After hearing the voice of Rebecca's father, the former herself stiffened in shock and she can't stop herself from shaking

"Father!"

"Rebecca! How long has it been? 2 years? I see that you've grown quite splendidly! But you should know what happens when you return here" said Lucio Rebecca's father also a Marquez

"I know but..." She stutters

"I have already allowed you to leave once and do what you want in expense that your mother would stay by my side... And I've told you that once you return I'll make sure that you wouldn't leave the empire again" said her father

As Rebecca's listened she turned her gaze to the others who were watching her from behind

When she clenched her fist she said

But before she could finish her words her father obstructed her

"There's no room for negotiation! When this is over I'll see you back at our Manor" said Lucio

Upon seeing their comrade being pressured down by her father Okou tried to stand up for her as he said

"I'm excuse me! But sir... I think it would be best if Rebecca follows what she desires right?"

Hearing that Lucio turned his gaze to Okou before moving his gaze elsewhere

"How would a stranger know what's best for my daughter? Commoner's should not stick up their noses to where it doesn't belong" stated Lucio as he looks down on Okou

Receiving that provocation Okou himself almost exploded as he tries to approach Lucio but was held back by Melfina and Rebecca

"That's enough! Marquez Lucio please pardon my companions as a respect to me" said princess Ingrid

When Okou heard that he turned his gaze at the princess before gritting his teeth

"I don't care anymore!" Said Lucio as he tried to walk away

"I'll show you! Tomorrow at the exhibition match! I'll win my match and show you that what I have decided then wasn't a mistake!" Said Rebecca when her father turned his back on her

Hearing that Lucio replied

"Alright! I'm expecting that! But my decision stays firm!" He said as he leaves

When Rebecca's father left princess Ingrid muttered

"This will be troublesome"

As she said this Kaido glanced at her before he looked at the disappearing silhouette of Rebecca's father

When they returned back at their lodging house prepared by the empire they busied themselves as they prepared their outfit at the Hero's debut party and for tomorrow's exhibition match

Since Sui understood that everyone is busy she didn't probed Kaido any longer and returned to Zia to play with her

At that princess Ingrid asked Kaido to accompany her to the capital

Few hours passed both princess Ingrid and Kaido went to blacksmiths, weapon shop, even elixir stores

When they passed the square as approached the fountain princess Ingrid spoke up

"Kaido-sama! Do you think that being forced to do what you don't want to do seems pretty stressful?" She asks

"Are you still troubled about what happened to Rebecca?" He asks

Hearing that princess Ingrid sat at the fountains ledge and touched its water

"Of course I'm troubled it's just that being pressured like that made me grateful that my father wasn't like that" she said

Whole looking at her, Kaido put his hands in his pocket and said

"It's not your problem it's her's... I stayed silent since that problem wasn't connected to me and she didn't asks for my help!" Said Kaido

Hearing that princess Ingrid looked at him and said

"You will really help her huh?"

"It's obvious! Who told her that she can leave? Who told her father that he can easily get what I currently use? The only time I'll let her leave is the time when I have no use for her" said Kaido indifferently

Hearing that princess Ingrid laughed as she said

"You may act tough and black hearted all you want! But your not that much evil huh? But your not that good too... That's what's makes you unique out of all that I have known... I know that you have stained you hands with so much bloodshed already that if by ordinary means titled you as a murderer, killer, and ruthless but deep there inside your heart there is still humanity left within.... And my proof is that you have companions and underlings who trusted you so much that they're willing to exchange their life for yours" said princess Ingrid

Hearing her say these facts Kaido glared at her and said

"How did you... But nevertheless nothing would change! And so what if you know that much about me? You won't really know who I really am and knowing so much could get your life in danger" said Kaido

After that he slowly arched up his hand and made contact to princess Ingrid's neck while staring down at her

Due to Kaido's blood red eyes staring at her as if she was an ant princess Ingrid making her feel completely suppressed, she didn't even noticed that Kaido hand was on her neck until it was too late

"You know I could easily snap your neck just like that right?" Threatened Kaido

Hearing that princess Ingrid brought her face close to him and said

"I know you wouldn't do it! Your not even mad at me! Your only intimidating me right?" She said as she smiled

Seeing her smile makes Kaido feel like she was too bright to look at

"Tch! Whatever..." He said as he extracted his hand away from her

"You know... Being with you is quite fun!" Said princess Ingrid

Hearing that Kaido begun to feel a headache as he looked at her and said

"You know princess! We're not her to have.... Fun" stuttered Kaido as he noticed that the moment he looked at her, she herself seemed to stopped moving

When he scanned his surroundings he noticed that everyone and everything seemed to froze in time even the droplets of water coming from the fountain stopped midair

As footstep gradually approached him from behind, Kaido himself sighed as he said with a dead pan look

"Soo what brings you here that made you stop the time?... Goddess?" Asks Kaido when he turned around
