Nail was currently at a desk looking at the reports his spy's sent back. He looked through it calmly with clarity. Taking the cigarette out of his mouth he looked at the picture of the two twins. It seems they were here to ask for help and had challenged the tower.

While Nail was looking at the report, Liana came in. She looked at him and he looked up at her. He smiled and puts the report away.

"What you need Lia?"

She looked at him and sigh. "It's that boy Vizer, he keeps challenging the tower and keeps getting hurt."

Nail could only shrugged his shoulder. "Let him do what he wants."

Liana had a look of worry. "I want him to do what he wants but I don't want him to get hurt."

"All part of growing up."

"Do boys have to grow up in such violent conditions?"

"Yep, a tough boy is better than a soft boy."

"Well, I prefer soft boys."

Nail could only cough and she looked at him weirdly. "You need to get your mind away from that."

"Hehe sorry, if you need me to restrain him from climbing the tower I can do that."

Liana nods, "yes it would be great if you could do that."

She then left the room closing the door behind her. Nail thought to himself after she was gone. "Maybe I can become a soft boy, or is that a soft man?"

In the log cabin, Jill was currently studying many herbs in front of her. Her mission had a time limit of two years but she planned on finishing it today. She had scoured the whole mountain finding every herb she could. After looking at a herb and studying it she would feel and look at its essence with mana.

Tesra was currently on the side reading a book while Jill just kept studying herbs after herbs at a super-fast pace. In her head, Jack, JJ, and Jelly admired her speed.

"With the pace, she's currently going she'll finish soon," said Jelly.

"Then we only have to increase our stats at a faster pace," said Jack.

"That's currently impossible unless we have a huge amount of mana core," said JJ.

"I suggest we just go rob other kingdoms of mana core after we're done then," said Jack."

The other two thought about what Jack said and they agreed. They went back to watching Jill who was slowly decreasing the pile of the unknown herbs. After a while, a bell ringed on her wrist.

"Looks like someone completed the tower challenge. I wonder what they're going to request." Jelly said with a smile.

Jill got irritated when she saw the bell ring and got up. Tesra saw her got up and spoke. "I want to see the people who completed the tower challenge."

Jill nods and the two flew out the door. After flying for a while they reached the top of the tower in Green Flower. They slowly descended and saw two twins and their knights who looked like they've been through a lot. After landing on the ground Jill and Tesra measured them while they too measured Jill and Tesra.

"What is your name and request," Jill asked.

One of the twins who was a boy spoke up. "My name is Altos I would like for you to eradicate the goblins in our kingdom."

"Denied," Jill said with a neutral face.

The boy nods and spoke another request. "Can you send something to eradicate the goblins?"

"Denied."

"May I ask why you won't do anything about the goblin?"

"It seems like a pain so I don't want to."

Altos arch an eye while shocked and gave up on attacking the goblins.

"How many requests do we have?"

"You have only 1 request so choose wisely."

"Ok then, can you make me your disciple?"

Jill narrowed her eyes at him. She flew closer to him and all the knights got their guards up but Altos told them to back down. Jill walked around Altos in a circle. After a while, she stopped.

"You got no talent, I can't make you into my disciple."

Altos could only nod. His knights could only look at him and sigh. His sister didn't like what Jill said but she held herself.

"If I may ask, what kind of request do you usually grant."

Jill shrugged her shoulders and walked towards Tesra. "Anything that isn't beyond the extent of my powers."

"Alright, can you give us something that will keep the goblins at bay?"

"I do have something like that. Are you sure that's your request though?"

Altos hesitated for a moment and then nods.

Jill dug into her pockets and pulled out a scroll. She floated the scroll towards Altos and he took it. He looked at the scroll and saw mana circuits all over it.

"What is this?"

Jill smiled, "That is a spell that can be used to turn someone into a necromancer. I have no use for it since I don't want to become a necromancer."

When everyone heard about what Jill said they became shocked. They heard about necromancers. They were people who formed artificial mana core and kept their soul in it. When their body rotted away, only bones of them would be left with mana letting them move. He looked up at Jill.

