《Multi Me Myself And I》Ch. 6 Frozen Kid

It was morning and Jill woke up on the bed. She remembers from yesterday she completed the daily mission and even found a goblin cave. Today she decided she was going to go exploring again.
After finishing and getting everything she wanted done at the log cabin she went out and explored again. This time she did not go towards the goblin territory and instead went up the mountain.
The higher she climbed the mountain the harder it was for her to breathe since her body which was three times stronger than the average adult needed more oxygen. She made sure to be silent in the mountain and to watch from afar for anything dangerous.
Everything was beautiful up in the mountain. She could see the cliff and valley below. While she was walking around she spotted a stag like no other. The stag horns were extremely sharp and its hide was pure white. She decided to call the stag White Sharp. From above the tree, she spotted a giant slithering lizard which she decides to call Long Lizard.
The two animals stared at each other and didn't attack each other. There was more to lose than to gain if they fought. The white sharp went about eating the plants and the long lizard curled up on the tree looking at the white sharp eating. Jill liked the look of the white sharp and wanted to touch it.
She didn't try to touch it though as she knew the animal would most likely attack or start running when it saw her. She just sat still and watched the white sharp eating under the warm sun. She didn't know how long she watched but after a while the white sharp was done eating it soon galloped away.
She was about to go explore other places when she saw the long lizard starting to move. From below she saw a small pig with a sharp tusk and pointy fur that looked piercing. She decided to call the pig Pointy Pig. The long lizard opened its mouth and spat what seemed to be acid. The acid flew on the pointy pig and its scream rang out in the forest and it started to run.
Jill thought the pointy pig would run fast but the acid was also like glue and it slowed it down. The long lizard came down quickly and bit the pointy pig throat to death. Just when things were about to be over Jill's perception of time slowed down. From above a giant bird that looked like a hawk that looked all white came down with talons. Jill decided to call the hawk White Talon.
The white talon came down and its legs grabbed the long lizard head. it pierced and ripped it apart. The long lizard body curled up and moved around even though it was dead already. Jill looked at the majestic white talon and decided she wanted one. She would follow it back to its nest and steal one of its eggs when she became strong enough.

She watched the white talon feast on the long lizard and after it was done eating it grabbed the pointy pig and flew away. Jill soon left the area of the mountain since it was way too dangerous and any of these creatures could tear her apart. She wanted a white talon pet but she would have to get stronger before she could get one. Jill decided that she would study herbs every day so that she could one day be strong enough to get a white talon.
The next day she found herbs, saw new creatures, killed for food, took bath in the river, and so on. Her routine would go on everyday like this. Wake up, eat, study herbs, and then explore.
Slowly days turned to weeks, weeks turned to months, and months turned to year's. Jill daily routine didn't change much and she kept doing what she did. Her goal of obtaining a White Talon was one of the things that kept her going in the lonely forest.
One day the day came and Jill was ready. Jill was at her log cabin and she was now ten years old. It was currently winter and today she was going to get a White Talon. The Jill now from the Jill then was different. She looked battle-harden and far wiser. Her skills as a herbalist was very advance and she had learned many more magic spells. On her arm, one can see many scars but on her face, not a single scar was found.
Jill could make her scars disappear but she wanted to keep them as achievement for the things she went through. She thought status and a screen showed up. Looking at her stats she smiled.

After checking her status she went into the forest on the way to the mountain top. Through the years she had discovered many new creatures and their habitat. In the woods, she was known to the creature as the king and to the human who started settling two years ago, they see her as the mountain goddess. While Jill went on her way to the mountain the three other-selves of hers started talking.
“We can't reach rank 6 with the body we have,” said Jelly.
“Why not,” said the other two.
“With this much mana in our body I believe our body will break down, to reach rank 6 we need a better body,” said Jelly.
The other two simply nods at him and then ask him the big question.

