[West Empire's Main Road]

On the way to the empires west border, both the Hero's group and Kaido's shared one carriage prepared by the empire

As the girls drives and guards the carriage, the boys however are walking alongside the carriage in order to safeguard their surroundings

It is already given that having a journey to faraway places ate dangerous so the Hero's party decided to be more careful for the journey

All of the men in this company are watching out for any ambushes except for kaido who is laying down on the rooftop of the carriage

Its been 3 days already sin e they have departed from the empire so the Hero's companions got a lot closer to Kaido's Companions when they spend their idle time talking to each other

As they travel Alda felt tired as he walks alongside the carriage so when he saw kaido sleeping on the carriage rooftop, he couldn't helo himself but to speak up

"It would be great if all of us could take a break sometimes!!! Why not help us down here?" said Alda loudly

When he said this kaido woke up from his dozing off and replied to Alda nonchalantly

"Why are you complaining? Its not like walking is a tiresome job... Plus i am helping you guys... By being a watchtower! You should be grateful at least that much"

As Alda heard that he couldn't help bug twitch a little as he muttered

"Your arrogant as such... But i like it! Hahahahaha!"

When the others heard him they looked at him in confusion as if they were expecting that he would get angry but instead he was laughing

"Well its the first time i see you didn't get mad by some provocation" commented Mia from the carriage

"Why would i? He's just like me!!! Im arrogant as well at some point so i feel like he's my soulmate" stated Alda

"Soulmate my ass" complained Kaido when he heard Alda's proclamations

As they idle talking with each other Lily glanced at Kaido for a bit, but at that moment Kaido notices her gaze so he reacted to it causing Lily to turn the other way the moment their eyes met

"Weird girl" muttered kaido

As this happened Luke was smiling all the while as he listens to the other sides conversation

"It would be great if our travel is like this always... There are no obstructions making it easier for us to accomplish our task" he said while smiling

"If that really is then... This journey is kinda boring" complained Jack

"It is safe though" pointed out Luke

"I agree with him... After all our safety is a must" added Hibiki

After hearing that Jack just snorted at them before putting his attention elsewhere

As the carriage moves some more, time passes and at a certain point Anna's eyes opened wide as she told melfina

"There is a village ahead" she said

"Village ahead?" asks melfina

"Yes! My detection magic sensed it" assured Anna

At that confirmation melfina immediately told kaudo about this which made him react to it

"Heads up! There is a village ahead..."

As kaido said this the company stayed alert as the silhouette if the village appear from the horizon

When they arrived at the village they stayed at a small inn and spend the night there, additionally It offered an onsen bath for its travelers which made the company look forward to it

As they eat their dinner Kaido's group seated on a different table than the Hero's group

On the Hero's table Lily kept glancing at kaido which her companions noticed immediately

"Oy! Dont tell me that your interested in that guy?" asks Alda

"Lily? What about Hibiki?" said Mia

"This will be interesting..." commented Luke

As for Hibiki. He stared worriedly as he notices Lily taking a look at kaido at the other table

Sensing some misunderstanding Lily immediately spoke up to clear the misunderstanding

"Its not what your thinking!!!" she said hurriedly

"Then what?" asks Mia

"Is there something your not satisfied with me?" asks Hibiki worriedly

Upon hearing that Lily felt that if she didn't Clear up this misunderstanding It will grow uncontrollably

"I told you guys that it is not that!!!... Its just that"

"Just what?" urged Mia

"Somehow... When i look into Kaido's eye... It felt like he is worried about something" she said

At that Alda spoke up

"Worried? What can worry him? Hes goddamn strong!!!" he said

With Alda's proclamation the others agreed

"No... Its not worry about curtent life... Its more like he is trap in his past... Like suffering from his past" she explained

When they heard that they unbeknowingly turned their gaze at Kaido and said

"Well with his attitude he may have some one hell of a past" said Alda

"That means he has so many stories to tell if he opens up to us" stated Luke

"If he opens up" pointed out Hibiki

As they said that Mia turned to Lily and asked her

"So what are you gonna do?" asks mia

"Im gonna make him open up... Ill try" said Lily in assurance

"Maybe... Perhaps.... We could help him" she added

"Or kill us if pry deeper" stated Mia

On the other table Jack seemed to notice their gaze so he reminded Kaido silently

"Hey kid! Looks like they are checking you out" said Jack

At that kaido gave him a glance before returning to his meal

"Let them... It wouldnt change anything" he said calmly

As he continues to eat Jack spoke up again

"How about lets head in to the onsen.... I heard it can help you relax a lot" said Jack confidently

Hearing a familiar word kaido thought about it for a bit before replying

"Onsen?... Alright"

When Jack got his approval he happily invited Anna and Melfina

"How about you guys? Wanna come?" he asks

"We will... But with the girls that is..." said Melfina

"What she said" said Anna

When he heard them he laughed aside their answer as he said

"Well why not!!! Hahahaha"

That night in that particular inn, after Kaido relaxes in his room for a bit he picks up his basket as he heads for the bath and on theur way there he met up with Lily face to face

"Whats up with you?" asks kaido as he realize that Lily is staring at him intently

After few seconds of no answer he decided to let it aside so he immediately Opened the bath door

But when he opened the door Lily spoke up

"Kaido!... You can tell me anything... Is there something troubling you?" she asks

As she asked this mia caught up to Lily and patiently observed the situation

As both kaido and Lily stared to each other for a few Second eye to eye, Kaido replied

"I don't Have one"
