a slave?"

"Possibly in the future, currently I do not." He replied.
"Are you sure they will do anything you desire?"
"Quite sure."
Seeing that Xenos would not be going to budge anytime soon, he gave up, not before telling him.
"If you ever need a slave, come to Asura Trading Hall in the city, if you like any of the slaves I have."
"Yes I will, thank you," Xenos said in a monotone like voice.
With that, the conversation ended with the slave carriage going faster than him walking.
Nearing the city walls, he saw many guards on top of the walls, the same as the entrance. He was not going to enter the city publicly, as he did not want attention. Using Sonar, he scanned for people on top of the wall to find a blind spot. After finding one, he teleported there, then found an empty alley in the city and quickly teleported once more.
Now within the city, his objective had been accomplished in reaching the city. All that was left is to explore.
Leaving the alleyway, he looked around. There were lots of humans walking around enjoying life. He saw food vendors, clothing stores, jewelry stores, equipment shops, and more. This place was more relaxed than he thought, similar to malls back on Earth.
Going around he purchased some food that tasted delicious, not as refined as his own or the ones in the castle, but different. Continuing on his way, he went into some equipment shops and blacksmith stores to view. The equipment there seemed weak with lots of impurities, only a very few had decent weapons. He soon passed by a cathedral which wasn't too large nor small.
Staring at the building from the entrance, he soon heard someone say.
"Excuse me."
Looking around, he sees a group of young girls wearing dark teal nun outfits with light blue accents, a white veil over their heads with light blue accents, and brown boots with black straps in an X-shaped pattern. They all wore a silver cross necklace around the neck.
Observing them, he shifts himself to clear the way and says.
"I apologize for blocking these beautiful sisters, I was merely looking at the church and how impressive the building is."
"If you like the outside so much, you should enter and look at the inside too. The church is an amazing place." One girl said.
"That would be wonderful," He said as they started walking towards the church.

Child of Dusk
Life can be cruel, especially to those who don't fit in. But what would you do if you were given a second chance? Tim was a nobody during his time on Earth. As a penniless orphan with no friends to speak of, life was tough for him in his little Arizona town in the '90s. He'd utterly lost hope for the future until one day, he was reincarnated as Alvanue, beloved daughter and heir to the Starlit Throne of Silthonduen. Now, Alvanue has everything a princess could ever want: a loving family, loyal comrades and an entire kingdom at her finger tips. But what good is a kingdom when there's a whole world of magic and mystery out there to explore? *** Ok! Disclaimer time. I do edit my own work and I do not have a beta reader, so please feel free to point out any errors or plot holes (politely, of course). Each chapter will be around 4,000 to 6,000 words long and while I was posting every day at the beginning, I think I'll cut that down to once a week for now, excluding bonus chapters! I really don't want to get burned out. I started writing this because I love world building, so this is gonna be heavy on lore. If you're not into that, there's still a ton of character progression and action to look forward to! It's going to be slow at the beginning, but I promise it will pick up eventually. Thanks for checking my story out, I appreciate it a lot!

The Fall
Perhaps the most well known of all devils, demons, or fallen angels is the one known as Lucifer, Satan, the Father of Lies. The cultural influence of this figure throughout history is by no means small. Despite that, it wasn’t until the time of Milton’s classic – Paradise Lost – that we saw an attempt to portray a dramatized version of the events leading to this figure’s fall from grace and power. And while this is the case, Paradise Lost is not about Lucifer – though it goes into great detail about his potential musings. No, Paradise Lost was, and still is, about the fall of mankind. So, in light of this, and the feeling that the classical story deserved another telling, I present to you all The Fall – a story focused particularly on Lucifer’s fall from grace and his musings both before and after.

To Blunt The Sharpest Claw
The Velvet Paw of Asquith Novels are a series of New Fable genre novels that involve cats and dogs and high adventure and romance and espionage and food-fights and hotels and explosions and car chases. With large casts, exotic locations and an absurdity only possible in the absence of human characters, the Velvet Paw of Asquith Novels blend Wind in the Willows with James Bond, though with more cafes and fewer badgers. This submission is the third title in its Morigan Trilogy, beginning two-thirds of the way through the series' longest adventure yet. Here's a quick recount of what's happened so far: When Oscar Teabag-Dooven, a Velvet Paw of Asquith, is ordered to investigate how a mysterious poet, the Ar'dath-Irr, is able to travel instantaneously around the world, two very bad things happen. Firstly, he meets Lydia, an insane librarian who punches everyone in the face, and secondly, the Ar'dath-Irr reveals he is intent on taking over the world. Although this second thing might be considered worse than the first, Oscar feels differently following Lydia’s destruction of a cafe, a library and his face in one afternoon. In comparison, thwarting world domination just seems easier. Along with Binklemitre, a fellow Velvet Paw of Asquith, and Lydia, Oscar infiltrates the Ar’dath-Irr’s realm of dark poetry to discover the dog not only intends wrenching the world apart but has no intention of cleaning up afterwards. As a result, Oscar decides it’s all too hard and goes home to have a bath. After lots of arguing and the sort of food fight that posh restaurants were invented for, Lydia and Binklemitre convince him that they must stop the Ar’dath-Irr for several reasons, one of them quite serious. A vibrant cast of characters collide as Oscar, Lydia and Binklemitre battle the Ar’dath-Irr and his disciples in an adventure involving exploding cafés and appalling hotels, car chases and inadvertent surgery, dreadful poetry, lots of arguments and at least one temper-tantrum, all of which draw the three into dark and convoluted corners of a world they weren’t aware existed. Moreover, any chance of sitting down and discussing things over some buns disappears when Lydia punches the Ar’dath-Irr in the face. This results in her having a psychotic episode and Oscar getting run over by an ambulance. Although Binklemitre suffers neither, he witnesses both, which is almost as dreadful, though not nearly so messy. An enormous battle ensues, followed by a dinner party and then everything explodes.