“How do we get a new body?”
Jelly answered confidently. “We can simply evolve this body to be better adapted for mana. Problem is that we don't have the skills or spells to do this. Right now we can use mana at the basic like conjure and at the intermediate like making spells. What we can't use with mana is the advanced part that will allow us to evolve. To put it into perspective, using mana to conjure is like throwing a rock, using mana to make spells is making a slingshot and shooting a rock, and using mana to evolve the human body would be like using a rock to make gunpowder to blow stuff up. I believe there are levels beyond advance that might allow resurrection and time travel since almost anything seems possible with mana.”
Jack looked at Jelly and thought to himself. After a while of thinking, he spoke.
“Why don't you just evolve this body like the way you changed its gender.”
Jelly shook his head. “It is possible with my skills to change this body gender and evolve tails, claws, more eyes, or other stuff, but I currently do not have the skillset to make this body evolve to be better adapted to mana so that we can attain rank 6. If we want to attain rank 6 we would have to study a creature whose biological limit is rank six.”
Jack nods at his answer. “What do we need to reach the advance level of mana usage?”
Jelly spoke, “what we would need would be to learn about curses, buffs, enchantment, and other magical stuff.”
Jack smiled happily. “Alright then let's do it.”
Before the two of them could agree, JJ spoke. “Right now we're only at rank 3 and at our full combination we are rank 5 which is enough to make us invincible but I believe the main body should reach rank 5 without combination first before we start studying curses and other stuff.”
The two thought for a moment about what JJ said and they agreed. After that, they went back to looking at Jill's perspective. Jill was currently flying to the mountain top at a decent speed.
While Jill was flying a white talon spotted her and attacked. The white talon was a high rank 0 beast. It flew at her at breakneck speed with claws ready to tear her apart. The white talon came close and she easily dodged it. Looking at the white talon she decided to play with it.
The white talon turned around and flew towards her again. This time she used wind force and pushed the white talon back when it came close to her. The white talon felt the wind pushing it back and no matter how hard it tried to fly it couldn't reach Jill.
Getting bored Jill used wind force to send it flying away and then she went towards it's nest at fast speed. After reaching the nest she saw a batch of eggs. Quickly she only took one egg and flew down the mountain. The white talon who had come back saw its egg being stolen and it screeched.
It was only a rank 0 beast so it couldn't do much against Jill. Seeing that it couldn't win the fight it decided to give up and went back towards its nest. Jill who was flying down with a white talon egg was very happy. She had been lonely for many months and she was finally getting a new friend.
While flying down she spotted a body in the snow. Coming close to the body she saw it was still alive and it was a human child. She grabbed the child with wind force and carried them back to her home.
At home, she ordered her wind puppet to make a tub of water. The wind puppet quickly got to work. The wind puppet looked like a ghost with a tail, two-arm, and ahead. After the tub was full of water, Jill heated it to the perfect temperature and put the child in it.
From the face of the child, Jill saw she was a light blond-haired girl with a cute face. The blond girl was wearing clothes that seemed like royalty and it seemed she was running away from danger with all the rips in her clothes.
After making sure she was still alive Jill went to a manmade nest in the room and placed the white talon egg. Jill then proceeded to go up the stair getting clothes for the girl. After getting the clothes she came down and started to cook for the girl who looked malnourished.
For Jill, the girl could provide information to the outside world that those townsmen by the river couldn't provide. When Jill was young she tried to leave the mountain but she couldn't. The status screen always told her she couldn't leave or it would abandon her and make her a normal human being like most of those townsmen.
She tested if the status screen was lying and when she got far enough from the mountain she felt her strength drain from her. It felt like her strength was being suppressed. After that, she never went out far from the mountain.

Luck Lockyer
Luck Lockyer was the type of man to smirk in the dark, the expression not for anyone but himself. One of perpetual amusement. The bright side of things were hard to find in the shade yet his amber eyes were always searching. The smirk was his default, he knew it, his friends knew it, his family knew it. It was his most natural state. But the death of everyone close to you can affect a downwards curve on the mouths of even the most stoic people. Without purpose, without anyone to do the job for, Luck Lockyer found himself inside an empty forgotten church. The perpetual smirk on his face had slipped to a thin line, his scar more noticeable now than ever before. His amber eyes, the windows to his soul, dull and lifeless. To anyone who knew him, it was the clothing that gave away his mental state, denim pants and a plain black t-shirt. If that wasn't enough, the tears running down his face certainly would, the echoing sobs of a broken man rang across the rundown church. It was on a whim, but Luck Lockyer prayed, he prayed for many things, for death, revenge, friends, but the one prayer dominating his thoughts, a second chance for his family. That was all he wanted. Simple. It was then, on the outskirts of a polluted city, in an abondoned lot, in a forgotten church that Luck Lockyer, the Devil of the Cards, the Bloodless Hand, the Amber Demon, the Broken, was answered by a being from another world and one from his. *found the picture online
