~two weeks later~

News about the crisis in the west border arrived at the King Emperor after two weeks showing how this operation was really being hidden by the enemy

The news deducted that this crisis is due because of a demon's intervention so the King Emperor decided to send the Hero's party to deal with this

As he decided this he also remembered Kaido who can go toe to toe with a demon

"Call that Kaido guy too!" He said

Hearing this the knights immediately followed his order and went to the targets location to convey the message

As everything settled the Duke asked Marquez Lucio

"By the way! I heard that you sent your mistress and some of your personnel to some vacation am I correct?"

"Uh yes!... They are on their way to the vacation house right this moment" said Marquez Lucio

With his stutter Duke Agra became suspicious as he ask

"It's just weird... Why your mistress? Not your wife or your legitimate son? Is there any problem?"

Hearing this Marquez Lucio gave a wry smile as he replied

"There is nothing wrong I assured you" he replied

Because of Marquez Lucio's reply Duke Agra gave a sigh before he stated to Marquez Lucio

"Remember never betray the King Emperor if you know what's good for you" stated Duke Agra as he glares at Marquez Lucio

"Hahaha! Don't worry! I'm still loyal to the empire" laughed aside Marquez Lucio

At that before Duke Agra left he reminded Marquez Lucio about something

"Oh yeah! I want you to gather information on that Kaido guy! You never know maybe he got some secrets that the empire is against with" pointed out Duke Agra before he left

As he disappear from sight Marquez Lucio gave a dry laugh as he foreseeing the tragic future of the empire if they provoke Kaido some more

"I'm afraid that he would end this empire... Or better yet he would change the world's view" he muttered silently

Not long after the message was relayed both Kaido and the hero's party arrived before the King

The moment both sides met the mood became awkward as they stated at Kaido

"Hey!" Greeted Hibiki

"I know what your gonna say but let bygones be bygones alright?"

Hearing Kaido's suggestion the hero's party brightened up as if they saw Kaido as an understanding person

As they talked to each other the King spoke up to pint the current issue

"Our heroes! Our border in the west is in dismay as we deducted that the crisis is brought by demons so we would like to advise you to help us solve this predicament" said the King Emperor Ergo

Hearing his words the Hero's party became silent when they heard the word demon

"Can i ask? Is this demon some minor one?" Asks Alda

"I'm afraid not! By the scale of this crisis it seems to be one of the archdemons of the demon king" said King Emperor Ergo

Hearing him the Hero's party sucked in cold breath as the realized that they are going to confront this time a demon that is way stronger than the demon's they've fought

As for Kaido he seems to wonder

"Archdemons? What's that? Are there ranks in demons?" He wondered

Both sides were greatly differ than the other as one was confused while the other seemed worried

Because of this the King Emperor Ergo seemed to feel unsure if this will be the hope of his empire

As they thought this Kaido spoke up

"Alright! I'm in since I'm curious if this archdemons are strong also I'll bring at least three of my companions since we're in partnership not under" said Kaido calmly

The King Emperor and the Hero's party didn't feel wrong on Kaido's word as he said about his request to bring companions since there more the people the higher the probability of success, but what caught their attention is that Kaido seemed to have no knowledge of the archdemons strength

"Kaido! The demon's are easy enemy but archdemons are different since they have the strength to bring down. A country all by themselves so they are classified as dangerous even in terms of adventurers" explained Lily

"She's right since she studied demons just for this moment" assured Mia

Hearing them Kaido nodded silently as he said

"I see.... Interesting...."

Hearing his remark the Hero's party just gave him a wry smile for his overconfidence

Since Kaido was already informed the King approved of his requests and suggested that they should leave as soon as possible because everyday one life might be endanger of dying

As this was settled both parties went back to their places and prepared for the sudden mission

Kaido decided to bring Melfina, Jack, and Anna to be his companions while leaving the others to guard Sui

As both parties arrived at the West gate they greeted each other before recognizing each other

On the other hand Kaido is saying his farewell to Sui since he will be leaving her for a while this time

Sui immediately understoods Kaido so she didn't make it hard for him

Seeing Sui's reaction Kaido sometimes wonder if Sui herself is a reincarnated person since she understands easier than her own peers

"Papa! Just be careful okay? Just be safe and come back to us" said Sui

"Silly kid! Do you think I would be in danger? I would never be in danger remember that" assured Kaido

As they exchanged words the Hero's party seemed to see Kaido in a different light

"Hey we're about to go!!!" Shouted Hibiki

"Alright!" Replied Kaido as he leaves

With that both party headed off to the west border to solve the crisis

On the other hand Kaido himself is already anticipating to see the archdemons strength himself and see if it lives up to its name

"Archdemon! Here I come" he said