"Will this turn me into a skeleton?"

"None of that side effect. This scroll can give someone like you lots of mana to become a low rank 3. It also comes with other perks if you can find out what they are. Anyway, I gotta go, goodbye."

When Altos and his group heard what Jill said they became shocked. Rank 3 were extremely powerful being and only three known rank 3 existed on the continent. Two of them ruled their own empire while the other one was a hermit.

Jill took Tesra and the two flew away. The scroll that Jill gave Altos was a reward she got from the status long ago. She didn't feel like becoming a necromancer though since she didn't like being around dead things. She had kept the scroll for a long time in case her life was in danger but now that she was confident enough that her life won't be in danger, she decided to discard it.

Altos looked at Jill flying away. He looked back at his group. In front of them, he sent mana into the scroll. His sisters tried to stop him but she was too late. The scroll lit up with mana and a black mist flew into Altos. Altos felt his thinking become clearer. He gains new knowledge in his head on how to infuse his will into dead things and control them. His mana rose until he became a low rank 3. Altos felt wonderful at this moment.

Looking at his sister who was asking if he was fine he answered. "Don't worry I'm fine, I'm better than ever. Come on, let's go. We have goblins to kill."

Using mana on the knights and his sister who didn't try to resist he flew off the tower. He flew to where they kept their tilzards and floated them all out. Paying the stable boy he flew out of the city with his group heading back towards the kingdom of Dion.

By now Altos knew the goblins have either been trapped and killed by the mana poisoning or they saw through the schemes and have managed to survive. He was hoping the trap worked but he knew he couldn't be too hopeful.

With the current speed Altos and his group were flying, it would take them 2 days to reach Dion. The scroll Altos used had not only given him more mana, but it had also given him death affinity and increased mana regeneration. He also discovered the perks Jill told him about. The perks gave him knowledge about mana mind which he didn't have and other things.

While flying Altos would find flying monsters avoiding him. The mana aura he gave off scared everything around him. Animals and creatures would quickly hide or run when they felt his aura. Seeing the creatures cowering before him Altos decided to test out a spell that he had learned.

The spell changed his aura into that of a monster. He then commanded his aura to control the unintelligent monster and it worked. Soon creatures of all sorts started following after Altos. Whenever a creature couldn't keep up and died, Altos would use mana conjuring to make them undead with unlimited stamina.

As Altos was flying a wave of creatures started to form. Altos felt wonderful seeing such an army at his command. He felt happy and sad at the same time. He felt happy that he had reached low rank 3 which not many had reached. He felt sad because even though he was low rank 3 there were still other beings far greater than him from the knowledge he gained. Slowly in his heart an ambition started to burn.

The aura Altos gave off was burning with ambition. His sisters and the knights around him felt it too. In his mind, he accepted his ambition and let the mana in his heart flow into his mind. His ambition was going to drive his mind to insanity but he held it off and remained calm.

After a while, his ambition settled in his mind. It was at that time that he gained mana mind. With mana mind, his mana capacity double and he now had 22000 mana. Feeling that he had attained mana mind Altos became very happy.

He sent his perception out around him and felt he saw something dangerous. Something that made his heart trembled with fear. The mountain in the distance was a living entity of rank 4. A being that could crush Altos like an ant.

Altos quickly tried to pull his preception away but the living mountain had already noticed his perception. The mountain shook and creatures of all sorts panicked. The perception of the mountain giant spread towards Altos and it felt Altos was an insignificant threat. Altos too felt what it saw in him. Seeing that Altos wasn't a threat it went back to sleep.

The knights and his sister around him only felt a slight earthquake so they didn't know what happened and just thought it was Altos' awesome power. Altos saw what they were thinking and just smiled. That was too close for his comfort and he flew even faster.

In the far of land, in a log cabin, inside Jill's head, someone smiled. Jelly was currently looking at the perspective of Altos while also checking his stats.
